Fox Corporation Executive Chairman and CEO Lachlan Murdoch on Monday sent a memo to employees declaring “black lives matter” in the wake of the nationwide riots spurred from the police custody death of George Floyd. “The events that have unfolded over the past week have left me shocked and saddened,” Mr. Murdoch wrote. “Each of you has been in my thoughts as we watch the tragic death of George Floyd continue to cause immense pain and spark important discussions around the country.(Snip) “The FOX culture embraces and fosters diversity and inclusion,” he contiuned. “Often we speak of the ‘FOX Family,’ and never has

Comments:

What would the narrative be if the rioting, destruction, and killing masqerading as protest was being done by "dangerous right-wing radicals fueled by the hateful rhetoric of Donald Trump" (using MSM boilerplate text there)? Would we be scolded about how white lives matter, or would there be lectures on how racist and evil we are, and how we need to upend our culture and revile our forebears?

The "Black lives matter" assertion assumes someone has claimed black lives don't matter. Who has made such a claim?? It's a variety of straw man argument, easy defended but off the point. In typical fashion, Leftists project feelings onto conservatives and put words in our mouths that aren't there. Then they act as if we really said those words. It's similar to Lesbians painting gay slurs on their own house or protesters holding up arms and yelling "don't shoot".

Are you afraid to send reporters into the 'bad' parts of American cities? Of course you are, but that isn't the real reason. The real reason is you don't care how many black people die in ratholes or how many black babies are murdered in and out of the womb.
