George Papadopoulos, the low-level Trump campaign aide who was railroaded in the Mueller investigation, had a creepy series of events at his home near Los Angeles, just yesterday: (Snip for tweets) It certainly sounds like something was going on. There's some sort of explanation for it, and it's not the realm of coincidences and pranksters. It sounds like someone affilated with either a government or an organization contracting with a government, such as Fusion GPS. Agree with OP. This is no coincidence. Until Trump and Barr stop dithering and start indicting, this is going to continue. See Flynn as a perfect example.

The attempt to gain entry into his house may be related to AG Barr's Spygate investigation. I doubt the deep state was behind it because it would have employed far more sophisticated means for gaining entry. Seems to point to one of the persons who is about to be indicted who didn't have the smarts to orchestrate this more carefully. Somebody obviously now knows where George and his wife live. Hopefully, they took a photo of him or their security system recorded something. Regardless, they need to go into hiding now until the situation is understood.

Apparently, Barr and Durham have got some people in the deep state panicked. Maybe even some foreigners. The British Prince, who is facing questions, might even have some deep concerns. Australia is a British entity. I wonder what evidence Papadopoulos has that is so terrifying to them?

You can bet that any action taken inside the USA by any Australian intelligence related government agent was known to the CIA before any such move was made, in accordance with the longtime “Five Eyes” intelligence sharing agreement. More likely that guy was either involved with some domestic Democrat aligned cabal of anti-Trump political operatives, or was a screwy lone wolf type trying to make a name for himself.

I smell a whiff of CNN/Wapo/NYT media types. The "we can do anything we like as investigative reporters" people. Perhaps it is part of my dislike of these contemptibles that causes me to suspect them. But I can easily picture some keener who thinks he is being oh-so-clever cooking this stunt up to snoop for "evidence from anonymous sources" to discredit the guy making waves for the deepstaters.

During World War II, Allied political leaders flashed a two-finger salute signifying a “V,” for “Victory.” Today that same salute might instead denote “V” for “V-shaped recovery,” a victory of another kind. Across the nation, as the pandemic lockdowns slowly end, the economy is picking up pace. Will it continue? Sure looks that way. Don’t be fooled by Thursday’s report on weekly jobless claims, which rose 1.51 million for the week ending June 13, causing a mild stock market sell-off after it was announced. In a striking rebuke to President Trump, the Supreme Court Thursday rejected his plan to repeal the popular Obama-era order that protected so-called Dreamers, the nearly 800,000 young immigrants who were brought to this country illegally as children. Led by Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr., the court called the decision to cancel the program known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, as arbitrary and not justified. The program allows these young people to register with the government, and if they have clean records, to obtain a work permit. At least 27,000 of these DACA recipients are employed as healthcare workers.

The takeover of a chunk of downtown Seattle — renamed the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,” or CHAZ, by one group of far-left protesters, and “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest,” or CHOP, by others — has been treated as a joke in some quarters. It’s no joke. Like it or not, the extreme leftists, social justice warriors, and anarchists are the new face of America’s big, once-great cities, a tragedy in the making. Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best said she wants her now-abandoned precinct, taken over by Black Lives Matter protesters, to be reopened under police control. Good luck with that. As tragic as officer-involved shootings of anyone is, not all of them are worth burning down a Wendy's for. For radical activists and their enablers, this act is getting old fast. The latest incident, in Atlanta, wrought a huge amount of turmoil: Atlanta police units initially responded to a 911 call reporting a suspicious person at Wendy's around 10:30 p.m. Friday. Officers found a man asleep in his car, parked in the drive-thru lane and blocking customers, according to GBI. They reportedly conducted a sobriety test, but when they attempted to arrest the man, identified as 27-year-old Rayshard Brooks, a struggle ensued.

Democrats have met the enemy, and it is the police. Well, not all police. They love the heavily armed federal police at agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency. Just days after George Floyd died in the custody of the Minneapolis Police Department, Democrats managed to compile a sweeping police reform bill that would, among other things, limit “qualified immunity” of police officers, lower the limits on what constitutes excessive force, create a national registry of police misconduct, bar the use of “no-knock” arrest warrants, and limit the transfer of military equipment to police departments. Since the beginning of the protests following George Floyd’s death at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, what critics call “cancel culture” has been operating overtime. The premise of “cancel culture” is that people should be denied access to media platforms or publicly shamed into apologizing for expressing opinions unpopular with progressive activists.
