President Donald Trump received an astonishing surge in black support during the Republican National Convention, a new poll has found.
The latest Hill-HarrisX poll, conducted August 22-25, shows 24 percent of registered black voters approve of President Trump, a jump of 9 points from the previous survey taken August 8-11.
Trump’s support from Hispanic voters also increased to 32 points, up from 30 points in the previous survey.
In 2016, Trump won the election with 8 percent of the black vote and 29 percent of the Hispanic vote.
The Republican National Convention prominently featured minority speakers challenging the narrative that minorities are “supposed to vote” for the Democrats.

In the last few weeks, an article about Joe Biden featured a picture of him and Robert Byrd. Why on earth any African American citizen would vote for him is beyond me. Then again it seems as if we are in an alternate universe right now with the Democrats and liberals.

I'm not reading too much into this. Any poll that uses registered voters rather than likely voters this late in the campaign needs to have a large grain of salt with it. Nevertheless, if these figures are correct, and if they hold up to Nov, you can stick a fork in Tactile Joe and the walking mattress.

My support for Black true Americans has surged following the RNC Convention speeches... sad that many have been taken in by the Democratic's lies over the years, but many Blacks and some "liberal" Whites are appearing to understand that we are under severe globalist/Marxist/Islamist attack. Are the violent "protestors" part of the Obama "Resist" movement? Who is paying for all this mayhem?

I seem to recall that Obama was “recruiting” an army for resistance against Trump. Does anyone recall that?

The key here is black women. Only 2% vote Republican vs about 20% black males. If the women's support reaches double digits no Democrat will be elected to State wide or higher office. There was no hope for the country club RINOs to do that. But PDT may just have pulled off the trick!

It would seem that a lot of black voters are smarter than the Democrats give them credit for being.
Perhaps these are the successful blacks that are not begging for Democrat handouts to buy their vote

About black women#6. If there were ever a group of people in America who should be angry it is black women. They are beaten and abandoned by their “baby daddies”, not provided for by their baby daddies”, used a a source of income by the same “men” etc. As soon as their “men” acquire any kind of wealth (by any means) They are cast aside for white women and bling. On and on...

#7, they are definitely out there. My future son in law is half black, went to college, started 2 successful business which never closed for a day due to Covid and he is as conservative as they come - has a Gadsden Flag license plate on his car and flies the American flag on his porch every day. Now, if he could only change his parents - they are still firmly entrenched on the demonrat plantation, though they too are self reliant.

Isn't everyone who gets a driver's license 'registered' already? Part of the plan.

If pressed to explain, #9, I would guess those future son in law parents' reasoning is they are "giving back" to The Community. They have to remember who they are, and from where they came. That's Community Rule #1.

The RNC Convention was the best convention from the Republicans ever. Perfection! The speakers all spoke with passion and humility. It was diverse and demonstrated the numerous accomplishments our President has achieve under a hostile Washington community ad press.
Who did the Democrats have? John Kasich, John Kerry, Bill and Hillary and of course Michele Obama who read a speech of falsehoods sitting in a chair and then her husband who looked grayed-out and puny spewing democrat talking points.
There was no comparison to the RNC. In fact the DNC looked like a JV team presentation. The Black community saw both. They saw Tim Scott, Kim Kalcik, Hershel Walker, Alice Johnson and many others. Our Black community has been treated like sheep for decades by Democrats and ignored by the Republicans. I predict the Republicans will receive a large majority of the Black vote this year because of President Trump. He is the ultimate role model for the Republican party who never tried to win the Black vote. This week he showed them ... this is how it's done.

My local Sunday paper published two views of the conventions. Of course, that would lead readers to assume that these would be two opposing views. But no!!!!
One view stated that the President and the somewhat motley assortment of speakers "struggled" to make the case for Trump's reelection but they fell short.
The other opinion piece explained why SloJoe didn't get a convention bump. The reason was that he is soooooo far ahead of the President in the polls that it would be difficult to improve on his present high approval rating. He also thought that SloJoe gave a masterful and forceful acceptance speech while President Trump's speech was hateful and full of fear. He is a professor at one of our local colleges so I'm sure he is passing this "knowledge" along to the kids he teaches.
I had a good laugh as I read this piece but sadly there are many readers who would believe this garbage.

You got to remember that Black folks just like most other Americans do not consider President Trump as being any sort of career politician, but a businessman, who does not speak in political, bureaucratic, or legalize English, but in plain (Queens vernacular) English that most Americans understand. Obviously a lot of career politicians, career bureaucrats, and the liberal Democrat supporting media have not yet figured that out.
Americans who have been paying attention since Trump was elected know that that when Trump says he intends to doing something to benefit American and American Workers, that as far as has been politically possible he has done what he said he was going to do, usually in the face of DC “UniParty” and “Deep State” bureaucratic resistance, while being fought all the way by the DC “insiders” who are usually beholden to the globalist investor class, that to increase their profits have sent, over many years, a huge amount of American manufacturing capabilities, and American jobs, to low wage countries, including countries adverse to US national interests such as Communist China.
Americans also recognize that Trump and his programs such as withdrawing the US military from endless foreign wars in the Middle East, his “Make America Great Again” and “Put American Workers First” are anathema to the globalist investor class, their supporters in the Congress, and much of the federal bureaucracy, outside the legitimate federal law enforcement entities. You can include the effective borderline barrier that Trump is building along the Southwest border to keep illegal aliens, illicit drugs, and other contraband out of the USA. Remember every time an employer hires a low wage illegal alien, that is another job that is denied to an American worker, and lowers the employer’s labor costs, factors that increase employer and investor class profits.

Weird. Yes, that is what I wrote. Stories are all around us about how Democrats are panicking about Joe Biden and the rioting in the streets. "It's affecting the poll numbers." they say.
I just saw a a story that claims Biden is still leading Trump by y6 points. In fact, the more Trump gains in support from Blacks, Latinos, union members, etc., the more the media keeps putting out poll numbers showing Biden holding his lead. It makes no sense at all - except that the polls must be purposely taken with push/pull questions.
How can we citizens believe anything that the news media is reporting?
