Are we being set up for
another stunning Trump win?

With five months until the election, things couldn’t look any worse for the president of the United States. His approval rating is down to 40%. People are getting tired of his antics and the insults he hurls at his opponents. The media is increasingly confident that, come November, the voters will elect a new chief executive. This might sound like June 2020, but I’m actually referring to June 1948 — when President Harry Truman, a Democrat, was running to keep his job against Republican Thomas Dewey. The similarities between the 1948 and 2020 elections are striking.

You can say what you want about Biden, but he did a very good job with his speech yesterday. I watched the whole thing. Yes, he read every word from the Prompter, but he didn't stray from it! He was calm and Statesman Like! Of course, when he took questions, he gave away the who pretense that he could handle things. He called on pre-arranged Media, with pre-arranged questions of which he had the pre-arranged answers. It was so plain it was all a set up! My point here is Trump needs to do the SAME. He needs to give great Speeches, Stay on the Prompter, be Statesman Like! Now is when the country is looking for the person who is going to stay calm during a crisis. They are not happy with how Trump handled Covid. ( don't agree because nobody could have handled it, it was a mess with most of the unknown put out there by Fauci). I also think they are tired of the unrest and they want it handled. They want a safe place to live. They want him to take the Lead in "fixing" everything. So, they need to hear his plan in a calm and confident Speech. No name calling. No making fun of Biden (we can all see how bad Biden is). We need Trump to be Presidential! We don't need him to tell us how great a job he's done. He should have his Surrogates out there doing that every day! We need him to tell us what he will do in the next four years! No Whining about how badly he's been treated. We all know he was, and probably will be if re-elected. We want him to stand up there confident and strong. That's what will get him re-elected! And...don't lean with your elbow on the Podium when you speak. Stand tall!

Yesterday's Potemkin Presser buy Biden certainly can't help his cause. It was clearly rehearsed, reading off of the teleprompter made it robotic, and the questions from the presstitutes were obviously submitted in advance and the answers scripted. Even with all the preparation,Dementia Joe stumbled and bumbled around, at one point even giving away the truth about the scripted event. While I had the entire event on, I zoned out about halfway through. It was that awful. I can't begin to imagine that a majority of Americans would vote for that to head the country for the next four years.

The difference between Truman and Trump is that the media was trying to get it right for the Truman/Dewey election but lacked the ability to. For Trump/Biden, the media is the propaganda arm of the dems and is deliberately skewing their efforts. However, it is true that the waters have been muddied. The pandemic and the Leftist riots are messing things up. The riots, however, are getting stale. It is clear that they are rebounding in the face of the dems trying to fan an election issue. Dems are trying to solidify their Black voters but the damage the rioters are doing is mostly impacting Blacks. It's like Cleavon Little in Blazing Saddles threatening to shoot himself to stop the townspeople from attacking him. It's an absurdity and Blacks are realizing it and resenting it. Further, the same voters that are annoyed with Trump's "antics" are repelled and fearful of the riot violence and the broad attacks on American culture. As usual, the Left has run to the extreme and has lost the American People. The pandemic is running its course. If you look at models of all countries for numbers of cases and deaths, they all approach a point where they start to bend down and then sharply drop off, like a waterfall. Since there is no vaccine and all countries are doing different things, this appears to be a characteristic of the virus and the way it spreads; given time, it WILL drop off sharply. By November, it is VERY likely it will be in retreat. Not gone, but the headline shrieks of rising numbers and hospital overcrowding will be gone. The purpose of the actions of the government against the virus was to BEND THE CURVE and prevent being overwhelmed. That has succeeded. We now have enough resources in the Country to survive it. Yes, there will be local hot spots but hospital beds and staff and treatments are available and can be managed. This too shall pass. The Left's only hope is to maintain panic and chaos so people vote emotionally without considering the disaster that is the dem party and Joe Biden. The pandemic and riots worked in their favor but are unusual events. The dems have been extraordinarily inept at creating such events. They can only try to use ones that pop up organically. Amazingly they got two in a row. Time's up.

Two big differences. Dewey was a stable successful governor, administrator - a safe choice. Biden is perceived as a senile, demented imbecile, a puppet of Marxist radicals, who cannot put two sentences together on his own. Second, and most importantly, tens of millions will be looking at Trump as the only thing that stands between them and a Marxist society. Something stunningly unthinkable just four years ago. They would wish it was otherwise, that they had a different choice but they won't. Unless something radically unexpected overwhelms us it is Trump in a landslide.

