In most cases, prediction in politics is a mug’s game. Maybe that is why it is such a popular game. I forbear to speculate. (Snip)Many commentators (including myself) have dilated on the striking difference in tone between the two conventions: according to the Democrats, America is steeped in ‘systemic racism’ and the ideology of ‘white supremacism’. (Snip)The Republicans, by contrast, presented America as a land of hope. Its guiding themes were promise, opportunity, heroes and national greatness. The Dems invite us to wallow in rancorous resentment, feeling good by feeling bad, while the Republicans celebrated the ‘better angels of our nature’ (Lincoln again), embracing life, prosperity, second-chances, and forgiveness.

A really good commentary. Well reasoned, well written.
And I think that the President and his team have laid out a compelling case for hope and renewal in America, not hate, riot and arson.

One big factor is that Biden has never had to campaign hard. Delaware is the second smallest state, and most voters are within 30 miles of Wilmington. As VP, Biden was second fiddle and never scrutinized very much. Now, nearing age 80, he must campaign hard but is in no hurry to hit the trail. Democrat voters will not be enthused to have him at the top of their ticket.

My strong confidence that the democrats will cheat weakens my confidence that Trump will win. (Remember the clear House wins in California that overnight became losses and resulted in democrat takeover of the House?) Will democrats cheat? Of course. Are Republicans FULLY prepared? I doubt it.

Today, my local paper placed an opinion piece on the front page which indicated that the RNC was pushing FEAR of the future during its convention. Leads me to wonder who's "fearful".
I expect the media's hair to be on fire for the next 60 days.
Next up: Chicken Little

Interesting that here we are two days after the convention and still no new polls have been released? Are they waiting to release them for the Sunday morning news shows? Or are they going to bury them because the results show Trump with a yuge bounce. Maybe the figure the will have to “recalibrate “ their polls to fit the Biden is running away with it narrative.

The speakers at the RNC convention (a cross section of We The People) shone an unforgettable light of truth that clearly exposed the lies told about Donald Trump for the past four years. They did it by simply and sincerely telling their personal experiences and how PDJT made a difference in their lives. That was moving to those of us who already knew the real Donald Trump through some of their stories. I can only imagine the immediate impact it had on those who had never heard and had no idea of very much about him, other than the incessant barrage of misinformation and lies from Democrats in government and news media. It will not be easily forgotten, and it has to make them question whether what they are being told by those sources is true - especially within the next two months.
As an aside, I love that gorgeous picture of our First Couple! Looks like love to me, regardless of what is said in the comments and/or “tell all” books of estranged family members, former friends, or current haters.

I LOVED the Lincoln quote that Ben Carson used. The dems are saying "We will win or we will tear everything down". They are trying to intimidate the American People and the People are awakening to the fact that the dems are just THUGS.
"The Democrats own the anarchy they have unleashed and abetted. People almost never embrace anarchy." Yes, and the dems are starting to recognize that ownership and the extreme cost of it. They also own their infiltration and acceptance by the Leftist socialists. The people also KNOW that Trump built an amazing economy and they have faith he can rebuild after the virus is tamed. BO/Biden dealt up a stagnant economy for 8 years and the people KNOW that as well. They KNOW that Trump wiped out ISIS and that BO was getting his lunch stolen by them. For voters working with a brain, they KNOW that Trump is the far superior choice, even though they may have been lifelong dems.

Who remembers this Trump ad from 2016?
It is real, no trickery other than not showing the whole speech. He said what is shown, and it was a very powerful ad for the President in 2016, and even more powerful now, since more folks know that Trump did it, and MEANS it.
Enjoy.
