After capturing the encampment on video, the reporter was chased for several blocks by two men, one with a slingshot. Two prominent California Democrats have ties with a George Soros funded election organization. Sen. Kamala Harris, presumptive Vice-President elect, is one. The denial came days after photos circulated on the Internet, taken in Sequoia Park, seeming to show a hominid or hominids 50 feet or more above the forest floor in a tall redwood tree on a platform. The images, posted on a Bigfoot-related blog, were taken by an experienced Western naturalist visiting the 70-acre sanctuary, which protects many old growth redwoods.