FTA: '' People are getting tired of his antics and the insults he hurls at his opponents.'' Which people would those be, Richard? The ones who won't vote for him because they are democrats? No, Richard. We are not tired of President Trump's ''antics and insults!'' He is a man who does the right thing by fighting back against the liars and fake news. Yes, President Trump will win. How stunning? We shall see, but it will make the radical left and the media cry, pull their hair, and indulge themselves in deep depression.

#9, Your advice for the President is spot on! I would hope that someone would get those suggestions to him. We all love him, but you have to beat them at their own game. They are expecting a bomb thrower. Give them it to them in another manner. He can do the same thing by different means. Be more like his wonderful ads that makes us all proud to be Americans. Democrats are counting on him to be bombastic and rude. Don’t go there. He’s the guy with all the accomplishments. He’s the guy that can get the country on its feet again. Focus on that. Biden’s actions will be his downfall...just let him implode. The President should just be the smart, confident, doer that people know they can count on.

I hope there is a stunning victory, but there are 47 million unemployed, and no one knows who is going to get the blame for it. And for certain, the Democrats are going to cheat. They always have, but it is going to be a lot more this time. I wonder if this election is settled election night. The 2016 results were not accepted, so if Trump wins, we will have riots and mayhem through the inauguration. If the House is not won back, impeachment proceeding will begin inauguration day.

Trump will be reelected November 3rd 2020 by a large majority of votes. Don't listen to the naysayers...They are fear mongers and losers. We all know he's not a perfect and that's why we like him. He's not your typical prepackaged corrupt politician. He should continue being Trump and exude enthusiasm, confidence and relate directly to the American people. We all know how competent he is. I agree with #5, we don't need to hear the litany of his accomplishments. All he needs to say is "Promises made, promises kept" and here are my new promises and where I want to take this country and in the next four years of my administration. He needs move away from the Covid ordeal take control of the campaign and ignore the ignoramuses on the other side. Also, he needs something fresh. Bring in Greg Gutfeld to put some funny scenarios together for his campaign. The country needs some laughter right now. People also love when he's self deprecating. For example, the recent story about being at West Point and afraid of taking a fall in his leather bottom shoes. We love that kind of stuff! Most of all, people want to feel secure and confident and that you will fight for our rights, our freedoms and the Constitution. I can go on with ideas of what he should say or not say, though when it all boils down, I trust President Trump will get the job done and be reelected.

I don't see a Trump win as any kind of upset as it stands. Joe Biden...one percent Joe...hasn't won anything anywhere but Delaware, where things were fixed for him. He's a cypher, a good soldier for the profiteering UNIPARTY to keep the left at bay within the Dem component another four years. The trick card in the deck is a major third party candidate with moderate conservative cred, big name backing and financial support. If you think Ross Perot was a factor in Bush41's loss, such a candidacy would give NeverTrumpers both a home and a "broken glass" reason to go vote. The game is in the electoral college, not the popular vote, as PDT well knows from 2016. And the game can go overtime in the House of Representatives... The game now is to grind down PDT's approval rating - death, disease, shutdowns, quarantines, riots, murders, nooses, BLM, Antifa, George Floyd, and cop violence/ambivalence...seemingly without end...and the hope is "Trump fatigue" among those moderate conservatives who tolerate Trump as marginally better than Hillary and Biden. If the numbers fall right, there will be a "draft" by the NeverTrump of a certain western Senator who voted to convict on one count in the impeachment imbroglio. There will be great hoopla, big money and 24/7 glowing media support throughout the NeverTrump campaign as PDT will reportedly ponder surrender, grow more irrational, maybe talk to the Presidential portraits at night, etc.

Here's what bothers me: Biden is seemingly able to go from a blank, confused and babbling old man one day to a calm, witty and reasonable statesman when he has to make an important public appearance or give a speech. If he truly had dementia, he could NOT control his behavior that way! He couldn't be counted on to stay focused and read from a teleprompter for a fixed amount of time. Dementia patients can't cast aside their dementia symptoms whenever they wish. They can't perform ON DEMAND as Joe apparently does. There was nothing about Joe's performance last night that suggested he's mentally incompetent. Yet we know he is. Something is very weird about all this.

