Joe Biden, who claims he wants to fact-check Donald Trump in real time during the presidential debates, told a real whopper on Thursday during his visit to Kenosha.
“People fear that’s, which, that which is different. We gotta, for example, why in God’s name don’t we teach history in history classes? A black man invented the light bulb, not a white guy named Edison.”(Snip for tweet) Fact check: False.
Make no mistake about it, Thomas Edison invented the light bulb. Joe Biden presumably was referring to Lewis H. Latimer, a former slave who worked as a researcher under Edison,

A Washington Post op-ed published Thursday suggested Americans should prepare for war if the election result is anything but a landslide for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. The op-ed, titled “What’s the worst that could happen?” is written by Rosa Brooks, a law professor at Georgetown University. In it, Brooks notes that the Transition Integrity Project, which she co-founded, “built a series of war games,” gathered participants “and asked them to imagine what they’d do in a range of election and transition scenarios.” “A landslide for Joe Biden resulted in a relatively orderly transfer of power. Every other scenario we looked at

As if 2020 were not insane enough already, we now have Democrats and their ruling class masters openly talking about staging a coup. You might have missed it, what with the riots, lockdowns and other daily mayhem we’re forced to endure in this, the most wretched year of my lifetime. But it’s happening.
It started with the military brass quietly indicating that the troops should not follow a presidential order. They were bolstered by many former generals—including President Trump’s own first Secretary of Defense—who stated openly what the brass would only hint at. Then, as nationwide riots really got rolling in early June, the sitting Secretary of Defense

There is new evidence supporting President Trump's public call for drug testing before the all-important presidential debates. (snip) As Joe Biden’s mental acuity seems to be declining rapidly, his ability seemingly to rise to the occasion when in a high-visibility public appearance does appear suspicious. Now comes something else suspicious: a bruise and swelling on Biden’s left hand right where an intravenous drip needle is customarily inserted when administering drugs (such as amphetamines).

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –A boy received a week’s suspension after a teacher spotted a toy gun during an online class, KDVR reports. On Aug. 27, 12-year-old Isaiah Elliot, a Grand Mountain student, was in his online art class when he allegedly flashed a toy gun across his computer screen. It was neon green and black with an orange tip. On the side were the words “Zombie Hunter.” According to the sheriff’s report, the teacher said she assumed it was a toy gun, not a real gun. When the principal found out, Isaiah was given a five-day suspension. The El Paso

The beginning of college football season also marked the return of ESPN’s “College GameDay” to the airwaves on Saturday. Though the crew wasn’t together on campus for a high-profile Week 1 game somewhere, it was a welcome sight for college football fans after a long, winding offseason. There was plenty of discussion about COVID-19 and how it has already affected the season, but the most notable portion of the broadcast was the heartfelt discussion about racial injustice in the United States. It was a discussion that saw Kirk Herbstreit overcome with emotion. Watch this: (Tweet) In recent weeks, college football

On Friday, the Trump campaign released a brutal ad savaging House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for getting a hair blow out at a salon in San Francisco without a wearing a mask and then having the audacity to claim she fell victim to a “set up” after getting caught.
Throughout the two-minute ad, Nancy Pelosi is constantly referred to as “Nancy Antoinette,” a reference to the French queen Marie Antoinette, who has (though falsely) been characterized throughout history as a superficial elitist that cared little for the people. “Let them eat cake,” she apocryphally said. Interspersed throughout are video and audio clips of Pelosi advising people to wear masks

A 60-year-old retired schoolteacher showed up to Kenosha's Civic Center Park on Thursday to serve as a one woman cheering squad for Joe Biden as he arrived in town - two days after President Trump's visit drew hundreds of supporters and protesters to the same downtown park. 'Maybe I'm in the wrong spot, I don't know,' Michelle Stauder told DailyMail.com just before a few Biden supporters walked over to join her. 'I hope to get it started.' She waved a Biden-Harris sign and sported a red, white and blue cowboy hat, blue hair, flags and Joe buttons she crafted for the occasion, saying: 'I made my signs and buttons,

Erica Kious is now getting threats against her life and her business for exposing the hypocrisy of Nancy Pelosi, who accuses the salon owner of a “setup” that caught her on camera getting her hair done indoors, against lockdown rules, and without wearing a mask, to boot.
Does Pelosi really expect people to believe she was ignorant of her city’s anti-COVID rules — and also the staffers who bird-dog the schedule of the speaker of the House?
No: Pelosi knew she was cheating. She just can’t admit she believes the rules don’t apply to her but only to those whose livelihoods they’re destroying.

Joe Biden’s campaign kicked off a round of questions with the candidate Friday by selecting an Atlantic reporter who asked him to comment on President Donald Trump’s “soul and the life he leads.” Biden, who rarely answers questions from the press, opened the floor to questions immediately after his remarks on the August jobs report, which showed the U.S. economy added 1.4 million jobs in August. He deferred to his staff to choose the reporters who would be allowed to ask questions. The first reporter was Edward-Isaac Dovere of The Atlantic.

Where do Portland Antifans rest during the day between riots at night? In a hidden tent city near downtown, paid for and serviced by the city, according to a local citizen journalist. After capturing the encampment on video, the reporter was chased for several blocks by two men, one with a slingshot. The camp is one of several under the auspices of the Joint Office of Homeless Services. “It is entirely funded by the city of Portland, with start-up costs priced at $214,097 and ongoing support for all three sites expected at $155,488 monthly,” said the Portland sleuth.
