America watches while radical leftists and aggrieved blacks riot, loot, and commit acts of violence up to murder in cities across the country. And more galling than that is the lack of effort by responsible public officials to stem the mayhem. Indeed, more than a few Democrat mayors and governors, when they are not actually encouraging the riots, make excuses for those participating in it. (snip) This is not going on unnoticed by what I'll call the 'silent majority.' They are silent because the media does not report on them. And if a reporter did ask, most would be reluctant to share their true feelings with the fake media

The BCA movement. I can feel it out there and inside of me.

Somewhat cliche but true - they have awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve!

The "cold anger" referred to here is very simple to understand.
Floyd George or George Floyd, whatever, has nothing, nada, zip to do
with it.
These rioters, etc. have been on a simmering hate and rage for a long time —
since November, 2016 to be precise. It's Trump and the rest of us
they hate — and I do mean hate. Remember . . . what's her name ? ?

It won't end with Trump's re-election, and I suspect that that "cold anger" is going to heat up considerably.
They think that they own the streets and the violence option, because historically they have. We have allowed it. Not much longer.

Not impressed with my Silent Majority fellow travelers.
I turn to facebook this morning, and the only post I see complaining about public behavior is about somebody who left dog waste at a trailhead.
I go to VDH's list of recent columns, and I see NOTHING about the anti-civilization riots.
Do you know why you're all quiet? Because you waited too long in the first place, and gave the mob the opportunity to impose its will on America.
You live under the delusion that there are two choices -- silence or leathal violence. Well guess what. They need to take your guns, because they're taking everything else from you Silent Majority while you sit on your butt the let them, and your kids watch you do it. When they're done, you won't have freedom to speak, freedom to worship, freedom to participate in public life. But you'll have your guns. Big 'effin deal.

Mayor Frey looked like a scared little boy when he went out, in his town, and mingled with the screamers.

I wish I could share the optimism of the author of this article. But I lived through the riots of the 60's and 70's. The American public for the most part didn't agree with what was going on, but remember, the GDrats held the House for 40 solid years, from 1952 until the Contract with America in 1992. They held the Senate for all but 12 of those years. So we will still need to get out all the votes not only so we can re-elect Trump but also Republicans for the Senate and House. Though God knows, half of them are pretty much useless.

Maybe...maybe not. Middle America is simply trying to find a safe way out of any/all "crisis" thrown at them.
They've put up with months of COVIDS scares and edicts. Sure, some have barked, while most compliantly put on their masks and otherwise "self-quarantined". Government has paid those unemployed handsomely. We all got our beaks wet with "free money". Very few refused the checks.
Crashed the market. Got some folks attention. Still has many in a hole with their IRA/401(k) savings. But it's roaring back, with overall losses down to a few percentage points - and now ripe for another heavy drop.
The BLM/ANTIFA riots aren't happening in places other than big cities, foreign to much of Middle America. Middle America doesn't have a race problem. Let the cities burn by their own!
Guys like Mattis and Kelly are coming off the bench to whack away at PDT's leadership and management abilities. Top "Republicans" like Dubya and Romney (and the ghost of McCain, I'm sure) are making Dump Trump noises. Expect more. And if the conditions allow, a prominent "Republican" will enter as an independent presidential "to unify the country". Meanwhile, the UNIPARTY Dems will use a Biden wipeout to box out the radicals for another few election cycles.
One only wonders what will be next off the runway with the "crisis bombers" lined up for takeoff from here to (at least) November. It's Mission:Trump...

I will never vote a straight Republican ticket but I will never vote for ANY Democrat. Some pubbies and RINOs will simply be ignored. Cold anger, probably more like cold logic.. MAGA November.

There is also a bit of satisfaction when we as the Silent Majority clean the clocks of the democrats and media on election night. Further proof that they cannot see the nose on their own faces when it comes to flyover country. We do not fit their narrative, we tend to derail their narrative. That is what happens when you prefer truth vs the agitprop of the media.

Sadly, we live in a time where the unthinkable has become tolerable; where the tolerable has become acceptable; where the acceptable has become legal. We now live in a time where the legally acceptable, barely tolerable and in some cases outright unthinkable has become praised. And, in some cases, it has even become mandatory to accept the unthinkable.

A friend posted a thoughtful FB piece on the George Floyd issue, and a bunch of leftists piled onto him, while his conservative friends (except me) stayed silent. The thread on his original post got so nasty he deleted it. I don't blame him, but I give him credit for trying. Leftists are so nasty and vicious when you disagree with them that you can't have a dialog. You might as well not bother.

It's real and it will be remembered long after George Floyd has become forgotten. I'm afraid that blacks will be considered as thugs, looters and arsonists for decades when they had the chance at becoming relevent to American society and blew it big time. Fifty years of affirmative action down the drain.

#7, if they come for guns, many gun owners will give up freely, sure. But many will not. It will be bloody. And it will stop, because it will be too costly.

It never takes a majority to overthrow a government. Much less actually. In the case of the second tier backing the revolt very few in deed. In the instant, our laws will be used against us - they have been doing this for years. We are seeing in state after state, opening the doors for the rebels. Frey's walk of shame told the story. But it was not just him.
Guns - I'm sure they have those as well as we do.
Our best hope is to support President Trump in a yuge way. Seriously. Not just for the election but for every move he makes. he has proven he is trustworthy. We need to out-shout those who are out to destroy this country, shout out to our elected to support PT in his every move he makes, and keep at it. We need volunteers being seen and heard in every state. We need volunteers for every office, we need true Americans running for office. We cannot leave it to the political parties. Both parties are corrupt. PT was who we elected, who we wanted, and we were right, but the pubbies are not supporting him. he needs us.
As in any contest, of this nature, there are sacrifices that must be made. We must be willing to give up our sacred cows. We must be willing to accept forgo government picking and choosing winners and losers. We must be willing to replace tax dollars with our paychecks. For example, support local businesses and farmers who forgo government dollars. That has been done many times in other ways. We do that already when we boycott China goods. Its not a solution that happens over night but it works.
One of the ways this situation has evolved in by our citizens disengaging from society. The internet has resulted in shrinking our world through sub-cultures.By the internet when can avoid what we don't like and concentrate on what we do like which is fine so long as it doesn't result in our waking up and finding our country is so divided that we have lost our influence.
Sorry for the rant but I don't want to lose. This world needs the USA not another communist country.

Defunding the police here in Minneapolis is insanity. Welcome Somolia 2! However, the police must stand down immediately. I have been bothered for 20 years as our police go from black and white patrol cars with Protect and Serve on the side to menacing all black military looking squad cars. The police have become WAY too militarized and will pay a heavy price if they don't get back to being servants to the public rather than authority figures! I grew up loving police officers. Now, as I'm driving down the street I see an all black (blacked out windows) car pulling up behind me (way to close) just waiting for me to hit a center line...then...ticket time!!! That has to stop. The Minneapolis Police must be trained by professionals from outside Minnesota. Our entire state is extreme left wing and can't be counted to do anything correctly!
