Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Barbara Oteng-Gyasi invited blacks in the United States to “re-settle in Ghana if they feel unwanted” during a ceremony commemorating the death of Minneapolis resident George Floyd.
According to the Independent Ghana news outlet, Oteng-Gyasi made the offer during a wreath-laying ceremony to honor Floyd.
“Racism in America continues to be a deadly pandemic, for which for more than 400 years now, our brothers and sisters in the United States of America have yearned for a cure,” she reportedly said.
“We continue to open our arms and invite all our brothers and sisters home. Ghana is your home. Africa is your home.

Come to Ghana, where you can freely practice racism against whites. But you'll also have to work-no welfare.

Ha ha ha! This is exactly like the brilliant mo e by Mitch McConnel to bring the Green New Deal to the floor for a vote! No one voted for it, calling their bluff and no one will take advantage of this invitation, again calling their bluff.
The only tactic the Left has is to compare America to Utopia and prescribe Communism is the only hope. #2 nailed it on a couple levels - importing the worst of the violent, stupid and entitled and calling their bluff.

That's what Lincoln once had in mind. I just want all who wish to live free under the constitution and work for a living to stay and all of those who don't to leave regardless of pigmentation.

I love it! Let's see how quickly Danny Glover, Al Sharptongue, or others take Ghana up on their offer. Imagine all they might be able to offer Ghana with... heck, if enough NBA players like LeBron James depart they could start the Africa League. Endless, cheap talent!

As a final reparation (reparations have actually been going on since the 1960’s Great Society era) the US Government should pay for the first class air fare and household goods related transportation expenses of all American Black folks who descended from slaves, who voluntarily apply to renounce their US citizenship, and wish to decamp to Ghana. My sense is such a migration program will not cost the US Government very much.

I wonder how many American blacks took up the chance to go to Liberia when we cut out that country in Africa for them? Those who went didn't fare any better than the rest of the Africans there.

Well, that’s a very thoughtful, heartfelt offer.
It perhaps gives some the opportunity to ask and answer the too infrequently asked question, which should always be asked, because it is the only question that matters, “Compared to what?”
People could answer the question “Is the US a terrible place for blacks compared to Ghana?”
Or, “are blacks treated better in the US by whites compared to the way they are treated by blacks in Ghana?”

As much as those Blacks who have drunk the Left's Kool-Aid and been convinced to hate America, perhaps one in a million will take up the offer to move go Ghana.

I have always noticed that no one ever condemns these African countries for having allowed their citizens to be sold into slavery in the first place .

If Oteng-Gyasi thinks Ghana would be getting a lot of talented entrepreneurs, he'd be in for one heck of a disappointment. He needs to appeal to the movers and shakers of Americas black movement, like Kaperdick and his followers in the NFL. Blacks seem to have a real herd instinct, if one goes, maybe the rest will follow.

Ghana, take another look at Liberia and rescind your invite. The kind of black people taking you up on your offer are not the kind that will make Ghana a better place to live. They will turn your country into a what President Trump said in no time; we don't want you fixing up your slave castles and starting your slave trade again. But since you're being political, Ghana, maybe you deserve it. And, didn't we have an article on here recently about the black exodus to Africa and how many of them were coming back to America? Boring.

My memory of Liberia is from a news broadcast from the 80s when the country’s president, John Doe, who was a former US Army Master Sergeant, was putting his own people to death. So , yeah, please go to anywhere in Africa. We’ll see how that works out for you.

For those dedicated black nationalists this is an invitation to use their knowledge and intellect to improve their "homeland" and the lives of its people. I would expect most black African nations would be thrilled to have such an influx of brain power and capital.

If they would give up citizenship in advance, and move permanently to Africa, I bet that private donations could raise a hefty sum for every black emmigrant after all the violence, burning and trouble that they have been causing.
