Attorney General William Barr may have had secret information that led the Justice Department to seek to drop its criminal case against Michael Flynn, a government lawyer said Tuesday.
Jeffrey Wall, the acting U.S. solicitor general, revealed the possible existence of that nonpublic information during a full appeals court hearing over whether Flynn’s case in federal court should be dismissed, as the Department of Justice has requested.
Does that mean the judges were trying to remember if they might have some info on them? hmm...And, who is surprised they were hostile to attorney Powell. Democrats....spit, spit

Sounds like Obambi/Clinton judges are salivating over the idea of ruling Federal Judges can be prosecutor, judge, jury and executioners. I bet the 5 liberals on the SCOTUS can't wait to grant themselves this unlimited power.

Looks like there is going to be another delay before the Flynn matter is finally resolved, as the Democrats slow walk the Flynn case past the November election.

Ok so what? I have enough. I know that the FBI investigators concluded he didn't lie. I know they blackmailed him into a confession by threatening to go after his son. I know that the prosecution illegally withheld exculpatory evidence. So if Barr know more big deal. No go get the real criminals.

Can't get more fake than this. Yes Barr has all the facts, even those not made public.

It sounds like Judge Sullivan , in collusion with the deep state, is trying to get the DOJ to reveal how much AG Barr knows.

I was listening. That is not the way Wall said it. The judge who was questioning him started fishing around for the motive behind the DoJ’s dismissal (other than the obvious - that it was a bogus charge that never should have been made in the first place. Wall simply said there might have been other reasons that could not be disclosed (consider what is going on with Durham!). So the evil enemedia twists and pretzels it, trying to suggest something sinister. That’s what they do.

The last claim "that this could have been over July 16" is bogus....unless they imagine that somehow the corrupt Sullivan would sentence Flynn in July.

Yeah, he knew that the entire damned case was fabricated from thin air and everyone on the prosecutorial staff is/was corrupt and lying.

FTA: “I just wanted to make clear that it may be possible that the attorney general had before him information that he was not able to share with the court,” Wall said, “and so what we put in front of the court were the reasons that we could, but it may not be the whole picture available to the executive branch.”
So, whose arse is DOJ covering here? And is this what Sullivan is trying to pry loose? You put your faith in the Federal government at your own risk. There is much, much more to this sordid affair, and no one seems to want that exposed. Let's just walk away...quietly...

#8/9 - This could have been ended two years ago, had Flynn not sworn before the court he was guilty. It could have ended when Sullivan took the case over and almost begged Flynn to back out of his guilty plea. Flynn told Sullivan to his face that he was guilty. This could have ended anytime after that had Flynn and DOJ ended this charade of false guilt.
Flynn has never, to my knowledge, ever claimed innocence. His latest attorney, showboat she is, has never asserted innocence, either. (Perhaps you can point me to where either has.) DOJ still says crimes, including his non-registration as a foreign agent for Turkey, were committed, but that it cannot prove the crime to which Flynn pled guilty without the now-tainted evidence.
So, let's stop and think rationally. What the hell is going on here? And don't tell me Sullivan is a Dem dupe or tool. This appeals panel knows better. They will give serious consideration to the issue at hand. This is a deep, deep situation that few are interested in seeing pursued after more than two years of entrapment, silence and lies. Why is that?

The possible real culprits in all this are Flynn’s former high flying DC defense attorneys who advised Flynn to plead guilty to a fake charge and then reportedly charged Flynn fees of well over a million dollars for that bogus legal advise. Apparently that was done without those lawyers ever seeing all the exculpatory data and information regarding Flynn including a report from the FBI Agents who interviewed Flynn saying that they did not believe that Flynn had lied to them, information that the DOJ prosecutors had in their possession at the time. If true that really stinks!

Interesting. I’m told there was a 20 second long silence in the Court following his remark.
