This is not complicated. Last weekend, in the aftermath of the GOP Convention that ended with the spectacular events surrounding Pres. Trump’s acceptance speech, the Biden Campaign announced that he would be traveling on Monday to give a speech. There was a clear sentiment inside the campaign that Biden had to get out of his basement in Wilmington, Delaware, and give a campaign-style speech as a form of rebuttal to the speech given by Pres. Trump. After the events in Kenosha last week, there was only one possible topic – especially in light of the rampant media speculation

Kenosha, Pittsburg, it doesn't matter when Dementia Joe is lost in the fog of his melting brain. He doesn't even know he's in a basement.

#4 - Evers is the Governor in name only. He was 'elected' in two counties - Milwaukee and Madison and only after over 3,000 ballots were 'found' after it looked like Walker had won. His Chief of Staff and the Teachers Unions run Evers and, therefore, the state. Yes, he is as dopey as he looks. You should hear him speak..

President Trump celebrated the 75th anniversary of America’s “ultimate victory” in World War II on Wednesday, telling an audience in the battleground state of North Carolina that the sacrifices of yesteryear are now being sullied by left-wing mob violence in the U.S. “American warriors did not defeat fascism and oppression overseas only to watch our freedoms be trampled by violent mobs here at home,” Mr. Trump told an audience in Wilmington that included several World War II veterans. “We must teach our children that America is the land of heroes like you.” The president designated Wilmington as the nation’s first World War II “heritage city.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she was “set up” during her recent salon trip, which has sparked a wave of backlash from Republicans. “I take responsibility for taking the word of a neighborhood salon that I’ve been to many times. They said they were able to accommodate one person at a time…I trusted that,” Mrs. Pelosi said. “It turns out, it was a set up. Translation: The polling on riots must be getting brutal. Just days after criticizing Donald Trump for making a campaign stop in Kenosha after a controversial police shooting, Joe Biden’s campaign suddenly added a visit by their nominee. He’s going o “heal” the community, the campaign claims, but it certainly looks like Biden is playing follow the leader: Former Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, will visit Kenosha on Thursday as tensions simmer in the city following the shooting of a Black man by a white police officer and the deaths of two people protesting his shooting by an armed teenager. Biden’s visit to Wisconsin comes just two days

Sen. Ed Markey, who’s served the commonwealth on Capitol Hill for almost half a century, fended off the biggest primary fight of his congressional career on Tuesday, besting Rep. Joe Kennedy III after turning around a race that initially looked to swing in the young congressman’s favor. Just after 10 p.m., Kennedy staffers informed reporters that the congressman had called the senator and conceded. A spokesperson for Markey could not yet confirm the call, but the senator was set to address the media from the Malden Public Library at 11 p.m. As of 10:15 p.m., Markey garnered 54.8% of the vote compared to Kennedy’s 45.1%

Rasmussen Reports noticed

One of the most famous clues in a Sherlock Holmes mystery is what’s commonly referred to as “the dog that didn’t bark” or, as Holmes actually said, “The dog did nothing in the night-time.” Rasmussen Reports, which puts out a Daily Presidential Tracking Poll like clockwork, noticed that its competitors ceased barking (or, if you prefer, polling) after the two parties held their conventions. According to Rasmussen, which would know, this silence was unprecedented. Rasmussen published a series of tweets on Monday openly snarking at its competitors for their silence. Moreover, whoever is writing Rasmussen’s tweets was not shy about identifying a reason for the other polling outfits’ unusual reticence:

Joe Biden gave a speech in Pittsburgh on Monday. As we reported earlier, he tried to blame President Donald Trump for the riots violence despite the fact that it’s leftists behind the violence in Democratically-run cities who Trump has done everything to try to help. But there were some things beyond that that just screamed out for comment. So this apparently was Joe Biden’s audience, just media. There was no audience. Who exactly was he giving the speech to? That was bad enough. But the delivery of the speech showed the deep problems that the Democrats have with Biden.

My approach to politics is simple. Never take it too seriously. Yeah, I write ranting political content as a source of income, but I try to couch that in sarcasm and snark as often as I can to bring a little levity to the insanity that permeates from our political environment on a daily basis. That’s why I really enjoy The Babylon Bee, and while they typically put out quality content, they absolutely won the internet with their latest piece of satire. Joe Biden is in the Catch-22 of his political career, folks. If he stays in his basement, he faces the legitimate question of whether he’s fit — both physically and mentally — to assume the duties of the presidency. If he hits the campaign trail, he runs the risk of… Pittsburgh. The latter occurred on Monday, and it wasn’t a pretty sight. At all. Put another way, Joe had a very bad day in Pittsburgh. A really bad day.As my RedState colleague Nick Arama reported, Biden gave a speech in Pittsburgh on Monday that went far beyond simple gaffes and pregnant pauses. A performance that left little doubt.

A California district attorney is requiring her prosecutors to consider looters’ “needs” when weighing criminal charges against them. The new mandate, set forth by Contra Costa District Attorney Diane Becton, makes it tougher to prosecute looting cases in the county, which sits just outside San Francisco. Investigators must now consider “was this theft offense substantially motivated by the state of emergency, or simply a theft offense which occurred contemporaneously to the declared state of emergency?” according to the policy reported by local outlet East County Today. In making that determination, they must also consider five other factors, including “was the theft committed for financial gain or personal need?”

The former vice president’s campaign is expected to announce this week a record-breaking August haul of more than $300 million, according to a report from the New York Times. The fundraising – split between the Biden campaign, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and their shared committees – would appear to shatter the previous monthly record by a presidential campaign, which was set by then-Democratic nominee Barack Obama in September of 2008.
