Defend, or Encourage Rioters

Why do they keep doing it? Decade after decade, generation after generation, progressives keep making the same, elemental mistake: They downplay, excuse, and in extreme cases even encourage urban rioters.
We’ve been down this road before, and it’s a straight stretch of highway with no twists whatsoever. It would take a moral moron to get lost on it, and yet somehow progressives keep managing to do so. This isn’t hard. The people of Minneapolis are right to be angry about the savage death of George Floyd, but rioting will not bring him back or honor his memory, and the riots will make everything even worse. The Democrats and the media

"People are more important than property" is a statement being used by officials with authority. Excuse, but it is not up to you to decide what is more important. Yes, in our personal lives, people should be more important than assets. I am making that distinction because if you are in an official position of authority, you should be viewing people and property of importance. You are there to protect, serve, and provide leadership for those kind of situations. A person has no right to harm a person or property but a person does has EVERY RIGHT to defend themselves when harm is being caused.
So if you don't understand my point, they are equally important in protecting and serving. As more and more Democrats are put into positions of authority, the more a person sees they have problems discerning right and wrong. Their wisdom is lacking.
If a person has read Ecclesiastes in the Bible, the understanding will come that wisdom comes from God only. If you belong to the party that is trying to take God out of society, you can probably do the math. . .

The "protests" are all premised on the same assumptions-- adherents have a "right" to a perfect existence where no random bad ever happens to them. When it does, we are all guilty of not "caring" enough to have prevented it. These are the core beliefs of toxic narcissists.
I'm waiting for the a tort lawyer commercial for people who have had flat tires.

"Ransacking Minneapolis does not advance black America’s cause."
No. This article makes a nice rational argument. Unfortunately, there are those who are irrational. Then there are those (dems, Black leadership, media) who are all too eager to use irrationality to pursue goals (winning elections, power, control) that have nothing to do with Black issues and in fact pursue objectives harmful to Blacks. To these people, the rioters are useful idiots.

What happened to, "Stay at home. We are all in this together"? Shut down the rioting cities and arrest anyone out on the street. Kind of like law abiding citizens going to a beach in CA or NY.

"People are more important than property"
From the same people who encourage and celebrate abortion and have no problem with the abortionists selling baby parts to make a profit so they can purchase more property.

We are not excusing, defending, or encouraging rioters. Left wing activitists, Antifa, Black Lives Matter, communists, and others are doing that----and they are paid to do it by Soros and other left wing groups. So National Review, please forward your advice to them, and see how easy it is. Since National Review thinks they have the answer, run for office and fix the problem, since it is easy. Others, mostly the we's referred to, think the answer is enforcing the law, so those that pay those rioters are put in jail. When Soros and the others paying them are jailed, that is when justice will be served.

Kapernick says 'REVOLTING , etc' - problem is there is no such word used as he stated. He is revolting. That is the proper usage.

The rioters are so stupid that they even attacked a CNN building, one of their biggest cheerleaders. We ramped up to fight COVID-19 in a couple of short, frantic weeks. It would be interesting to see how quickly we can build offshore prison facilities like Gitmo to house those who hate America and its citizens. Let them riot for food and water instead of big-screen TVs.

Quoted in the article: “If you cannot attain JUSTICE by engaging the system, then you must seek other means of changing it. That’s not a wish; it’s a premonition.” (emphasis added.)
Justice is protecting the safety of people and their property by swiftly and consistently punishing those who would do them harm. That has happened in this case. Justice has been done.
But the Left, AS IT ALWAYS DOES, is redefining the definition of the word. To them, justice is right to more free stuff because somebody exercised free will in the wrong direction to there interests.
These are the Minority Report riots. They are burning you cities down because you didn't fly to Minneapolis and preemptively stop an incompetent cop from injuring a street criminal. That's a particularly attractive thing to be fighting for, because, like control of man-made global warming, it's not demonstrably unprovable and can never happen. Which means they get to keep on doing what they're doing.

Shoot on sight would probably be a good deterrent as well.