If the market is strong, the president is likely to win. If we make significant progress on a vaccine for the virus, the president is likely to win. If Biden does not chicken out and actually shows up for three debates, the president is likely to win. If the street violence continues and the president meets it forcefully, he is likely to win. Remember that the president has beaucoup bucks in his campaign war chest. Remember that Biden is an awful candidate. Remember that Biden will probably pick a terrible veep candidate. And remember to pray. Especially. Remember. To. Pray. The democrats want a secular society with sexual license, abortion under all possible circumstances (and at public expense), handcuffing the police and protecting the criminals, erasing our history and continuing to attack the family and religion. God will be open to prayers for the alternative. So pray already.

Sorry #21: you're wrong. Early-stage dementia patients can certainly read a text with authority. I know because I've seen it in my family. But when asked to speak impromptu off the top of their head, they begin to stumble badly. I agree somewhat with you that perhaps Biden's handlers or family have a physician on call to slip him an Adderall or something similar to make him temporarily more alert. Sleepy Joe is not going to stay at his current stage of dementia. He will surely diminish somewhat between now and November, and he will have both good days and bad days. He'll need plenty of rest between public appearances. Time is not on his side.

Why not put up Mittens again - - or exhume Johnnie McNuts? We shouldn't want to be "nice" to the other side - - the side which is at war with us - - and at war with our American values. Nice guys finish last - - (thank you Leo Durocher). We want someone who realizes that it's a war - - and who will fight like Gen. Patton to make sure our side wins. President Trump must carry the fight through to November - - just as he has for the past 4+ years. Give no quarter and take no prisoners. #5 I agree with some statements and kindly disagree wth others. We don't want 'compassionate' Bush for President. The great businessmen and top salesman go where many fear to trod. Yet, they still are the most sucessful. The big guns are much like Trump, and the small ones are always curious trying to figure out his style for success. Trump was extremely victorious in his first term even while they are runts. People like Ryan, Romney, and the entire Republican establishment. Trump accomplshed more in his first term than the last presidents in 80 years, and the most attacked. The highest paid salesman in NC was awarded, for his sales production. He sold high end upholstery furniture, and he was color blind. What is you secret sir, they all inquired. "My secret is not necessarily your style". I worry more about Trump's reading peole for hiring. He has made some bad decisions listening to the wrong people, like Jared. Trump is great at getting things going, but weak in the continuance, with the right people. Great things for a salesman to do is create need. Also, instill confidence in your abilities.. We are minnows compared to men like Trump and Mr. Color Blind.

It may not be pretty, and certainly offends the more delicate sensibilities, but with all due respect, Republicans who play the “gentlemen’s game” are living in a different time. They are completely detached from today’s political/cultural reality. I am not going to ask the cop or the soldier who have volunteered to fight for me, at great cost to themselves, to tone it down a bit. We need help, and God has sent us Donald J Trump. I will not question God’s choices or methods.

As of ten minutes ago, I still had the right to say I believe Donald Trump is our president because of Divine Intervention. I and millions of my fellow believers pray daily that God will bring about Trump's re-election in November. I firmly believe almighty God will cause it to happen, in spite of all the dirty tricks and corruption the DemocRATS can muster to assure a Biden victory. Our God abhors abortion, gender manipulation, homosexual activity, election tampering (stealing votes through fraud), etc. ... in short, all the things DemocRATS endorse; therefore a Trump victory is highly possible. It may or may not be a landslide, but that's immaterial; all he needs is an electoral college majority vote. Amen...may it be so.

I am sure most of this polling nonsense is ideologically driven. But how much of it is a monetary calculation? Look, American news is driven by ratings. And readership. Because it requires advertising revenue (which is one way the BBC is slightly superior). American news NEEDS a Presidential race to be close. As does the professional "campaign advisor and staffer" class. None of those groups has any use promoting a title bout of Mike Tyson versus Woody Allen. That just doesn't put butts in seats in front of screens.

