Trump-Hater John Bolton Debunks
Anonymous Atlantic Hit Piece On Trump’s

Fired former National Security Advisor John Bolton, who released an anti-Trump book earlier this year that sought to offer one last breath into the Democrats’ February impeachment hopes, debunked The Atlantic hit piece published Thursday. The magazine’s story relied entirely on anonymous sources to charge the president with making disparaging remarks on WWI veterans. (Snip)Bolton’s book however, offered a different narrative of events falling in line with the official White House claims for the last-minute cancellation in France. “The weather was bad, and Kelly and I spoke about whether to travel as planned to the Chateau-Thierry Belleau Wood monuments and nearby American Cemeteries, where many US World War I dead

Comments:

Bolton also described why a trip to the cemetery by car was not feasible. Re the anonymous recitations of quotes attributed to President Trump, he said he never heard those and that the anonymous persons should identify themselves.

Another story in The Hill says Biden is already running ads about Trump's supposed comments - less than 24 hours after the Atlantic hit piece. They had to have been in the pipeline. Even Bolton can't go along with lies and phony stories this bad.

This is from Bolton’s own memoir, quoted in the article: Marine One’s crew was saying that bad visibility could make it imprudent to chopper to the cemetery. The ceiling was not too low for Marines to fly in combat, but flying POTUS was obviously something very different. If a motorcade was necessary, it could take between ninety and a hundred and twenty minutes each way, along roads that were not exactly freeways, posing an unacceptable risk that we could not get the President out of France quickly enough in case of an emergency. It was a straightforward decision to cancel the visit but very hard for a Marine like Kelly to recommend, having originally been the one to suggest Belleau Wood… Trump agreed, and it was decided that others would drive to the cemetery instead.

Also from the article: The ousted Trump White House national security adviser also addressed The Atlantic’s anonymously sourced claims in an interview with Bloomberg, denying that he ever heard the any of the alleged remarks attributed to the president and said those quoted by the magazine ought to publicly go on record. “I didn’t hear him say those things,” Bolton told Bloomberg, though he added, “it’s certainly possible.” Does #6 have a link for that Bolton quote. Haven’t seen it anywhere….

From PJ Media: Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Trump’s former press secretary, called The Atlantic story B.S. on Twitter, “I was actually there and one of the people [who were] part of the discussion – this never happened. I have sat in the room when our President called family members after their sons were killed in action and it was heart-wrenching,” she said. “These were some of the moments I witnessed the President show his heart and demonstrate how much he respects the selfless and courageous men and women of our military. I am disgusted by this false attack.” https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/matt-margolis/2020/09/04/heres-how-we-know-the-atlantics-hit-piece-on-trump-is-pure-fiction-n890999

Joe Biden’s town hall event in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Thursday was marred by a number of controversial and eyebrow-raising incidents, including the Democratic candidate claiming that the light bulb was not invented by Thomas Edison, and a questioner refusing to adhere to a pre-written script she was “told to go off.” (Snip)“We gotta, for example, why in God’s name don’t we teach history in history classes?” he told the crowd through a mask. “A black man invented the light bulb, not a white guy named Edison. Last December, in response to Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse, U.S. Attorney John Durham released a statement informing Americans that, “based on the evidence collected to date,” his team had “advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.” The release earlier this week of the FBI’s 302 summary of the agency’s interview of Joseph Mifsud confirms Durham’s statement and proves what many Americans have long surmised: The purported basis for the launch of Crossfire Hurricane was a pretext for spying on the Trump campaign.

The decision this week by the full U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia overriding a three-judge panel’s ruling that would have allowed criminal charges against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to be dismissed was flawed, but not unexpected. Anyone who listened to the hostile questioning by some of the judges on the appellate court during oral arguments could have anticipated the ruling (Snip) Still, it’s unfathomable that a criminal case against a U.S. citizen has been kept alive for nearly four months after federal prosecutors filed a motion to dismiss the case because “continued prosecution … would not serve the interests of justice.”

Events have compelled lifelong swamp denizen Joe “Joey Basement” Biden to scurry into the sunlight and read from a teleprompter. In a duplicitous performance worthy of Pravda, Biden blamed the leftist riots roiling Democratic “governed” cities on—spoiler alert—President Trump and his “right-wing” supporters. Attempting to dispel any doubts about his newfound concern for the lives, limbs, and property of American citizens, Biden declared that rioters should be prosecuted. This must have surprised his running mate, Senator Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), who previously helped to fund the rioters’ bail; and the Democratic prosecutors who largely have refused to prosecute the rioters.

Joe Biden’s presidential campaign does not prescreen questions, the Daily Beast reported on July 1. He does not use a teleprompter to answer reporters’ questions, the Associated Press reported the very next day. One could certainly understand why an observer might suspect otherwise. (Snip)When Trump answers reporters’ questions, he calls on individual reporters himself. But not so for Biden or his campaign. Here you can see the candidate turning to his handler to start calling from a predetermined list of reporters, saying, “I guess . . . are you calling on people? I don’t have a list.”Joe!
