The meeting came after $600 unemployment boosts brought

What the country needs is for the politicians to unlock the people! Open businesses, open the schools, open the bars and restaurants, open the museums, open the public facilities, open the churches, and let citizens be free again!

Forget it, #2. They saw how easy it was to get the boot on our necks and they aren't letting up soon. The only person with any power opposing them (sort of) is DT.

Liberal democrats and liberal republicans trying to out liberal each other. Just give everyone a government approved printer and let them print whatever money they need. In the coming 2 years we're going to have an avalanche of inflation. When that happens, the feds will need to increase interest rates to pull the excess cash out of the economy. And there's a big difference between 0% interest on $27 T and 20% on $27 T ($27 T * 20% = $5.4 T). When interest rates go up 2 things will have to happen to service the $27 T in debt we currently have - increase taxes and cut back on services. Say goodbye to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Goodbye welfare. Adios standing army. That, or we become Venezuela and a loaf of bread costs $1000.

Unlock the nation but padlock the Capitol Building until the people who we elected to SERVE US actually do so. Give them the very basic in sustenance (no top shelf booze) and allow short potty breaks. Keep 'em locked up until they decide to work. It will also give them a brief taste of what's in their future so they get used to it.

The only "stimulus" we need is for all the moron governors to remove the lockdowns. If Republicans had any guts, they'd stop spending our money and instead make the Democrats pay for what they've done. Obviously, I live in a dream world.

I heard that in the Dem version is a provision that IDs canNOT be required for mail-in voting. That opens it up to illegals, foreign visitors, kids, etc.

They are holding hostage the working class victims of blue state lockdowns until the republicans agree to pay illegal immigrants and bail out the corrupt bankrupt blue states.
That's exactly the message the republicans should be singing from the hill tops.

Wondering how much the rioters (er, excuse me - 'protesters') are dependent on that $600 per week. Assuming any of them had jobs in the first place.

"We're not close" meaning the republicans haven't totally caved in to Chucky and Piglousi yet (like they normally do).

Dear Congress, few are "desperate" and you are certainly fast and easy with our tax dollars. Some have no incentive to return to work or find another job. How about you put some skin in the game since you are working part time and getting paid full time? Maybe a $50k cut in your salary of $174,000.

How about rolling back restrictions and let life resume? Nah, that might restart the economy, which would aid Trump's reelection. Can't have that.
