Some 54 scientists have resigned or been fired as a result of an ongoing investigation by the National Institutes of Health into the failure of NIH grantees to disclose financial ties to foreign governments. In 93% of those cases, the hidden funding came from a Chinese institution. The new numbers come from Michael Lauer, NIH’s head of extramural research. Lauer had previously provided some information on the scope of NIH’s investigation, which had targeted 189 scientists at 87 institutions.

The extent of Red Chinese infiltration of US institutions is astounding, and it was achieved with the help of our elected officials.

I sent a link to my biological research scientist friend, might be some extra money coming available for NIH grants for folks not doing spy work.

This may not have began with AGore's "reinvention of the government" but it was surely enhanced by it. Gore eliminated Independent Research and Development funding from military production contracts and began funnelling that money into his pet projects like global warming and renewable energy. He enriched his buddies and starved the real scientists. I lost my job and other scientists began searching for other sources of funding. Gore corrupted the system for his own gain. Anyone recall those impoverished Chinese Buddhist monks and nuns who donated hundreds of thousands of $$ to the Clinton Gore campaign?

#9, Al Gore, Sr. was in the literal employ of the Kremlin, money coming via Armand Hammer and Occidental Petroleum, which was the only western oil company that the Soviets let work inside the Soviet Union. It was so that there was a funding source "independent" of the Russian government which would support KGB activities worldwide, and especially in the USA.
And Al Gore, Jr. offered his services to Alexi Kalugin when he was the head of KGB in the USA, and Al, Jr. was in his late teens.
Both Gores, Sr. and Jr. were and are literal traitors against this country.

i think the NIH does not have the power to 'fire' university faculty. They do have the power to to cancel grants received by those faculty.
apparently, a condition attached to an nIH research grant is a disclosure requirement. and that disclosure agreement was violated by a large
number of faculty members around the U*.S. who happened to be Chinese.
Imagine that! Chinese doing the work that American faculty refuse to do??

Most are "Asian man in his 50s", obviously a racist investigation. Of course makes as much sense as calling cops racists because they arrest criminals.
