The 5-foot-5 defendant, who was taken into custody a day after Majors’ murder, had admitted to participating in the robbery that led to Majors’ death and picking the murder weapon up off the ground shortly before it was used to kill her. I guess New York never heard of "felony murder laws" the same laws Georgia is going to use to prosecute the policeman who shot Rayshard Brooks. Funny, how states' rights works in morality, isn't it?

If you are not armed at all times, you are crazy!!! If you live someplace where you are not allowed to be armed at all time, you are even crazier!!!! If this poor girl had had a nice girly 9mm with 20 rounds of hollow point, and was trained how to use it, they may have still killed her. But she sure as Hell would have taken a few of these vermin with her!!!!!

Outrageous! These low lives were supposed to be treated as adults... of course, all the riots have changed the lefty judges little mind!!! Imagine if this killer punk would have wound up dead and she was able to defend herself with a few karate chops or with a small gun. Imagine the additional riots they would have in NYC right now if 'this white privilege' was able to turn the table. Unfortunately she was outnumbered. But nothing to see here, moving right along.

FTA: no quote - the article states that he was turned over to Admin, for Children Services for 18 months but in the discretion of the agency he may be released from the limited secure facility and the agency retains the right to - but does not have to - supervise him until his 18th birthday. IOWs, he does't even do the 18 months. It seems the little murderer is sentenced to what we might call a white collar crime facility/country club and may be out in six month (what are the odds of him not being out in six months?) I didn't hear of any remorse coming from him. It seems like Judge Carol was sweet on the boy. Disgusting.

We are making an important change today in our writing style. When referring to a culture, ethnicity or group of people from the African diaspora we will use “Black,” with an uppercase B. We are making this change to NJ Advance Media’s style guide to acknowledge and respect the word represents a people with shared cultures and experiences, and not a color. The city issued an ban on any gatherings over 10 people after 9 p.m. until further notice to “preserve peace and tranquility.” A proclamation issued June 13 cited the following rationale, in part, for its decision: • The Director of Emergency Services declared an “existence of a local emergency” because the city was “potentially subject to violent protests.” • Property damage was incurred on May 30 along with “widespread acts of violence.” • A group called “OCCUPY” protested until 1:00 a.m. • The use of bullhorns at night “disrupted the tranquility” of the neighborhood.
