The mail-in ballots of more than 84,000 New York City Democrats who sought to vote in the presidential primary were disqualified, according to new figures released by the Board of Elections. The city BOE received 403,103 mail-in ballots for the June 23 Democratic presidential primary. But the certified results released Wednesday revealed that only 318,995 mail-in ballots were counted. That means 84,108 ballots were not counted or invalidated — 21 percent of the total.

But the cable news talking heads will ignore this, and continue to say there is no evidence of any problems with mail in ballots.

As Rush said yesterday, a mail-in ballot is not like an absentee ballot. With an absentee ballot, you still have to request one in person, prove your address, residency, etc. A mail-in ballot is just a piece of paper, and if the precinct volunteer likes who you voted for, may be unlikely to take the effort to check the veracity of any of the qualifying information, choosing to just go ahead and count the vote anyway. Plus, as it's already going around on the internet, if you won the lottery, would you mail in your winning ticket, or take it to the lottery office to personally claim your prize and pick up your winnings in person?

#4, that's precisely why George Soros has been putting up millions of dollars to install leftists into "vote-counter" (County Clerk/Registrar) and "vote-certifier" (Secretary of State) positions all over America. This is the ultimate end-game for controlling elections.

Nothing keeps incumbants in power quite as well as disenfranchising voters in a primary.

The ballots were disqualified for a NYC primary. However, for a presidential election, the ballots would be fine.

To sum up October Surprises: The true and fraudulent ballots will never be able to be received in every state, counted, separated and litigated by Nov. 3. [Repub. lawyers should be appointed to review ballot counting] With obvious false returns Democrat team claims victory whatever the result, and media responds that Trump must be removed to prevent civil war.[Won't happen] So: Dems must keep the unrest and counting going until Jan. 20, when Nancy Pelousi can assume Presidency [with 1,000 E.O.s ready to go]; also, there must be voter intimidation at voter places [cops defunded]; with decimated voter places in schools-churches and obvious voter fraud with harvested ballots signed Mickey Mouse. [Martial Lawe or agreed to election invalidation]; there must be "Reichstag moments" like assassinations-suicides of key politicians/ the Biden stroke or nervous breakdown; revelation of new weaponized plagues cancelling election for safety [noise heard for forced or expedited vaccinations]; possible nukes unleashed, supply chains disrupted, war in middle east, etc. Possible Swamper-Lindsey puts Obama on stand now [probably not]. Possible White House call for weeks of national fasting and prayer [NOW would be good]. Possible Divine action for America including miracles, revivals. [Unless this is a time reckoning for American "same-sex marriage" law and "abortion" law abominations.]. Possible Rapture.

There has to be a time limit established for mail-in ballots. Endless counts and recounts cannot be permitted. Any ballots not counted within 24 hours, or so, must be eliminated. That will give more incentive for in-person voting (want to make sure your vote counts), and would reduce the workload of counting mail-in ballots- making the 24 hour deadline achievable. The boomerang that democrats are not thinking of is that President Trump would stay in office for the entire time it takes to deal with the mail-in ballots. Could take months, or years! Who else would be president during that time?

People who travel around Denver often spot someone tirelessly waving an American flag on a bridge overarching the highway. It doesn’t matter whether it’s sunny and hot, or cold and windy, you can always find the flag there. I’ve always wondered about the person behind the flag. Recently, while hiking near the bridge he frequents, I finally got the chance to meet him. The man who just won’t stop waving the American Flag is 60-year-old Jeff McNamara. Jeff was born into a military family. His father fought in World War II, then served three tours of duty in Vietnam.

Joe Biden is reportedly considering Barack Obama’s former national-security adviser Susan Rice to be his running mate. National Review’s Jim Geraghty recently told us “20 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Susan Rice.” I worked with Rice during the Clinton administration and have five more things the public needs to know. 1. Rice was obsessed with U.N. peacekeeping to solve world conflicts. Rice was a key architect of a disastrous Clinton-administration policy — Presidential Decision Directive 25. PDD-25, as the document was called, sought to implement “assertive multilateralism” to address all global conflicts with U.N. peacekeepers. This concept, the brainchild of Rice’s mentor Madeleine Albright,

PHOENIX — Joe Arpaio on Friday was narrowly defeated in his bid to win back the sheriff’s post in metro Phoenix that he held for 24 years before being voted out in 2016 amid voter frustrations over his taxpayer-funded legal bills, his penchant for self-promotion and a defiant streak that led to his now-pardoned criminal conviction. Arpaio lost the Republican primary for Maricopa County sheriff to his former top aide, Jerry Sheridan. In the Nov. 3 general election, Sheridan will face Democrat Paul Penzone, who unseated Arpaio four years ago.

Democrats have been hoping that COVID shutdowns would cause enough pessimism about the economy to push them to victory in November. That could still happen, but pessimism is becoming a harder sell. The thing to keep in mind during the legal war launched today between New York State and the National Rifle Association is that the Second Amendment does not exist in New York City and state. It has been blocked at every level by state and local authorities. In New York, there is no right to — in the plain language of the Constitution — keep and bear arms. The right has been denied as a matter of policy for decades. That will be, we predict, the elephant in the courtrooms that hear the dueling lawsuits that New York’s attorney general, Letitia James, and the NRA itself filed today.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi was so displeased this week with PBS’ Judy Woodruff that she accused the journalist of serving as an “advocate” for the Republican Party. The California Democrat became visibly frustrated during a “One on One” interview Tuesday in which Ms. Woodruff asked why Democrats couldn’t seem to find a principled compromise with Republicans on another round of coronavirus relief. “Democrats want more money, Republicans want a lot less,” Ms. Woodruff said. “They are saying they’re willing to show flexibility, and they’re also saying a lot of the money that was passed in the Spring, Madam Speaker, has not even been spent yet.”

At this point in the 1988 presidential cycle, it was taken for granted among pundits and professional prognosticators that Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis would defeat Vice President George H. W. Bush by a comfortable margin. Moreover, public opinion seemed to confirm the conventional wisdom. At the end of July, two major polls, Gallup and Harris, had published voter surveys showing Dukakis ahead of Bush by 17 and 18 points, respectively. Meanwhile, the media consistently portrayed the vice president as a dull-witted wimp and represented the Massachusetts governor as a hyper-competent technocrat. Just over 90 days later Bush won the popular vote by seven points and the Electoral College 426-111.

We have watched our society slide into a disturbing trend of permissiveness when it comes to assaulting and removing aspects of our culture. Between evictions of historical monuments, the eradicating of entertainment properties and the condemning of commonplace practices, we have almost become conditioned to accepting these efforts. Now we may be seeing the effects of this movement metastasizing. The Wall Street Journal delivered a lengthy treatise that looks at a normal aspect of American life, one that almost nobody looks at as being a nefarious component in our existence, with contempt: driving pickup trucks.

CAIRO — The countdown to catastrophe in Beirut started more than six years ago when a troubled, Russian-leased cargo ship made an unscheduled stop at the city’s port. The ship was trailed by debts, crewed by disgruntled sailors and dogged by a small hole in its hull that meant water had to be constantly pumped out. And it carried a volatile cargo, more than 2,000 tons of ammonium nitrate, a combustible material used to make fertilizers — and bombs — that was destined for Mozambique. The ship, the Rhosus, never made it.
