But they are IMPORTANT. They must be protected from the harm they have done to others. Where would Minneapolis be, if not for their feckless and incompetent "leaders"? Misfeasance. Malfeasance. Nonfeasance. All of the above. So they get their own Brown Shirts.

I can imagine the real estate market will be crashing into a big black hole because residents will be selling quickly and moving out as fast as they can as property values tank. You can also bet a used BLM protest sign that tourism will all but stop because visitors will not feel safe there. So good job city council members. I suggest you defund the city council and abolish yourselves while you are at it because you have proved yourselves completely worthless and totally irresponsible and incompetent as well as a bunch of brain dead moronic fools.

From what I hear, Trump is giving up. He is not doing anything to stop the insanity, the destruction nor anything else. Allegedly, he even conceded that Biden will probably win despite his mental breakdown. Trump is not even speaking out anymore about the state of the country. The Democrats have set it up where he is showing a 70% DISAPPROVAL rate. Now, even if it's all lies, they can still easily commit major fraud with mail-in voting and nobody will question it. It's not looking good and now I with these cities defunding police and allowing chaos to rule, there will be no chance to hold onto our Republic. There is no LEADER on our side to organize, plan motivate the public into taking a strong stand against these manipulators. We are STILL sitting on our couches in complacency crying about how they are getting away with the lies, the shaming, and the cancellations but we are doing NOTHING to change it. Sure they are huge and strong...but it takes only one person to make a difference. And if we can just get a platform to speak, maybe we could finally take action and DO something. Do we really want to give up? I would like to find a way to communicate with like-minded warriors who want to stop this. We cannot surrender now....

Pardon second post... Kind of agree with #13. Trump hasn't given up, but his opponents have been partially successful in silencing him. They have been trying since before he was elected President. It happened with the CV19 scamdemic. Trump had always been out front and leading until then. The lockdown went a long way to countering that since no public gatherings were permitted. The scamdemic killed the economy and cost tens of millions of people their jobs on his watch. The scamdemic has also been the equivalent of 50 states of emergency where the governors and mayors run things. All the race riots have also made things worse. The President has to rely on all these governors and mayors, many of whom have no intention of following his lead. The media is only too happy to cover anyone instead of Trump. From Cuomo to Fauci. The only thing we can do is get word out about Trump's opponents. These people don't believe in Democracy or any other form of representative government. Trump's opponents are Marxists, Communists, and Islamists. These people believe in dictatorships. A vote for any of them is a vote to kiss your rights and freedoms goodbye. Don't believe it? Look at what they have done in the short time since the scamdemic and the race riots have occurred.

#13, I know things look really dark right now. Trump has NOT given up. He knows very well that if you give some people enough rope, they will hang themselves. Think of it. Three council members, three citizens, requiring $4500 per day. Lots and lots for three, and nearly nothing for all the rest. Totally unsustainable!! The rage of many others will blow the roof of this situation. This city is destined to IMPLODE in a very short period of time. Trump is a businessman. He has done the math.

#23, that is Milwaukee..They aren't in any better shape. Operating on the assumption that the Police still ARE working, why didn't the council simply ask for a task force if there is a grave danger? Ok, I could barely type that with a straight face.. So the elite decided it needs protection, but no one else does. So IS there actually an election up coming for the council or is is staggered? Is there any way to address this as a local citizen? I'd like to address the concept of declining cities vis crumbling tax base. The common element is the 'need' for spending. There are very legit items that a city needs to allocate money to deal with the needs of the city. Then there are the well, extras. In our home budgets when income drops we use out judgement and decrease the extras (one would hope). Cities don't work that way. all they do is increase the tax base until the money fills the pockets...I mean coffers needed to deal with the budget. And that, of course, is where it all goes Tango Uniform. To the honest people of Minneapolis, St Louis, Seattle, Portland.. hold your councils accountable, expect less until this is dealt with. It is up to you to fix your own backyard! I feel for you, it is happening in the nearby city to me, but you have to do what you can to correct. IF you bail, if you let it fall apart all you are going to get is another Detroit.

Recently, I read with great interest James Lindsay’s essay called “The Woke Breaking Point.” There, he invites his readers to ask friends and acquaintances “What would it take for you to say that the Woke movement has gone too far?” This, he suggests, is a way to help people keep themselves honest: if you consider in advance what state of affairs, specifically, would be “too far,” then you will be able to recognize better the excesses of the totalitarian Left and more ready to resist them at the point when it becomes absolutely necessary. Reframing the question, he writes: “Ask. When is enough, enough?”

His swing almost singlehandedly saved the Affordable Care Act. A few years removed and he made a few better decisions, somewhat appeasing conservatives. But last year he helped kill the census citizenship question. Then, last week, he voted with liberals to reject President Trump's attempt to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. The court didn't say that Trump couldn't reverse the program, but that his legal reasoning wasn't up to par.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday struck down a Louisiana law regulating abortion clinics, reasserting a commitment to abortion rights over fierce opposition from dissenting conservative justices in the first big abortion case of the Trump era. Chief Justice John Roberts joined with his four more liberal colleagues in ruling that the law requiring doctors who perform abortions have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals violates the abortion right the court first announced in the landmark Roe v. Wade decision in 1973. In two previous abortion cases, Roberts had favored restrictions. The Louisiana law is virtually identical to one in Texas that the court struck down in 2016.

Strzok took the notes at a January 5, 2017 White House meeting at which he, Obama, Joe Biden, then-deputy attorney general Sally Yates, then-FBI director James Comey and Susan Rice, Obama’s national security adviser, all were present. The Washington Post’s Global Opinions editor Karen Attiah is unapologetic after deleting a tweet that claimed White women are “lucky” Black women aren’t calling for “revenge” against them. “White women are lucky that we are just calling them ‘Karen‘s,’ and not calling for revenge,” Ms. Attiah tweeted to her 185,000 followers Sunday evening. Ms. Attiah included in her tweet a list of the misdeeds she said White women “hath wrought,” including the 1921 Tulsa Massacre, the murder of Emmet Till, the exclusion of Black women from feminist movements and the fact that some 53% of White women voted for President Trump in 2016.

I was once told if we’re not careful, 2 percent of the passionate will control 98 percent of the indifferent 100 percent of the time. The more I’ve thought about this phrase, the more I believe it. There is now a small group of passionate people working hard to destroy our American way of life. Treason and treachery are rampant and our rule of law and those law enforcement professionals who uphold our laws are under the gun more than at any time in our nation’s history. These passionate 2 percent appear to be winning. Despite there being countless good people

Former president Barack Obama has been "working" on his third memoir for several years. In that time, his wife, nutrition extremist Michelle Obama, has authored and published her own internationally best-selling memoir, Becoming. For whatever reason, Barack appears unable to tolerate his wife's literary success. He has expressed an almost pathological level of annoyance at Michelle's ability to complete a memoir in under two years. It was a sore subject in 2019, when the Atlantic published a (sort of) preview of Obama's forthcoming tome, but with few details beyond the fact that the former president was struggling to keep it under 1,000 pages.
