Mueller writes op-ed to defend his investigation

Former special counsel Robert Mueller defended his investigation of Roger Stone on Saturday after President Donald Trump commuted the prison sentence for his longtime friend. “We made every decision in Stone’s case, as in all our cases, based solely on the facts and the law and in accordance with the rule of law,” Mueller wrote in an op-ed at The Washington Post. “The women and men who conducted these investigations and prosecutions acted with the highest integrity,” he continued. “Claims to the contrary are false.” “The Russia investigation was of paramount importance. Stone was prosecuted and convicted because he committed federal crimes. He remains a convicted felon, and rightly so,” Mueller added.

It's kind of like the drunk who gets pulled over and tells the officer, "Yeah, I've just had 2 beers" after he's had 8. Is he going to get arrested for lying to the officer, or because he's had 8 beers? In Stone's case, he got charged for lying because the feds didn't have anything else to charge him with.

The problem is there never should have been a Mueller investigation in the first place. They were just chasing ghosts for partisan political purposes.

It’s been over 11 years since I stepped into my mother’s kitchen back on Long Island, but it all came flooding back the other day when I pulled out her small, olive green metal recipe box. Our kitchen was off the living room at the back of the first floor. Standing at the kitchen sink, you could look over the backyard, to the rusty basketball hoop on the garage roof and our baseball field just over the forsythia bushes. My mom called us from that spot countless times. I wish I had a picture of her standing watch at that window, but it’s probably best remembered in my mind.

Poster art is something they did in the early 1900s, late 1800s, when they had to communicate their whole platform on one piece of paper," Cuomo stated. "Over the past few years I’ve done my own posters that capture that feeling. I did a new one for what we went through with COVID

Ordinary people who aren’t being paid to play baseball cannot endure it except by playing it co-ed with beer, which makes practically anything endurable including watching paint dry. About 90% of baseball consists of the players standing around while touching their privates whenever the TV camera is pointed at them or sitting around the dugout pretending to watch the other team while touching their privates.
