A meteorologist at a Colorado news station has been fired after he shared a tweet comparing federal agents policing cities amid the recent unrest across the country to Nazi Germany. Marty Coniglio shared a picture of soldiers posing with Adolf Hitler and captioned the July 23 post: 'Federal police in cities … now where have I seen that before?' The following day Coniglio, who has been on television in Denver for three decades, confirmed he had stopped working for 9News. His social media profiles no longer refer to the network.

Quick reactions: It's another amazing example of how towering the arrogant confidence is these media jerks have, that outrageous garbage such as this tweet are perfectly ok because they are so woke. Also, usually, when someone gets summarily fired, there's a lot of background we'll never know, of annoyance, complaints and pent-up animus.

No surprises on the behavior of the newscaster; especially In Denver. What’s surprising is that he got fired.

Just stinking great. If we go around firing everybody espousing thoughts someone believed to be radical we'll all starve to death. Nancy Pelosi can say these things but your garden variety mush mind cannot? I understand that an employer has every right to protect the brand but I just think we are further away from transitioning the process from choosing up sides to an merit based debate when we all play thought police. Far more conservatives will be on the wrong side of that stick.

Marty Coniglio has the right to post anything online within the law. Just as Channel 9 has the right to fire him. Approximately half of Channel 9s audience sharply disagrees with Coniglio’s Nazi image post. Faced with viewer backlash and revenue loss, Channel 9 fired him. Therefore, this story is about a business decision. Marty Coniglio was not denied freedom of expression.

The problem with "local" news is that they are anything but. We have local news at 5:00 to 5:30, national news 5:30 to 6:00, then local again at 6:00 to 6:30. There is about 10 minutes of local weather and sports, and the rest of it is simply feeder segments from the national parent network unfiltered. IOW, we get roughly 80 minutes of national level dreck each night. No wonder the sheep are afraid.

It's funny the article referred the SA troop as soldiers? The Sturmabteilung did for Hitler as what the Antifa/BLM are doing for the Democrats. These useful idiots like Marty Coniglio don't know squat, truly ignorant.

A US Army helicopter airlifted the vehicle from the spot just west of the Teklanika River, where it had been left to rust for more than half a century. The bus was made famous by Into The Wild, a book and film that told the story of Chris McCandless' death after he lived inside it for 114 days during the summer of 1992.
