Democrats are more divided than they appear according to numbers released by the Democratic National Committee following their nominating convention last week.Fox News reports that of the 5,000 delegates that voted on the party’s platform, widely recognized as the most progressive Democratic Party platform in years, more than a thousand delegates — around 25% of all attendees — voted against the decision to approve the party’s official policies. The situation reveals a breakdown in the party that could cost the Democrats in the coming years and indicates a vast difference between the “moderate” Democratic party,

If 3 Republicans voted against their platform, it would be plastered all over the MSM.
But 25% of the Demon-Rats vote against theirs, and we have to hear about it from some obscure blog.
Yeah, when the MSM is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Demon-Rat National Politburo, what else would you expect?!?!?!?

While some pretend to believe there are moderates, and maybe even conservative Democrats, there certainly aren't any in elected office any longer.
There may be some moderates or conservatives left in many communities, clinging to the old type of politician, or the one who says whatever they need to hear, but votes for the liberal/progressive agenda when it counts.
GOP needs to really press this point, IMO, to help bring those "Reagan Democrats" over to the Republican side in this election.

I suspect that a lot of older, blue-collar Country Class Democrats are figuring out what happened to their party. Not unlike how the Never Trump elected and pundit p-ants and the Deep State Trump exposed helped Republicans to figure out ours.

#3 makes a good point. A good many who voted against were probably some of Bernie’s Bolsheviks who didn’t think the platform was sufficiently Marxist enough.

Hmmm. And what percentage of Dem will vote "No" on Senile Joe and either stay home or vote Trump?

And my question is: how many of these refuseniks voted down the platform because it wasn't extreme enough?

Is this the beginning of the end? Is it possible that the yellow-dog democrats now have a clue? Think about it. If 10% of the traditional 40% of hardcore no doubt about it vote Democrats have second thoughts? Well, Nellie!

If the Democrats conclude that they have swung too far left and drew down their chances of Biden-Harris being elected, You will know pretty quickly, as all of a sudden Biden’s campaign videos will start mimicking what the Trump Administration has already been doing and what they intend to do in the future, with Biden falsely claiming that he will always do it better than Trump.
But there is no proof of that in Biden’s past. As Biden has been a DC liberal Democrat UniParty lawyer-politician for over 47 years with no real accomplishments. Biden used to tout that he passed federal laws that put a lot of crack dealers and other criminals in prison, but now Biden has changed his position and says that he will change all that, even will stop putting criminals in prison because of claims of systemic racism throughout the law enforcement and criminal justice systems. Biden was also the prime perpetrator of the last big attempted lynching of a Black man in DC, when, with Ted Kennedy, he presided over the bogus political attacks on Clarance Thomas in the Democrat attempt to keep Thomas off the US Supreme Court, of course Biden lost that bogus inquisition and Clarance Thomas is still on the court.
It’s obvious that Biden is suffering from age related declining cognitive abilities and no doubt has other unreported physical disabilities that can be detected by just watching Biden as he moves around, it that respect Biden said that he intends to serve two four years terms as President after he is elected, no way!

Even if Biden wasn't losing his mind, don't forget he has this embarrassing history of plagiarism, which could well resurface mimicking President Trump's policies., in fact it may already be bubbling to the surface.

#’s 9 and 10, he already did that - in his convention acceptance speech - he said that he would bring drug manufacturing back from China and he would bring back the economy. Two thing PDT started doing in January 2017.

If you add the number who voted no, 1069,+ abstains 87= 1156, you have 32%, almost a third not in favor of the platform. Yet, they march on believing they represent their party. When will the libs in the major cities like NYC see they cannot open for dining or business and either move or close their doors and just expect government to support them?? For a sneak preview on how that ends up, head to Venezuela and see the final product of government "taking care" of you.

But I was told by Chris Wallace that the single most important thing he learned last week was how united the Democrats are.

The Left would actually benefit from a Biden loss. Dems would most likely suffer heavy losses in a 2022 midterm election if Biden were in office. And he will be a weak incumbent. Then Biden would be waffling over running again in 2024, messing up their own pet candidates' plans. A Biden loss would clear the way for a full-throated, top-to-bottom, left-wing take over of the Democrat party.

I go with the idea it's punks on the far far left who didn't think it was communist radical enough and not moderate middle democrats. Sane democrats don't exist because by now they would have left the party of projection not progressiveness. Next election they will be full blown communist and all AOC and Bernie Sanders types. The face of the party when Pelosi and Hoya kicks off will be AOC and the squad count on it.

Well, but we have the one hundred percent number because Trump and all Trump voters are enemies of the state per Nancy. I had no idea I had gone from mere deplorable directly to enemy of the state in less than four years. Must be the Walmart smell.
Twenty five percent of the Marxists voting no on the Marxist platform makes ZERO difference since all twenty five percent will still vote for their Marxists. If they were Republicans voting no on the GOP platform, THEY would vote for the Marxists.

How many of these delegates were of that vanishing species, a true democrat "moderate". They can't be too happy with the leftward lurch of the party in the last few years.

I believe it,
If you look around, talk to people, see the news, watch the news, you certainly see that there is NO enthusiasm for Biden. Democrats almost have to choke it down, and there are very few Biden signs and posters.
What the Democrats do have is hate for Donald Trump, TDS, and greed to cash in on the spoils.
And that isn't enough to motivate an electorate.
Trump will carry 40 states

The good thing is that Fingers and the Indian-Canadian Chief Serta have taken off their Bolshevik masks. It will be Marxism for all or nothing. They worked the Cultural Marxist Revolution gradually but now they are all in. God sent us President Trump the Great to defend US in battle, yet we must do our part too. Donate!

fta: The DNC revealed over the weekend that 3,562 delegates voted to approve the platform, while a total of 1,069 voted no, and 87 abstained,” Fox reported. “The number of convention delegates who voted no is roughly the same as the number of delegates pledged to progressive Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont. The populist lawmaker and ‘Medicare-for-all’ champion was the last remaining rival to Democratic nominee Joe Biden in the primaries before suspending his White House bid and endorsing the former vice president in April.”
So it's just the Bernie/AOC/Antifa/BLM Commie extremists that voted no. There is no more representation of what once was a moderate patriotic Democrat. The Democrat Party is socialist or communist only. All others need not apply.

Joe Biden is a pathological liar.
Kamala Harris is not an American.
She sounds like a hyena.
If Biden and Harris ate elected, will they send us DEPLORABLES to Gulags in the desert?
In 1942, FDR and his DemocRATS shipped 120,000 Japanese Americans to re-locations camps.
Nobody said a word.

Did the thousand delegates that voted against the platform want the platform to be less Marxist in nature, or more Marxist in nature.

I don’t know #4, I think #3 is closer to the mark. I have older farmer neighbors who despise Trump and are all in on bite me joe. They are the most wonderful people but die hard ‘rsts. I had a farmer uncle who was the same way. I just do not understand....maybe years of soybean dust have addled their brains.
