Wednesday on MSNBC, Washington Post columnist George Will predicted President Donald Trump would lose in 2020, and that voters will forget him “fairly fast.”
Host Joy Reid asked, “If Republican voters listen to you and say it’s time to say no, let’s get rid of every single Republican in the Senate that they are capable of voting out, what will happen to the Republican Party? Do you foresee a time when Republicans develop amnesia about having been so solicitous of Donald Trump? What happened to that party long term?”
Will said, “I’m fairly confident that Mr. Trump will be defeated in the election. The next morning, a lot of Republicans will say,

Tell that to the armed millions of Americans who will surround the White House if Donald Trump is cheated of this election. You think you saw riots last week, you will see payback to the democrats like never seen before.

Does George lament the targeting, under ZERO evidence, of a presidential candidate, then a president-elect, and later a President of the United States?
Does he think that should just all "go away"?
If the Trump campaign can ensure they splash all of the information about how he was falsely targeted, and everyone involved has stated under oath, they didn't have any proof or evidence, I think he will sway a lot of people.
If they can, with empathy, compare this to how many people have also been falsely targeted, accused and convicted, without any evidence, he can sway more people. (I refer to Archie Williams who was convicted of a rape and spent 37 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit based on DNA evidence).
If the campaign can also point out how it's also the prosecutors, the judges, and politicians who've either condoned, accepted, or rationalized the unjust harassment, with many capitalizing on it professionally.
Trump should demand, and fund, thousands of cases to be re-examined. I'm sure the innocence project has a large cache of cases they could recommend for review.

I regret that "conservative" thinkers I once admired (e.g. George Will, Bill Kristof), or "conservatives" I voted for (e.g. John McCain and Mitt Romney) turned out to be such back stabbing scumbags.

If Will thinks that PDT is losing any support from his voters then he should think again. Every time Trump is bashed, every lie told about him, every new attempt to remove him from office, every riot and every protest only makes his supporters more anxious to reelect him.

George Will has morphed into one of the stupidest people in the media. What a moron. You have no clue what is coming do you? Will used to be one of the few in media who actually looked at history before opening his mouth. Well, try looking at the 1968 riots George and the aftermath. The idiots who started this rioting made the huge mistake of going after black targets this time, and I suspect they are going to be regretting that in the fall.

Here's my non-professional look at my county's election results. 66,000 dems. 88,000 reps. 7000 dems voted. 20,500 reps voted.
4,500 dems voted for Biden.
almost 19,000 reps voted for Trump.
It looks like a lot of Republicans voted to show support of PDT since there were not any contested Republican races.

Yes, If Trump loses the election, people will be so busy trying to figure out how to survive a 40% drop in the stock market, unemployment to match the Covid virus impact, and government regulation they know are on the way to kill off the rest of America. Mr Trump will be the least of their worries.

If Trump loses it will probably be through cheating.
But the voters will forget the GOP long before Trump.
If Trump loses then both houses in 2023 will be heavily Democrat as Republicans will have given up on the system. The GOP doesn't understand that the only thing that held them together this long was the Tea Party and Trump.n And the GOP embraced neither. Never Trumpers and other GOPers have said they would be fine as a minority party. How does 5% sound to ya.

Trump will only lose if the DemonRats cheat and commit major fraud. The massive, coordinated disinformation campaign has been digging in too. This is why WE must counter the constant attacks and lies as soon as they are broadcasted. We cannot sit on the sidelines this time. Our lives depend on our actions this election. It is no longer Republicans vs. Democrats. It is United States of America vs. Leftist Tyranny!!!
