Waking the Sleeping Giant

In recent weeks, not only have we seen some very large holes punched in the narrative of what happened to George Floyd, but we’ve also seen the very thin veil come off, as the “peaceful protests” by Black Lives Matter and Antifa rapidly devolved into perhaps the worst string of violent riots the country has ever seen. (snip) We are finally starting to see a pushback by John Q. Public; and I believe we’ll see more as the weeks and months go by. The “woke” forces of Antifa and Black Lives Matter -- mostly overindulged, pampered, underparented, overeducated and spoiled children -- are on the verge of a rude awakening.

These brainwashed anarchists are not “overeducated,” they’re MIS-educated! They went into our once-vaunted institutes of learning, having empty skulls and coming out with those same skulls filled with brown Marxist offal.

There are 5 million Americans who are NEW gun owners since 2020. The push back has JUST begun. I do not want anyone hurt BUT BLM and ANTIFA do not obey the rules on "peaceful protests". At some point "the people" are gonna fight back. Bet they will be surprised. https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/five-million-americans-became-first-time-gun-owners-in-2020/

American patriots, when left alone, are kind and generous people. But when threatened they can become "massive, swift and brutal." During World War II the Japanese woke a sleeping giant to their great dismay. American Marxists should take notice.

I saw the video of the AntiFa/BLM protester pointing a pistol at a reporter and pulling the trigger. The fact that it didn't fire was good luck for the reporter, but when it clicked and didn't fire, said protester became fair game. The current videos show a lot of protesters with 'assault weapons', so it's apparent that they mean harm and should know the consequences of their actions. It's coming, we just don't know when.

Beware. Awaking the Sleeping Giant is not good. Perhaps studying what happened to (and was accurately predicted by) Admiral Yamamoto of the Imperial Japanese Navy might be instructive. But, these punks don't know any history at all.

Who knew that looters had their own food trucks? Who would have guessed that Antifa had its own soup kitchen to come to after working up an appetite after a hard day's rioting? Turns out they did, and when they headed out to Kenosha, Wisconsin, the cops shut them down. Here's the weepy Washington Post report: A Seattle-based nonprofit group that serves food to protesters said Thursday that several of its members were still in police custody in Kenosha, Wis., after law enforcement officers sprang from unmarked cars and arrested them

As I began writing tonight, I had a lot of tabs open. Shall I write about the racist attack The Nation launched against black Trump supporters? Or should I write about Nancy Pelosi’s suddenly announcing that Biden shouldn’t demean himself by debating Trump? (snip) As I contemplated three or four separate posts, one for each question, I realized that they are all actually the same post: Democrats are realizing that Biden’s early poll numbers were misleading and that Trump may well win. Some respond like trapped rats with viciousness or frantic manipulations. Others, though, are feeling something akin to relief.

What planet does Joe Biden live on? In his campaign for president, he's promised more lockdowns if the "experts" tell him to do it, maybe permanent lockdown, lockdown as a lifestyle, which means shutting down the entire country. It's bizarre stuff given that it's already been done, with plenty of unintended consequences. It's a supposed leadership redo of President Trump's supposedly bad leadership on COVID. This, according to Joe, is how one really does it, so rewind the reel to March 2020 and let him start the lockdowns from there as if nothing had at all changed (snip) the call of someone still living in March 2020, embedded in amber

he second night of the Republican convention has come and gone (and very successfully too) but what should live forever is the article the New York Times wrote about the line-up of speakers for the evening. It is a triumph of misdirection and fraud by omission. It may well be the most perfect example ever of how the media functions, not to inform, but to mislead. The article, entitled “How to Watch the Republican National Convention,” gives practical advice about how to find the convention on the internet and television. On August 20th, President Trump’s former Chief Strategist Steve Bannon was arrested on fraud charges relating to the “We Build the Wall” construction project on the U.S.-Mexico border. Brian Kolfage, a triple amputee veteran and Purple Heart recipient, used a crowdfunding website as part of a political gag aimed at raising $1 billion dollars to construct a U.S.-Mexico border wall. After unexpectedly raising $17 million dollars within the first week, Kolfage decided to hand off the suddenly real and ambitious initiative to someone with more experience, connections, and resources. It is sometimes underappreciated how new professional sports is as a dominant cultural phenomenon. For the vast majority of human history, sports has been overwhelmingly played by amateurs. And even in America, it is only in the past fifty years that this professionalized version of sport became a route to wealth. Baseball, which has the longest professional sports history in the United States, illustrates this: the average MLB salary is up an inflation-adjusted 3,000 percent since the late 1960s. Professional sports only became big money in the era of television, as a form of mass entertainment
