Yes, they want a bloody revolution, and in Portland, the dress rehearsal is underway. Downtown has been sacked, and the revolutionaries have taken to the streets of residential neighborhoods, terrifying residents. The message is clear: police cannot protect you, so shut up and let the new powers-that-be run things. Yesterday, the Portland Police Bureau seemed to confirm that message, that they are powerless to stop the revolution. At RedState, Shipwreckedcrew wrote about the absence of police in a violent clash between Antifa/BLM forces and "Back the Blue" forces, said to include The Proud Boys.

When a city gets so infested by lie-beral Demon-Rats and their destructive policies, sadly the best thing the police can do is stand by and let them burn it to the ground. It clearly cannot be saved as is. It must be fully destroyed before a new and better city can be built in it's place. Of course, it won't fully happen. There just isn't time. Come November 5th, George Soros turns off the funding, and all the Antifa vermin will slither back to their mommy's basements to play video games until they are needed again...

Since your elected officials do not have the stomach to stop the violence with their police forces it is left up to the individual to protect himself. Which will only proliferate the violence. It will get ugly real quick. Lock and load Portland. Everybody else keep your powder dry - looks more and more like you'll need it.

#2, the Portland police are ordered by their boss, the Mayor, to stand down. And, sure, they can disobey the Mayor, (once) and be unemployed the next day which serves neither the officer's personal interest of getting paid, or the non-violent citizen's interest of being protected from the crazies. I would bet that a large portion of the Portland police officers are trying to sell their homes and locate a job elsewhere, but staying employed to fund their upcoming move. I'll bet that by this time next year, half or more of the Portland PD officers will live and work elsewhere.

I am all for it, as long as Americans are pulling the lever! Let's confiscate it, replicate it and ship them out all over the nation. One in every town square will do nicely. I want to see them running 24/7/365 until the scourge of Democrat in every stripe and incarnation is ripped out of this nation and the mere thought of espousing their notions make the individual's bowels turn to water. Yes we are at that point and high time too. The Tree of Liberty needs to have her thirst quenched for she is mighty thirsty. It is not for the faint of heart.

The problem really don't the Democrats. It's the Lilly livered Republicans who won't stand up and defend the country. This nonsense goes on and they just sit there eon their hands. So worried are they that Chunk Turd might say something bad about them on CNN, or that the Chamber of Crony Capitalist Commerce might be mad and tighten the purse strings, they do nothing. Why should the Republicans defend those cities? The people voted the democrats in, so let them live with it. It seems the Proud Boys are willing to stand up, but why should they protect those who allow this stuff to happen? Just maybe the people who voted the mayors in will finally get up the gumption to defend themselves.

The 'justice vacuum' created by these various mayors with their police ordered to stand down, and prosecutors who will not prosecute will eventually be filled. The question is "By what?" In the old west they called themselves Committees of Vigilance, formed to be vigilant against criminals. Some were pretty near to a normal court and judge, others were pretty much just lynch mobs. Those cities shouldn't leave this vacuum, they probably will not like what will fill it. You have exactly as much security as you brought with you.

There are neighboring communities of Portland that are accepting LATERAL transfers from other police departments. I would bet many of those Portland offices will be going elsewhere soon.

According to the Preamble of our Constitution, one of the purposes for establishing our Constitutional Republic was to insure domestic tranquility: “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” The dictionary defines Tranquility as a peaceful, calm state, without noise, violence, worry, etc. It is only late August 2020 and there must be a certain level of desperation

As wise stewards of the land, North America's Indians routinely started forest fires. They wanted grazing grounds for the animals they hunted and open spaces to live and hunt on. So before Columbus arrived, there was a lot less forested land than we have today. The Europeans put an end to the Indian fires, and for centuries, they harvested the forests for timber. But that has ended in many parts of the country, California in particular. After the 1906 earthquake, San Francisco was rebuilt using lumber from the Santa Cruz forest, just south of the city. But I don't believe it's been harvested since.

A story ripped through the conservative blogosphere on Friday: Two young women stole and destroyed anti-Biden signs, stole and threw away a MAGA hat that a young boy was holding, verbally abused the young boy, and then threw punches at the people trying to recover their property. New information about the event emerged on Saturday, and it revealed that the women were even worse than we thought. However, it also shows that conservatives are fighting back. A Florida woman shot and killed a man who returned to her home after an argument early Saturday and tried to use a tire iron to smash his way inside, authorities said.
