Portland's mayor, Ted Wheeler, has already made his city a punchline internationally, vacuously mouthing the platitudes of Black Lives Matter, and watching mobs riot and burn his city for 92 days straight, with no effort to contain it. Sorry, but I can't stop laughing. Next they will probably start helping themselves to anything of value they can take, and then destroy the rest.

Ted has allowed the destruction of the city he took an oath to serve and protect because he wants the approval of these feral animals so badly that they now perceive him, and correctly so, as weak and easily controlled. They know they will face no consequences for whatever they do, so their violence will escalate. Ted is a pitiful fool. I don’t feel the least bit sorry for him. He’s been complicit in the destruction of Portland.

Better yet, now that they are all chained together, lock the doors and set the place on fire like they have tried to do several times. Since they all claim to be rioting out of hunger, Portland restaurants can add Roast Antifa and Rack of BLM to their menus. I guess Blackened Looter with a side of White Rice would be a bit too racist, eh?

Charlie Hales must be thrilled like Jimmy Carter is about Obama. Hales is now no longer the worst mayor Portland ever elected. Teddy Wheeler is. It is to the point that Trump doesn't need to wait to set things right. Because he isn't the type to let citizens of a city beset by elected idiots and rioters dangle for long. At least I hope he isn't.

On August 27th, prosecutors in Kenosha County filed six charges against Kyle Rittenhouse (snip) The defense against Counts 1 to 5 will be Wisconsin’s broad self-defense laws. The riotous outbursts sparking across American cities are a shot of epinephrine on the Trump campaign. (snip) Bided issued what any generous reading would regard as a threat: "Does anyone believe there will be less violence in America if Donald Trump is re-elected?" The not so tacit promise seems to be that the country will experience more, if not continued, mayhem should Trump win four more years. Without the Wuhan virus, the Democrats have no meaningful opposition to Trump. Not only have the Democrats weaponized the Wuhan virus to destroy the economies under their aegis, but they’ve also repeatedly claimed that Trump killed 161,000 Americans. However, new CDC data shows that, of those Americans who died in the past seven months, only 6% died from the virus alone. The other 94% had serious comorbidities that (sadly) put them at a higher risk of death from anything that came along – and certainly from having sick people funneled into their nursing homes.

One of the things that conservatives noted approvingly was the way that the Republican National Convention reached out to blacks. Currently, 24% of registered black voters approve of what he’s doing. Meanwhile, Hispanic voters have also increased their approval by 2% over August, from 30% to 32%. The children reasonably could be believed to be at risk in a vehicle fleeing arrest.

A federal appeals court ruled Monday against Michael Flynn and the Justice Department in their request to quickly shut down his criminal case. The 8-2 decision restores power to a judge to question the Justice Department's moves in the politically divisive case, when Attorney General William Barr dropped charges against President Donald Trump's former national security adviser earlier this year despite twice pleading guilty to lying under oath to lying to the FBI. Flynn had fought District Judge Emmet Sullivan's decision to ask a third-party lawyer to argue against the Justice Department's dismissal in the case, and his plans to hold a hearing, which has not yet happened.
