After spending the bulk of his lieutenant governorship waging war against California's last remaining nuclear power plant, Gov. Gavin Newsom is begging residents to turn up their thermostats as the state battles excruciating heat waves, roaring wildfires, and now, state-sanctioned blackouts to preserve its worst-in-America power grid.
California's power is not as carbon-efficient as clean nuclear energy, nor is it as cheap as traditional mass fossil fuels. If you're looking to drink your problems away at your favorite dive bar, too bad; Newsom shut the indoor dining rooms. If you want to sit on a patio, you have to seek out the establishments that survived the state's shutdown.

Excellent description of a gray, Moscow-esque America. (It’s hard to write those words) if any DimComm gets in the WH, or they manage to take the Senate.
But this, “ President Trump has rightly been derided for lacking a second-term agenda, ...” was uncalled for.
(1) why would the President give ANY ammunition to the DimComms to develop talking points against him?
And speaking of against him,
(2) perhaps his main agenda is just staying upright in their continuous attacks of slander, lies, and hatred.
Nevertheless, the picture she paints of Kalifornia as a blueprint for the country is chilling and frightening.
Who will be America when they’re completed their transformation?

They won't have to turn up their thermostats. With the new wi fi electronics. Kalifornia power companies will do it for them.

Really, Tiana? PDT’s second term agenda is the same as his first. He made America great and he will do it again by overcoming the ravages of the panicdemic. It’s already happening - stock market back on top this week.
As to California, I lived under those conditions in Ceausescu’s Romania for 3 years and that’s one of the reasons that I now live in a ruby red state.

Let's not forget, Kalifornia has also given us Nasty Pelosi, Mad Maxine, Schifforbrains, Feinstein and Mattressback Harris! We have also had to live with their rediculous product restrictions, that have filtered out into normal America.

FTA: There’s a reason for the Democrats hide-the-agenda campaign. They know it’s too out of the mainstream for most Americans to stomach. They know that proposing massive tax hikes, a job-destroying $15 minimum wage, “universal” health care, pie-in-the-sky “clean energy” schemes, and fantastically expensive employer mandates, while coddling defund-the-police Marxists, won’t help Biden’s cause.
Their campaign strategy is to have BIden stay in the basement and hide their agenda thinking that Trump Derangement Syndrome will be strong enough to win the election.

Yup, Calif big cities are almost as bad as Portland, Seattle, NYC, Minneapolis, Austin, Detroit, et al. Live in any big city, that is Socialist by design, and you will be a sheep or just plain miserable. My wife and I live in a town of 1,100 folk. We have one grocery store. One bank. One cafe. One self serve gas station. One Dr and one Dentist. No local police with the closest 65 miles away. One HS. One elementary school. One bar. No mayor. No local board of any kind. My God, how do we survive? We have seven churches. We have numerous streams and one big river, full of steelhead as I type. Numerous swimming holes. Numerous trails. Clean air and blue skies. No stop lights, not even one. No protests. No murders. No COVID. Ok, enough. So folks, this is also California. We chose not to live for money and fancy houses and cars. We chose to live for God and family and blessed friends. It is a choice you all can make. Ya all have a great and blessed day.

Why this, "President Trump has rightly been derided for lacking a second-term agenda". Is this person clueless. Just look at what President has done both domestically and with his foreign policy. Contrast that to the democratic communist agenda and you're talking communism against freedom. A very clear choice.

Californians are poised to reelect the same politicians who have consistently cause the most problems. The Crats have a super majority in Sacramento and nothing will change come November. People would rather suffer with who they know rather than vote for someone who might actually do something to improve their daily life. Do I sound cynical? You bet. What I want most from govt is for it to stay out of my way and leave me alone.
