The minute order filed by Judge Emmet Sullivan outlines a protracted time-frame for the next sequence of events in the case against Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn: (Image)As noted in the order, Sullivan is now telling the DOJ and Flynn defense to file a joint status report outlining their “recommendation for further proceedings” by September 21, 2020. From there a briefing schedule which will require both parties to respond to Sullivan’s personal amicus (Gleeson), and additionally respond jointly to any other amicus not ordered by the court. Lastly, Sullivan is requesting three dates for oral arguments.

Delay equals denial.
Gen Flynn must be attacked. Otherwise Obama might be in trouble.
This is a judicial game intended to defend Obama at all costs.
It is also a defense of the deep state. The corruption which led to the subversion of the Trump administration must not come to light. Flynn's acquittal will open a big can of worms.
that cannot be allowed to happen.

I hope Ms. Powell and the DOJ lawyers run this up to SCOTUS as soon as possible. Chances are they will defer to the DC Circuit but I'd take the chances.
Meanwhile, I hope the US Attorney in Missouri continues the drip-drip-drip-drip of documents. After all, the case is still active, right?
Don't know if it will happen in 2021 (hopefully not an issue until 2025), but I expect that President Trump will have to issue a blanket pardon to all political appointees to prevent Democrat show trials in the future like this one.

It’s time for judge Sullivan to go! He has corrupted the justice system be politicizing it. No citizen of the US is safe with judges like him around. Don’t think it can’t happen to you. He fits better in a communist system.

Can someone explain the reference to "non-Court appointed amicus curiae"? Sullivan appointed Gleeson but previously denied Flynn's efforts to do likewise.

Once this is over for Flynn I hope all of this judges previous trials are investigated for judicial corruption. Maybe they should start it now.

Sullivan is nothing but a low-life leftist political hack with power and, therefore, a danger to the republic and, obviously, to individuals he doesn't like and/or is told by leftist/dem leaders to punish. Very dangerous.

Since Gen Flynn was illegally entrapped by Comey’s FBI at Obama’s requests, with exculpatory documents intentionally withheld by Director Wray, why hasn’t AG Barr and his DoJ brought charges of obstruction of justice against Obama, Comey, Wray and others? Why hasn’t Judge Sullivan been questioned if he had any discussions with Obama about charging Flynn with perjury after the DoJ dropped all charges against Flynn in May?
While Gen Flynn twists in the wind months AFTER charges were dropped, AG Barr once again does little to ensure equal justice under the law if Obama, Clinton, Comey and dozens of others are involved. To paraphrase the vicious freaks of BLM, silence isn’t justice, AG Barr.

Oh yeah, and keeping all this tied up allows Comey and the his gang of thieves and coup plotters to hide and restructure assets so that when this is cleared up, and Gen. Flynn decides he wants to make someone pay for his suffering and distress, it will be harder for him to collect the large judgement he will win in the civil case of Flynn vs Comey, et al. Of course, Judge Sullivan is looking like he might be one of the defendants in this civil case as well.

It has to be obvious to Sullivan and this corrupt cabal that Pres. Trump would pardon Gen. Flynn if (heaven forbid) ObidenBama steals the election.
This has to be about keeping things hidden that we still don't know about.
These people are detestable.

The are writing their own laws, again, and getting away with it, like the California DA who has decided "need" determines if a looter gets prosecuted. The corruption is deep and widespread, and I fear we are all screwed. The Democrat/Marxists will steal the election in November and give us all the finger as they loot the country in earnest. After all, they *need* to be in power.

I hope to God that this ordeal is over soon for Gen. Flynn. Everybody knows this is the courts running amok and eventually Sullivan will run out of excuses. A silver lining for the rest of us will be a thorough examination of the process- a study hopefully requested by the DOJ- into judicial malfeasance, for that is what this exactly is. If judicial guidelines need to be updated, or revoked and replaced, and judges themselves recalled and disbarred, then so be it. I'm so tired of seeing the Left use the courts to circumvent the Constitution. No one judge should have the kind of power to do what Sullivan is doing. He is over the line, getting involved in Administrative policies where he has no business being. And, everyone knows EXACTLY what is going on. Its time to FIX IT ALREADY.

