Have we reached Peak Corporate Cave-In?
It kind of looks like it - Trader Joe's has decided to reverse course and not change all the brand labels of its products to satisfy the wokeness demands of a tiny, largely white, racism-parsing left-wing mob. Here's their statement:
To Our Valued Customers:
In light of recent feedback and attention we’ve received about our product naming, we have some things we’d like to say to clarify our approach.
A few weeks ago, an online petition was launched calling on us to “remove racist packaging from [our] products.” Following were inaccurate reports that the petition prompted us

I have thought that Trader Joe's best days were behind them when they raised the price of Two Buck Chuck. By not renaming their products at the insistence of babbling snowflakes I can see a glimmer of hope, and I can forgive them for that price increase.

As a customer from their first little store in Pasadena, whose family knew founder Joe Coulombe, I wrote them a letter yesterday telling them that they should never change Coulombe’s original concept because a 17 year old school girl doesn’t like it. That she was obviously too young to understand what the stores were all about - whimsy , not racism. She seemed to mistake ethnicity for race as she went on her very public (one wonders about that, too) mission. A white girl at that. None of those whom she thought were being disparaged had ever made a peep and were regular customers in fair numbers in the numerous TJ’s in our immediate area.

(hit submit too soon)
An interesting point: Our area is largely Chinese. Those who made a run for it from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Many are quite prosperous; some, not so. The flood out TJs, and often buy the Trader Ming products. Doesn’t seem to bother them at all. The Ming dynasty ruled China for centuries. I wonder if the kid - the female David Hogg - knows that?

Great move. Actually, I find it astounding that any company executive team would capitulate to such petulant boycott threats and risk losing probably the most loyal part of their customer base. I believe this move will cause a lot of such previous hasty, foolish decisions to be reconsidered and rescinded.
Thank you, Trader Joe.

Unlike leftist pronouncements, none of these brand names are motivated by malice and culture cancelling.

Yes, Americans are starting to fight back against the cancel culture and the democrat radicals. As more companies follow TJs lead, the fighting will snowball, rolling up the snowflakes!
America's tolerance has limits, and the prog left has pushed it to the limit. The rebound will be a pleasure to watch!

When I thought they would be one of the first to bend their knees, they stand up straight as an arrow and they tell the PC's to take a hike. Way to go!
Thank you Trader Joe's.

Just being a little picky here - Avogadro’s Number, referenced in the article as Avacado’s Number is not a mathematical construct but, rather, a constant from Chemistry and Physics. But... I still buy 2 buck Chuck by the case.
Thanks, Trader Joe!

Sadly, this is too late!!!
Once you give these lie-beral monsters an inch, they know you are weak and will not stop attacking you, no matter how much you give them, until you are destroyed!!!
Trader Joe's may finally be growing a spine. But the lie-berals already know they are weak. We will now see if Trader Joe's new spine can withstand the massive onslaught that they are about to receive from very experienced and evil lie-berals!!!

Today I was harrassed by an employee at the entrance and then the manager of the store for not wearing a mask. The mask of oppression. The mask of sheeple. Trader Joe's supports this.
