If you’ve kept half an eye on the ‘who will it be?’ story that is the Democratic party’s vice-presidential nomination, you’ll have heard commentators suggesting that Biden will pick a ‘do no harm’ candidate.
In other words, Biden should play it safe: given his lead in the polls, he can only slip up, so boring is better than original; boring is better than exciting; uninspiring beats edgy. Do no harm — it’s become journalistic shorthand for boring.
The trouble is, there is no such thing as a harmless Veep pick

"...given his lead in the polls..." What a crock. Lefties are so delusional.

Oh yes there is a "do no harm" VP pick but it's "do no harm" to the deep state. Susan Rice is GOING TO be the VP pick. The deep state is not committing enough crimes right now. They're only at the 2018 pace. They must be accelerated to take out talk radio, 2A, 4A and the rest of the Bill of Rights and they will with her help. She'll also make it a crime to investigate deep state crimes and certainly all of her crimes.

Bottom line - there’s no such thing as a “do no harm” demonrat. Even the ignorant “I vote democrat because my family always votes democrat” who pays no attention to the news is doing harm. Even if they are too ignorant to know it.

Biden has already picked his VP running mate. He just can't remember who it is...

Biden is a "Do maximum harm" candidate for POTUS. If Susan Rice is partnered with him, "Benghazi" will be the only campaign sign we need to display.

Mooch is obvious and I have said that for as long as Biden has been in the contest. But I lately think she won't do it. Not because she is lazy but for the same reason Joe's delaying his announcement. NOBODY WANTS IT EXCEPT STACY ABRAMS. To play second fiddle to a demented old white guy is not a resume enhancement for a black woman. It's political suicide. It puts you in the same desperate category as Stacy Abrams. Joe should concede now to save Americans from COVID voting booths.

Trump has so many weapons to choose from. It could be the silent black minority, the silent white majority, the silent brown minority (think the Goya buy-cot
It could be Joe's dementia. It could even be Joe's choice of VP ( if he ever makes a pick). As a back-sliding Catholic Joe could pick Jesus himself or black Jesus... aka Mooch Obama or even the wannabee Governor of Georgia... Stacey Abrams.
My point is it does not matter to the "orange man" Trump because he will still be the next president of the USA.

The problem is at the top of the ticket. Biden is a bad joke and shouldn't be there. Name one thing Biden has done to put his own personal stamp on his presidential run. There isn't anything. He is shiftless, going where the political winds blow him. He said he would defund the police. That only became an issue recently. With Biden, there is a huge void when it comes to direction. He has no vision.
A VP is suppose to support the president. What is there for any VP to support with regard to Biden? A VP is suppose to be a non-factor. A VP cannot put their own personal stamp on the run. They would eclipse the presidential candidate. Its suppose to be the other way around, and the Presidential candidate eclipses the VP.
Since Biden stands for nothing, there are people shouting at him telling him what to do. Hence, a black female VP is now a requirement. Who is going to be setting the direction in a Biden presidency? Guarantee it won't be him.

None of the democrat possibilities, black or white, have done anything for black people. The black silent majority was deeply disappointed by Obama, who made thing worse for them.
Selecting Moochie wouldn't sway them. Hillary would be a disaster too. There just isn't anyone who would attract new voters for the democrats. They will just have to make do with the radical, deranged base, which isn't enough.

Knee Pads Harris is the likeliest choice, and she's still a bad one. Dems are just trying to save down ballot candidates. Like I have been saying, she adds little to the ticket on the national level, but she may bump turn out in the most populous state and save the Dems fr needing to cheat quite as hard.

This analysis acts like this is a typical VP pick and the rationale that goes into one.
It is anything but.
For the dems, their VP pick is going to be widely viewed as the REAL presidential pick. The majority of dems know this. All non dems know this. As people go to vote, their choice will be Trump vs. the dem VP choice because that is who would be governing as soon as Biden is declared incompetent, which will be ASAP.
THAT is why this pick is so hard and it is made harder because the dems have NO alternative presidential candidates. In all their efforts at a primary, they ended up with Uncle Joe and Comrade Bernie as the booby prize. Who could they possibly choose that hasn't already been rejected? None of the other primary contenders cracked 15% of their own party. In a general election, they would all be a disaster.
The delay is because some of the dem leadership knows all roads lead to disaster and they are hoping (I almost said praying but dems don't believe in prayer) that some other avenue develops. It's not going to happen.
