Where do Portland Antifans rest during the day between riots at night? In a hidden tent city near downtown, paid for and serviced by the city, according to a local citizen journalist. After capturing the encampment on video, the reporter was chased for several blocks by two men, one with a slingshot. The camp is one of several under the auspices of the Joint Office of Homeless Services. “It is entirely funded by the city of Portland, with start-up costs priced at $214,097 and ongoing support for all three sites expected at $155,488 monthly,” said the Portland sleuth.

The citizens of Portland are paying for it in more ways than they could ever imagine.

I have a feeling that the mayor and city council people pretty much just stay inside all the time. What do they do right?

So Soros is reimbursing the city under the table? Or do they even bother?

A city-funded tent community of criminals. How twisted is the left!

tent city is surrounded by a privacy fence. Did you see that. So someone driving by does not know what is behind that fence. Time for the people of Portland to get their bull horns, cars and any other noise makers and use them all day long by tent city. Maybe the occupants would be to tired to riot.

I had no idea that a tent city would be paid for by a city. Anyone know if this is the standard? like the many tent cities in Seattle. With that start-up money they can certainly pay for more than tents and food.

Why doesn't a group of tax-paying citizens go and peacefully protest while these terrorists are away at night ??

The FBI needs to look into the funding. Wheeler is a thug himself, funding the violence in the city he was elected to protect.

I wonder how flammable tents are?

I would have to think this would mean they can be held liable for the destruction, personal injury(ies), loss of business, creating a hostile work environment (against law enforcement in particular), etc....
The lots they are encamped on, are owned by someone, and they are giving permission, or getting paid rent for the use of their space. Which presumes there is a rental agreement.

Seems a daytime A-10 strike is in order, or a C130. Whichever is quicker.

This is sooo wonderful!
Imagine ...all the rioters are together in a few fenced-in tent cities.
The feds need to surround them at 5am. The paddy wagon takes them to a distant city.
Search the tents before destroying them.

Now the federal Marshals know where to serve the search and arrest warrants. Rather thoughtful of Mayor Wheeler to "round up the usual suspects."

Portland residents paying for their own destruction, how dumb is that. Great idea for a way to get rid of the rioting riff-raff without firing a shot, drop a bunch of Wasp and Yellow Jacket nests inside the fence by drone and helicopter. They would be pretty riled up by the time they hit the ground.

An Arc Light would be appropriate but would probably violate some noise ordnance.

A-10s would scare the entire city but a C-130 could provide a rainstorm of lead from way up. The tents would be turned into confetti and the people - yecchhh.

Showing your age there, #20... I'm figuratively with the C130 solution. :) 5Am is the wrong time...wouldn't they just be coming back from 'work'?

Cue the music: Nice Work if You Can Get It. Make a deal with the city you want to trash, and have them pay for it AND feed and clothe you for the duration. Are you sending money home to your mother as well??

I certainly hope Portland taxpayers enjoy paying for this. The money would be better spent on helping those people who's lives and income were wiped out by all the looting and burning. The conclusion: demonrats pay for the anarchists to show up, do their looting and burning, then house them courtesy of the taxpayer, and on top of that, refuse to prosecute any of them. How much you want to bet those very same demonrats running their anarchist city get reelected again?

The mayor and city council needs to be arrested as accomplices to the rioting terrorists.
