The Left’s “Boycott Goya” campaign to bully and silence Goya Food CEO Robert Unanue for praising President Trump has backfired in epic fashion after scores of Trump supporters launched their own counter-boycott called “Goya Buy-cott.” The “Buy-cott” campaign inspired countless Trump supporters to go to their local stores and buy up Goya olives, seasonings, beans, and frozen foods like it’s Christmas. In fact, Goya couldn’t have asked for better marketing if it had paid millions of dollars in prime-time TV and newspaper ads. President Trump kicked things off by tweeting, “I love Goya Foods!” (Tweet)

I bought a big can of something (pinto beans?) and just left it at the cash register at Publix. Asked them to donate it.
Lots of empty space on the Goya shelf.
A good buycott.

I was delighted to learn most of Goya products are Star-K certified kosher. I'd never bothered to look.
Mrs. Ruffian is looking up Sephardic recipes.
Happy little accident.

I read the article, and enjoyed it. But I have to say, it's getting tiresome to try to read an article and the tweets of everyone, but it's annoying to read what they tweet and then have the tweet also posted, to be read again. It seems like a lazy way to stretch the article, but I wish they would quit doing it.

Goya puts out good products, especially their beans. I think I'll make some hummus tonight.

On this forum - - I predicted this boycott would be a major fail as soon as it was proposed.
The "protestors" do not buy their own food - - they wait for their mommies to bring it to them in the basement.
In fact - - all of these protests and tweets emanate from a minuscule number of professional leftists. The spineless and the gutless are caving in to a tiny handful of shakedown hustlers.

For Goya, happy to say we ''chick-fil-a'ed them'' but I remember how we grieved when the latter day family of the awesome chicken restaurant founder, S. Truett Cathy, turned their backs on that great man of faith. I trust that Bob Unanue has the support of his entire company. It ain't too late to pray!

I bought some yesterday. Didn't need anything, did it anyway. Because I'm a racist. Or something.

I bought about $40 worth myself. Love the refried's. They have about 20-30 products to choose from. At Walmart, its pretty much ALL in one place in the Hispanic foods aisle.

You’d think that the left would have learned from their Chik-fil-A disaster several years ago. They can’t make their own buy-cotts work because leftist don’t spend their own money.

I'm just really disappointed my local Kroger had nothing from Goya. No shelf space, no product. I was looking for garbanzo beans to make hummus.

Best sales story ever. A whole new group of people are going to be introduced to their products, with a lot of people continuing to buy. Latinos are generally conservative. In south Louisiana I’ve never seen a Latino using food stamps, and the men are never home during the day.

I buy Goya anyhow, but this morning bought frozen plantains and empanadas for my freezer and black and red kidney beans in cans. Someone made a point of saying we should each buy $10 worth of Goya and give the food to the local food bank. Great idea.

I bought my Goya over the weekend. Another win for truth. This is where we can make a statement. But it is easy when you live in the middle of Tex-Mex territory. And Goya is nice quality.

Yup, do not Mess with Trump supporters. The money I used to spend at Chik Fil A now happily goes to the GOYA family. Read the history of the family and be blessed. We will not be finding out GOYA secretly sends money to the Southern Poverty Law Center. I love the way the CEO has made it clear in four press opportunities now that he will never back down. YES!!

Our local Albertsons has Goya in one place on half the Mexican food aisle. We've used the seasoning, Adobo, in place of salt exclusively for years. The Goya olives are good and we eat plenty of them when we camp. The dark red beans are good to make New Orleans style red beans and rice with sausage. When people do the right thing the rewards are great thank you Mr. Unanue and your great product. KAG!

My apres-mowing recipe for a jolly Friday afternoon:
-- 1 pkg of Goya frozen mango pulp
-- 1 personalized amount of your favorite adult spirit (I recommend Tito's or Russian Standard)
Mix in a blender.
Lie in hammock.
Drink.

I have to admit that I waited a couple of days to buy any Goya stuff.
Sadly, I have been burned too many times when someone said the right thing, and then folded to lie-beral anarchist threats a couple of days later!!!!
But now it has been several days, and Goya is staying true to the truth!!!! So I bought a bunch of stuff today. Living in Texas, I have bought their stuff in the past, and it's good stuff. So I was happy to join the "buycott" and show my support today.
Thank you, Mr. Unanue!!! You are a good man and hopefully you will have record sales as you pick up a lot of new customers this quarter!!!!!

Several years ago worked at a business in Bradenton. We were working with a lovely Cuban woman who had fled Cuba and settled in Orlando/Bradenton. Through her we got to know many in the Cuban population there and were able to meet many in that community, and hear their stories. Fantastic!! But..we were served the great Cuban dish of rice and black beans. Oh my goodness, it is delicious. But I have lost my receipe. Does anyone here have one??? I will use Goya black beans, of course.

Eating Goya chocolate Maria cookies as I'm typing this. Pork roast cooking in the slow cooker with Goya seasoning for dinner tonight. Smells great. Goya Extra Virgin Olive oil is really great and very flavorful. One of my favorites. Lots of great Goya products out there. Goya was also a damn fine artist too.
Screw the treasonous idiot and complete moron,.....AOC.
