Only part of the dramatic racial differences in age-adjusted COVID-19 death rates can be explained by racial differences. The remainder reflects a substantially lower black survival rate because, we are told, of poverty and inadequate access to healthcare. Once taking into account Latino outcomes, however, these factors alone are unlikely to explain the lower black survival rate. Why are the outcomes for Latinos so much better than for black Americans?
There is no comprehensive national measure of cases by race and ethnicity. The CDC has estimates for only 57 percent of national cases. Using these partial estimates, together with population data,
Why are black babies in NYC more likely NOT to be born than babies of other ethnic groups?

It could be as simple as Healthcare workers in the inner cities are finding corpses 'with COVID', and maybe drug overdoses, bullets, knife wounds, etc. and labeling them as patients who died FROM the virus, to benefit their hospital's bottom lines.

The writer relies heavily upon data gleaned from The New York Times. Don't take my word for it; see for yourself. I expect the writer hopes we all think ''Because Trump'' as did #4. Writer further opines that black and brown people have jobs that are not able to be done remotely. Writer shoots self in foot by announcing that the CDC doesn't provide for tracing by ethnicity. I conclude that it is Because China.

That applies to bullets and Popeye's fried chicken as well. Some things are just unexplainable facts of life.

Diet. High in fat content which leads to weight gain and it's secondary health issues. It's why the U.S. has so many deaths from the Chinese virus. The Europeans have been laughing and joking about fat American tourists for years.

I am reminded of a street interview Ami Horowitz did in the Bronx asking blacks if getting an ID to vote was a burden. They looked at him like he was crazy. He asked white college students at Columbia the same question. They spewed the “blacks can’t” mantra of the racist left.
I am forced to consider the same attitude with this article. The doctor, full of white guilt and armed with statistics, thinks that black people cannot find a way to go to the doctor. Therefore, more government mandates and regulations should force “better” doctors to work in black urban hospitals.
Black people should be appalled. Many self-respecting, achieving blacks are. But the White Liberal with a massive superiority complex cannot help him/herself. They must makes blacks subservient to their superior knowledge and morality.

sickle cell anemia? Smoking, especially menthol cigarettes, which allow the smoker to inhale more deeply/ Marijuana use? Other drugs?
Social activities in crowded settings? (I have read about birthday parties for one and tweo year olds, with 200 in attendance.)

Collectively, let's quit groping in the dark, looking for answers on this question.
Simply ask Joe Biden about it. He is obviously quite knowledgeable of the differences between Black people and Latinos.

Quote from the NIH: "You can develop type 2 diabetes at any age. However, type 2 diabetes occurs most often in middle-aged and older people. You’re more likely to develop type 2 diabetes if you are 45 or older, have a family history of diabetes, or are overweight or obese. In the U.S., black adults are nearly twice as likely as white adults to develop type 2 diabetes. This racial disparity has been rising over the last 30 years."
Life choices and maybe some genetics. We know as a percentage of population, blacks have significantly higher rates of diabetes and diabetes + Covid means a much higher rate of serious disease and death.

Answer is simple: different cultures have very different dietary habits.
Solution: normalize data for diet. For example, compare death rates of vegans within the various racial groups.

There will not be enough information in this pile of statistics to really guess the reasons for the disparity. How likely that more black people have Type-A blood? From other reports, blood type makes a difference. For Hispanics, is there any record of how many of those came across the border for the specific purpose of getting treatment? This fact has been reported by border patrols, but ignored in this article. There are some significant factors that are not caused by behavior or action of white people or the quality of medical care.

Perhaps Latinos put the mask on correctly. Just have a look when you watch blacks, and I mean not all of them do the same. In a supermarket I observed about 9 blacks wearing the mask below the nose or below the chin. What the heck do they think the mask is going to do dangling around their neck??? Just observing!!

In our county in eastern Kansas, we have a LOT of good info on the ChinaVirus victims.
THE top "health problem" that is listed in our county is "liver disease" at 15% of deaths, followed by "cardiovascular disease" and "diabetes", each at 10%. That covers 35% of ChinaVirus deaths.
In our county, cases per 100,000 people breaks out this way by ethnicity:
Hispanics: 2,450 per 100,000
Blacks: 1,257 per 100,000
white: 643 per 100,000
other race: 633 per 100,000
Pre-existing health problem? Failure to make any effort to avoid the disease? I don't know, but there is clearly a huge difference in who is getting this disease.
As a friend once said about HIV - "Thank goodness this disease comes with an intelligence test attached!"
Perhaps this is another example. Use your head, be careful, wash your hands, don't go to huge gatherings of people you don't know and hug every body.....seems like you have a lower risk.
Or maybe just eating right, staying healthy and not having a handful of pre-existing health problems.

First off, you can't trust the "data" being gathered by the Feds, as it's all skewed by the Fauci Factor.
