BET founder Bob Johnson calls for
slavery reparations, says US will remain
'separate and unequal' without them

Black Entertainment Television founder Robert Johnson elaborated on his call for the payment of $14 trillion in reparations to African-Americans Monday on "Special Report." Johnson told host Bret Baier that Americans must look at the passing of time in "total context." "Part of that context is people have a right to protest when they see injustice. That goes all the way back to Dr. Martin Luther King," he said. "But on the other hand, we have to go to the root cause of people's protesting that leads to violence, whether it is agitated violence or just violence because people feel frustrated and bitter."

I'm a slave to love. Where's my reparations? On a serious note, the Ottomans forced my ancestors into slavery for centuries in southeastern Europe. One of my ancestors was a leader of a movement to rid Europe of these militants. So do I deserve reparations from the nation of Turkey? If I do, then I'll give my share to the Armenians who were mass-murdered and stripped of their property.

Dear Mr. Johnson....Since its inception, welfare related programs have cost this country in excess of $22 TRILLION. You already received your $14 Trillion and then some, and what has it gotten us/you? Nothing except misery, broken families and dependence on a Democrat party that doesn't care about anything but your deluded vote. You've had your reparations....No more.

First the riots, now the shakedown. "Nice country you have hear. It would be a shame if something happened to it." We should respond as if a foreign enemy has attacked our Country because it has. We have harbored the infection for decades and it wears the face of many races but it's goal is the destruction of this Country and it needs to be confronted and eradicated.

The people who were slaves have been gone for a century. The people who did it have been gone for probably MORE than a century. Slavery ended almost two centuries ago. Give it a rest. This is NOT going to happen. This is pure, unadulterated BS. And by the way - if you imagine that these people were given a million dollars each --- 1) it would be all gone and things back as they are now in under two years 2) they would be asking for "more reparations" immediately thereafter. It would be a NEVER ENDING scam. NO!

Well Bob, let's talk about this. First, you were never a slave and I have never been a slave owner. But, if this comes to pass, I want my ancestors to be compensated for room and board, food, medical care, and education. Then there are the ones in the Colored Army who bore our name. I am going to need some money for horses, rifles, uniforms, and their food. Then there are the ones who got on a ship in the islands and we took them to England and Germany. Should I keep going ? They all became stinking wealthy.

S ince it’s the Fourth of July, I’m going to write about history, and, man, Woodrow Wilson’s racist patootie on a spike puts a spring in my step. Princeton stripped the name of its long-ago president from its public-affairs school. He was our worst U.S. president for long-term damage. I don’t mind tenured college professors, but, as self-important fonts of naïveté as well as specialist knowledge, they’re best kept on a short leash. Ivory towers, after all, breed a sense of unreality that can cause more harm than good. They’re not known as places where common sense thrives.

After the bakery’s owner tried to stop a black student from shoplifting, the Oberlin student senate condemned the bakery as racist and called for a boycott of its products, which Oberlin stopped purchasing for a time. A jury awarded the Gibson family $44 million in damages (reduced to $33 million by operation of Ohio law). The case is on appeal to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. A s Americans discuss black livelihood in the context of recent high-profile black deaths at the hands of police officers, a merciless villain is quietly snatching away thousands of black lives each year: infant mortality. To be sure, medicine has gone a long way toward keeping black babies alive. In 1850, the black infant-mortality rate was 340 per 1,000 (compared with 217 per 1,000 for whites). Still, despite progress, last year over 7,000 black babies died in the United States before reaching one year of age — one baby for every 87 born. Troublingly, the infant-mortality rate is far higher for blacks than for other races:

In 2008, the Harvard University law professor helped Maxwell’s perverted pal Jeffrey Epstein secure a plea deal with federal prosecutors in Florida while the sexual predator was under investigation for abusing underage girls. Dershowitz also is embroiled in a lawsuit himself against Virginia Guiffre, who claims Epstein kept her as a teenage sex slave and forced her to sleep with both Prince Andrew and Dershowitz. Public opinion polls appear to portend a Biden victory in November, but the former Vice President will almost certainly succumb to the same affliction that brought about Hillary Clinton’s electoral demise — anemic enthusiasm among minorities. No Democrat can win without the robust backing of this bloc of voters, and Biden’s dubious record on racially sensitive issues combined with more recent blunders, has rendered this support noticeably tepid. He also lacks the support of influential black leaders like civil rights lawyer Leo Terrell, who took to Twitter on Tuesday to write: “If the presidential election was held today, I would vote for #DonaldTrump.”
