CNN picked the wrong person to

What’s a CNN host to do when confronted with a guest who doesn’t accept The Narrative? In the case of Don Lemon interviewing former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, the answer is: tell him to “keep it down,” refuse to listen to what he is saying, and then abruptly cut him off. It’s not as if they are interested in anything that doesn’t support The Narrative. Much less explodes it with data on cops being killed. Unintentional comedy lasting 2 awkward, hilarious minutes.

Don Lemon, one of the dumbest men on Earth. Why would he feel the need to argue with such an experienced and articulate man such as Sheriff Clarke? Of course I know the answer. I only hope that before he was so rudely cut off, that Sheriff Clarke reach a few members of the overall tiny CNN audience and opened their eyes to the truth.

In my mind's eye, I saw Sheriff Clarke slap Lemonhead. Twice. That worthless CNN field hand came across as arrogant and ignorant, not calm and in control. If you want to control the narrative, don't have guests on; just spew your rhetoric and see your numbers tumble even more. And we're supposed to believe THESE people are winning. Give me a break!

Don Lemon can rage and emote and weep week after week, and when someone with a different view disagrees vehemently with him, he's all about "a message of civility" for "the people." What a hypocrite. Must have been really scary to sit that close to someone who's left the plantation and victimhood forever.

"Let's keep it civil here" can only mean that Lemon is accusing Sheriff Clark of having been uncivil right? Tell me what was uncivil, passionate yes but nothing over the top. What is "uncivil" was straying off of the plantation.

On a related note, I know that CNN and MSNBC are regularly bashed for their dishonesty and bias, but it's ABC -- especially their radio division -- that leads the pack when it comes to blatant falsehoods. The other day, ABC radio news outdid themselves by telling THREE blatant lies, not exaggerations, in one 60-second report about President Trump.

One of the commenters posited that CNN would only have Sheriff Clarke on to goad him into showing anger, hostility, etc. This would bring discredit upon Clarke and conservatives in general. I think this is correct, as Lemon kept speaking to Clarke as though Clarke was out of line, though Clarke kept his composure quite well.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday struck down a Louisiana law regulating abortion clinics, reasserting a commitment to abortion rights over fierce opposition from dissenting conservative justices in the first big abortion case of the Trump era. Chief Justice John Roberts joined with his four more liberal colleagues in ruling that the law requiring doctors who perform abortions have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals violates the abortion right the court first announced in the landmark Roe v. Wade decision in 1973. In two previous abortion cases, Roberts had favored restrictions. The Louisiana law is virtually identical to one in Texas that the court struck down in 2016.