Here we are in the midst of a once-in-a-half-century pandemic, with the economy flattened, millions of people unemployed, and unrest on the streets of our cities. And President-elect Joe Biden says that one of his highest priorities as president will be to reenter the Paris climate accord. President Trump kept his "put America first" promise and pulled the United States out of this Obama-era treaty. Biden wants us back in. Why? Paris is an unmitigated failure. You don't have to take my word for it. National Geographic, a supporter of climate change action, recently ran the numbers and admitted in its recent headline: "Most countries aren't hitting 2030 climate goals."

Why do we do this to ourselves every four years? We talk incessantly about the latest poll in Florida and Michigan and Pennsylvania and Arizona until we are blue in the face. Then they turn out to be wildly wrong. When will we ever learn? It reminds me of that old saying which I think was from Einstein, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” Polling, at least the old-school style, is over. Done. I don’t need to go through a long list of reasons why nobody should take pollsters seriously anymore, but a few data points are instructive.
Implications of the Flynn Pardon 11 replies

President Trump granted a pardon to Michael Flynn, his former national-security adviser, today. Flynn had pled guilty to lying to FBI agents about conversations, during the 2016 transition, with the Russian ambassador about sanctions. Flynn’s pardon should bring to an end one gross violation of the Constitution’s separation of powers, even as it gives rise to groundless accusations of another. Although Flynn had pled guilty, the circumstances of the case had raised serious concerns about whether the government had proceeded properly. The FBI, for example, questioned Flynn even though it did not appear he had violated any law. In May, Attorney General William Barr ordered the case dropped.

The court ruled 5-4 to bar Cuomo from enforcing his Oct. 6 “Cluster Initiative” against houses of worship that sued to challenge the restrictions. The order was also the first in which Justice Amy Coney Barrett played a decisive role. Barrett, who was President Trump's third Supreme Court nominee, joined the court Oct. 27, after winning Senate confirmation following the Sept. 18 death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

So, I had COVID, and that was interesting. I’m not interested in obeying all the fascist decrees of Governor Hairstyle here in California, so I won’t. And here’s some inside scoop on my new book Crisis, which at this moment is #31 out of all books on Amazon, so I’m outselling Fifty Shades of Grey. I’m not sure how to feel. Kurt Contracts COVID And Antics Ensue I’m fine. Irina’s fine, though she had it worse than me. How would I describe it? Well, like a middling head cold. I felt sniffley and was coughing one day, so I called a doctor client and got a 30-minute test.

Are furbished product is seldom as desirable as a brand-new one. Joe Biden must be assuming Americans can’t tell the difference. Even as President Trump battles uphill to overturn the results of the recent presidential election, faces familiar during the earlier Age of Obama are reappearing in President-elect-apparent Biden’s pantheon of power. The looming Biden era promises to be Obama 3.0 — Hillary Clinton in 2016 was to be Obama 2.0, but new models don’t always live up to the original (see Windows Vista). Jen Psaki, communications director for the Obama White House and now filling a similar role during the nomination process, describes the emerging Biden brand:

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (WV) appears to have started to shift his views on the filibuster with remarks that he made on two news shows on Sunday morning. The shift from Manchin comes after he has repeatedly stated that he would not vote to end the filibuster, despite pressure from the far-Left. During the interviews on Sunday, Manchin repeatedly claimed that he was not open to ending the filibuster because he did not want to strip the minority party of their power in the Senate, but signaled that he was open to changing it.Fox News host Chris Wallace asked Manchin if he would consider “reforming the filibuster” if “Republicans

In an open letter released Sunday, Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden urged him to “honor his commitment” and include the Hyde Amendment in Democrats’ $1.9 trillion COVID-19 spending package, writing “we feel used and betrayed.” The letter states: We are very disappointed about the COVID-19 relief package’s exclusion of the Hyde Amendment, a longstanding bipartisan policy that prevents taxpayer funding for abortion. [snip] As pro-life leaders in the evangelical community, we publicly supported President Biden’s candidacy with the understanding that there would be engagement [with] us on the issue of abortion and particularly the Hyde Amendment

If you had any doubts that Meghan Markle is a manipulative piece of work, her bombshell Oprah interview Sunday night dumping on the British monarchy would set you straight. Prince Harry’s American wife accused his family of hateful racism against her baby, claimed they refused to protect her and drove her to the point of suicide. She made the incendiary and implausible charge that when she was pregnant with Archie, the royal family decreed that her unborn son would be denied the title of “prince” because her mixed race meant he might have dark skin.

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