Paging Lindsay Graham. How about impeaching Judge Sullivan. Black or not - he is corrupt and dishonest and needs to be removed.

This is the bio of Democrat Judge Emmet Sullivan. It tells you everything necessary to understand about why he is treating Flynn in the shabby and illegal way that he is. You will see that Sullivan is indeed a product of his birth place, upbringing, environment and education.
Judge Emmet G. Sullivan was born in Washington, D.C., and attended public schools in the District of Columbia until his graduation from McKinley High School in 1964. In 1968, he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Howard University and, in 1971, a Juris Doctor Degree from the Howard University School of Law. Upon graduation from law school, Judge Sullivan was the recipient of a Reginald Heber Smith Fellowship and was assigned to the Neighborhood Legal Services Program in Washington, D.C. The following year, he served as a law clerk to Superior Court of the District of Columbia Judge James A. Washington, Jr., a former professor and Acting Dean of Howard University School of Law.

Somebody ask Chief Justice Roberts if he wants to reconsider his statement that there are no Obama/Democrat judges and no Trump/Republican judges. This is Exhibit A that indeed there are.

#2, I've been noticing, and commenting, how more information seems to keep coming out about how the whole thing happened, and who was involved, the longer this particular case remains open.
I'll be a whole bunch of people sure wish the original prosecutors sentenced Gen. Flynn a couple years ago when they had the chance.
Somehow they kept it open, which has allowed more and more exculpatory information to come out about the scheme.

As it stands today, anyone above moron status who has been paying attention has to figure that Sullivan has got his political marching orders from Barack Obama to slow walk the Flynn matter on past the November election along with a suggestion that Sullivan should think about instituting an additional charge of perjury against Flynn. With their latest “wink and a nod” opinion the Democrat dominated Circuit Court gave Sullivan a clear route to do as he wishes up to the time, this year or next, until he reaches a final decision after which they will finally review Sullivan’s decisions. Only after all that will the five liberals on the Supreme Court weigh in. Don’t be surprised if Sullivan eventually lodges the additional charge of perjury against Flynn that would essentially entail a complete new trial on that charge in Sullivan’s Court, as with his current legal representation there is no way that Flynn is going to plead guilty to that additional charge. That will mean a huge additional delay in finally resolving the Democrat criminal prosecution of Flynn.
Clearly Obama and the Biden-Harris ticket do not want Flynn out there with the criminal charge against Flynn dismissed before the election, able to tell his story as both Obama and Joseph Biden recognize that Flynn knows where a lot of the Obama-Biden Administration anti-American “bones” are buried relating to Iran and the Islamist endless Middle East Wars.

Daring Trump to issue the guy a pardon. They don't realize that you don't issue a dare like this to somebody who eats democrats for lunch, and breakfast and even dinner. This nonsense all started the week Obama made his gaffe on video. Sullivan took it upon himself to clean up Obama's mess, and continue to torture an innocent man named Flynn.

The DOJ should charge Judge Sullivan with obstruction of justice. Give him the 5:am raid like they did to Paul Manafort.

At the moment President Trump should stay out of the Flynn matter and allow the Democrat dominated federal courts now involved to ruin their reputations. As far as a Presidential pardon for Flynn is concerned, even in the unlikely event that Trump loses the election, he will still have until January 20, 2021 at Noon when he leaves office to pardon Flynn.

The Left needs to keep LtGen Flynn silent until after the election. That's why they're dragging out this ridiculous charade.

I say, he deserves a new trial because of prosecutorial misconduct. First witness for the defense. Jimmy Comey. Then Strozk, then Page, then Obama, then Biden. Let the games begin.
