On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Attorney General William Barr said that, on Friday, there will be a development in U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation. Barr stated that the development is “not an earth-shattering development, but it is an indication that things are moving along at the proper pace, as dictated by the facts in this investigation.” Barr also vowed that there will be “significant developments” in the Durham probe prior to the 2020 election and maintained that the investigation is not being done on any schedule that relates to the election.Barr said, “I’ve said, there are going to be developments, significant developments

From what he said, not anything very big. I won't be holding my breath.
I want about 3 dozen CIA, FBI and DoJ folks in prison. Anything less will be a disappointment, and miscarriage of justice.

I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for a status report. Nothing super detailed, but just so we know people are working.

The development will be that additional details are being investigated which may move the report to somewhere in the mid 2040's.

The "development" will be that Durham dropped his investigation.

The development will be that in order to protect their buddies, this will be dragged out till they either die of old age, the statute of limitations kicks in, or people lose interest.

The Phantom Piper blows another dreary tune. There will be prosecutions right after Chiang Kai-Shek takes mainland China. And the Cubs win the World Series. OOPS, that actually happened, but was only improbable, not impossible. It's sad to have practically zero faith in our Departure of Justice. 'proper pace', 'facts of the investigation'. Weasel words worth of Bubba Klintoon.

Yeah hi, my name's Michael Flynn and my pals here with me are George Papadopoulos, Roger Stone and Carter Page. They have mortgages with you too. Yeah, so although the FBI made us penniless and we have all the evidence to prove it, Barr said there'd be "developments" on his investigation against the felons who illegally destroyed our lives, so could you take the fact that he'll have "developments" this Friday as a mortgage payment from all of us?
What? No, you won't? We'll all have our homes foreclosed and you can't use the promise of Barr's "developments" as payment? Okay, well thanks for listening.

Clearly, this whole fiasco has caused us to become cynics. Can you blame us? Hubby and I have a bet going on whether or not this investigation will lead to anything like justice being served. My chances aren’t looking very impressive. Come on, Ralphie, pull one out for the good guys. Be a real American hero! Prove to use that justice is alive and well in this country. We deserve better than we are getting. Make this right!

And so, we have Durham's probe lumbering along (there once was someone named Huber who did nothing at all but collect his salary - lucky him in times like these); and gangstas crashing and burning through Portland and Chicago and wherever; and someone named, Cannon, I believe, who is a SOCCER STAR, who took umbrage when fans who love this country shouted USA, USA, when players took a knee during the National Anthem. Everything and anything goes in the good ol' USA - so that when a five-year-old white boy riding his bike gets shot in the head by his black next-door neighbor because the child crossed his killer's property line, it gets nary a peep from the mainstream media (or from our Hollywood STARS) because it does not fit the narrative of black lives matter. There's something wrong with these pictures. The old used to envy the young, and now it is the other way around.

Riddle me this , Batman :
...Flynn, Manafort, and Stone have all been arrested...prosecuted...and were going to jail...in a matter of months...for phony "made -up" petty crimes.... executed by the Party NOT in power ..??!!!
..meanwhile...EVERYONE can see that we have had an ATTEMPTED COUP !! ....we KNOW who the culprits are...and the Republicans control the White House...The Senate...and ( in theory) The DOJ...and FBI....
...and yet...in 3.5 years....NOT ONE arrest has been made...??!!!
W.....T....F....???!!!

10 years ago there was dark humor that there is so much corruption inside the beltway we would need to convert Washington National Stadium to hold them all. Now we know 46,000 seats isn't enough.

"...Barr also vowed that there will be “significant developments” in the Durham probe prior to the 2020 election..." And seconds later said that there would be charges if the misdeeds can be proven "beyond a reasonable doubt." Lindsay Graham in questioning Sally Yates asked her if you knew then what you know now would you have signed to renew the FISA court application. She said "no."
There you have it. IMHO, everyone's got a 'get out of jail free' card. The reasons: like Hillary: "they broke the law but they didn't mean it - no malicious intent" or, "charges/involvement can not be proven beyond reasonable doubt." I hope no one skates. But, I won't be surprised if they do.

They lie
They encourage a hostile takeover
They loot
They riot
They mismanage
They misappropriate
They over-regulate
They steal
They conspire
But we “develop” ?
Our skepticism is justified
The swamp is rigged and we know it

Don't mean to be sacrilegious, but if there is safety in this judicial issue, it will be standing beside President Trump. Pres. Trump said it could only go one way OR the other. So mote it be. If this gets dropped, I will consider us doomed.

As Ldotter 21 said, WTF?
This is what happens when one side in the war throws out all rules and tries to eviscerate their enemy by Any Means Necessary while the other side in the war plays by the Marquis of Queensbury Rules. Time to throw out the rules, boys and girls.

The news was good, and it's a former FBI lawyer, Clinesmith, who pleads guilty to altering a document from the CIA.
So, as a 38 year-old he will be disbarred as a result of this felony.
What was also stipulated in the filing today was that in August 2016, the FBI was told by the CIA that Carter Page was an operational asset. People outed a CIA operative, regardless.
Thus, they KNEW prior to the first FISA warrant in October 2016 they were lying to the Court, and lied 3 more times.
But, that the FBI and the CIA also were well versed on the scheme, and ignored everything likely because they were all already in deep, and had to keep pushing the story in hopes something would help them.
