One of the biggest mistakes many people have made in their evaluation of Rod Rosenstein is separating him from the Special Counsel investigation run by Robert Mueller’s team of resistance lawyers. The reality is Rosenstein was always a willing active participant and co-dependent enabler. [Thread Here]
Support for this foundational understanding comes forward yesterday as the former Deputy Attorney General showcases his support for an op-ed presumably written by Robert Mueller. (Tweet)Notice how Rosenstein positions his current advocacy as part of the Mueller team. This is critical; and unfortunately everyone keeps missing it. Rosenstein did the same thing in his Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

This is my biggest gripe with Jeff Sessions. He must have or should have known what a snake Rosenstein was. To recuse himself was a big mistake.
Still I hope he wins in his primary.

I have thought that Rosenstein might be a part of the Deep State from early on. In the last couple of years, I have become certain that Rosenstein was doing everything he could, including criminally signing FISA warrants, to destroy Trump.
Rosenstein is definitely one of the corrupt, criminal class in Washington.

Rosenrat is as dirty as can be - - yet Lady Lindsey and the rest of the Pubbies fawned all over him in the one-and-only hearing on this corrupt matter.
So - - what are the odds that any criminal procedures will ever be brought against this rat?

Rosenstein is a very clever weasel. He knew he had to be very careful about how he supported the Deep State attacks on Trump. He wanted it to be very difficult to prove his involvement. Yet, he couldn't do what he did without leaving a trail; very deeply covered but still a trail. Now, after extensive digging, that trail is visible. As mentioned, the “Russia hacked the DNC emails” narrative is a crucial part, a linchpin, of the operation yet was a fake as everything else. When that falls apart, it becomes clear that EVERYTHING else was falsely predicated. Further, that the authors of this KNEW it was false and deliberately used it to extend their criminal operations. In fact, they established the narrative SPECIFICALLY to be able to extend their lies and criminal activities.
This all was a criminal conspiracy carried out by a powerful crime family entrenched in the government and STILL being protected and extended by that crime family. Don't be duped into thinking this was a political operation. It was NOT! Just because the cabal members happen to all be dems doesn't make it political.

Everything, everything, from the beginning that the Deep State and Mueller did was a set up. Thus, Roger Stone's conviction, General Flynn's investigation, etc. were all based on false premises. So, it doesn't matter what Rosenstein, Mueller and cronies believe today. They are the liars . . .

Individuals like Rosenstein, Comey, Schumer, Pelosi, Clapper, Brennan, Shifty Schiff, and similar ilk too often rise to the top of the cesspools and thereby get themselves into positions of policy maker and/or leader. It's disappointing and discouraging that individuals who have integrity, honor and ethics seldom do so.

How does this sequence of "thoughts" parse?
"We also identified numerous links between the Russian government and Trump campaign personnel — Stone among them. We did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired with the Russian government in its activities." Therefore, Mueller had a duty to investigate and destroy these members of the Trump campaign because they somehow had encountered "links" to Russia?
What is Mueller disclosing here? Just because the prose is impersonal and grammatically correct doesn't mean it makes sense.
What is a reader supposed to believe after reading this non sequitur?
