Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” former Secretary of State Colin Powell called President Donald Trump “dangerous” to our country.Powell said, “I never believed that the constitution was under threat until recently. I have concerns about that. We should all be attentive right now to how the rule of law is being administered in this country.”He continued, We have a constitution. We have to follow that constitution. The president’s drifted away from it. I’m so proud of what these generals and admirals have done, and others have done.”He added, “The first thing that troubled me is the whole birther movement.

The parents of a lot of slain soldiers would make that claim against you, Gen. Colin "WMD" Powell.
And I hope you've enjoyed the Christmas Cards from Scooter Libby for the last 15 years... oh, wait.

Doesn't concern him that he was attacked simply for being elected?
That people used flimsy rationale as a means for investigating?
That Rod Rosenstein admits he would not have signed off if he knew then (he did then too) what he knows now?

Powell was never a conservative or republican in my opinion. He used race to get to where he got then stopped any allusion of being anything but a liberal race baiter. He’s better suited for SNL than trying to give political advice.

Colin Powell is a liberal Democrat who voted for the Obama-Biden ticket twice. So you would expect that he would not be supporting President Trump for re-election. Powell is another reason why elected civilian Presidents should think twice and not bring active duty and retired military flag and general officers, who are always going to be unelected long time military politicians with DC UniParty Congressional rabbis, and their own usually kept undercover political agendas, into the President’s cabinet or as White House staff, as once in those high level positions they are bound to be trouble.

I too would not vote for a man that was dangerous to the Constitution, but the Secretary doesn’t give any examples of what Trump has supposedly done.
A decision (won’t vote) based on a conclusion (dangerous) with no supporting evidence.
Not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He’s spouting talking points. What is it about former SecStates (Condaleeza may be an exception)? They are not clear thinkers.

“On Biden Powell added, “I’m very close to Joe Biden in a social manner and political manner. I’ve worked with him for 35, 40 years, and he is now the candidate and I will be voting for him.”“
Just more evidence that Crazy Joe’s was correct when he said “You ain’t black” if you’re not voting for me. Powell can’t help but be a slave to Democrats. What’s strange is that Powell criticizes Trump for ignoring the Constitution but only cites Trump’s birther remarks questioning of Obama’s birth certificate when Trump wasn’t even a candidate. Isn’t free speech guaranteed by the Constitution?

I find it interesting that he can't cite the specific part of the Constitution that Trump has violated, just that he insulted some people and said that Obama wasn't born in the U.S. That's free speech, and the last time I checked, even the President had that right.

Powell, as usual, has nothing much to say that would proclaim him to be intelligent. Just drivel. But it has always been about Powell. He will kiss any butt as long as it promotes him. His stupidity and two sidedness became more evident after 'he' decided not to run for president. Has he ever read the Constitution? I doubt it. Too many words!!!

-Lied to th American people about Iraq's WMD, and got us into a war that cost many thousands of American lives and many billions of treasure

He's right. The Constitution is in danger - but not from Trump. The Constitution protects us from government excesses and oppression, but not from private excesses and oppression. Social media are depriving Americans of free speech, and the ever-increasing power of social justice is depriving Americans of their right to conduct business and private property. A new order is dawning, and Powell and company are either ignorant useful idiots or part of the New Order.

Colin Powell hasn't been a Republican for quite a while. Bush lacked a backbone through most of his second term as he tried to make peace with those who called him the same types of names that Trump is being called. And Mitt handed Obama a second term by running a poor campaign - one in which he was bare Republican enough to run as part of the GOP. None of these men understand that if they had held tougher with the Progressives that we would not have Trump now. You would think they would understand that the same MSM that loves them now used to do everything they could to denounce them. Guess they like being liked - even if it's only for convenience.

He has been tripping on the whole "birther" movement?? That made him concerned?? We never did see the real birth certificate. But it wasn't because he was born overseas, it was because he was Frank Marshall Davis' illegitimate son. He looks just like Davis and nothing like Obama Sr.
Powell has always been a Democrat at heart. He also is a globalist. He is part of the elite political class. He can't stand the fact a regular guy, like Trump, is in office and that he puts America above all outside interests.

Exactly how is our president dangerous?
Could it be he is putting Americans first, as is his duty?
Could it be that he is reforming criminal justice, making our economy stronger by bring jobs back where they used to be before globalists sold us out?
Or is it because he has eradicated ISIS without the need for lurch/Obama middle east "jobs" program?
Or are you angry that he cannot summons James Taylor to use the secret weapon against terrorists, ie sing you've got a friend....MAGA 2020!

All the supposed Republican high mucky mucks now piling on President Trump are DC insiders. They never supported Trump from the get-go so what is the big deal now? The American people elected and sent President Trump to DC to do political battle with the DC UniParty insiders and Trump has done exactly that. Clearly the insiders are worried that Trump will defeat the ultimate insider Biden and and be re-elected. That’s why the insiders are piling on Trump now.
The Black inner city “community” leftist and liberal Democrat facilitated riots all occurred in cities that have been run by asleep leftist and liberal Democrat politicians for decades, who have now awoke and are claiming that their local police departments are loaded with institutional racism and that it is President Trump’s fault. If that racism was so bad, where have all those politicians been through the years? This is the political funny season leading up to the November general election, so don’t be surprised if Black churches start getting burned down throughout the South with Democrats casting false blame on President Trump.
