Following President Trump’s statement the federal government would be designating Antifa as a domestic terrorist group, Attorney General William Barr issued a statement Sunday afternoon saying that Antifa and other groups participating in the rioting marring the George Floyd protests would be treated as domestic terrorists. Barr also said with regard to lax state and local governments, “It is time to stop watching the violence and to confront and stop it.” Statement via the Justice Department: Attorney General William P. I don't want to treat them. I want them put in jail. Please put those that organized the riots and paid them to do it in jail first. That would impress. Not much else would. And next time, call out the national guard before they burn the city down, instead of after. Thank you.

Could this be happening simply because obama and company are about to go down for their crimes, and they're trying to get people all riled up now to make it look like the people in the streets are there because they support them?

They were burning and looting in suburban Chicago this afternoon. There was a shooting in North Riverside, the Best Buy was looted and a liquor store and Olive Garden burned. All the way west to Aurora (about 40 miles west of the city) there was sporadic looting of electronics stores (surprise!) along I-88. To the south of Chicago it was worse. Ironically, my husband and I were making the rounds of the garden centers today and our last stop was Home Depot. We had the nicest conversation with a group of fellow shoppers, first, about my Hibiscus, then about all of this craziness with the virus and our suffocating masks, and then about the rioting. We were all about the same age and had seen senseless riots going back to when we were little kids. We all agreed that it was criminal and counterproductive. We were the only white people in our little group. We wished each other good luck in the garden and went home. We remarked in the car that we live in a pretty nice place where people actually get along pretty well. We no sooner walked in the door when our youngest called warning us to stay in. Every place that we visited today, including the last, was shut down and evacuated. I am just sick over this...AND...the ignorant posts made by some of my "friends" on Face Book. "We MUST get rid of Trump! Did you all know that he has not said ONE WORD about the killing of George Floyd of offered condolences to his family???" They are absolute morons.

If they really want to find ANTIFA affiliated operatives they should just look at the leftist and liberal Democrat Mayors of the inner cities where the criminal rioting has taken place. When you read between the lines of what those Mayors have been advocating and saying, it is clear that they are with the rioters by slow walking any effective police response as the rioters freely without any threat of arrest burn down and loot businesses in their cities.

in 1968, during the race riots after MLK Jr was killed, Chicago Mayor Daley said that those people burning buildings would be shot. Attorney General Ramsey Clark, in LBJ's administration only because LBJ wanted to make room on the U.S. Supreme Court for Thurgood Marshall, appointed Ramsey clark as AG, which forced his dad,. Tom, to leave his seat on the Court because of the conflict of interest. Ramsey Clark said, 'human rights are more important than property rights' conveniently overlooking the human rights of the occupants of buildings being torched.

Took them long enough. Now let's assign the same status to BLM. And a little education couldn't hurt. Democrats lead the ignorant to believe that America invented slavery, when in fact slavery has existed throughout humanity. And which countries were the first in history to outlaw it? That would be the U.K. followed by the U.S.A. American blacks need to learn this.

In the aftermath of the Minneapolis riots, the region now risks falling into a perpetual cycle of economic blight similar to comparable urban areas previously scarred by urban mayhem. In the summer of 1967, violent riots erupted and lasted for five days in Detroit, between the city’s black residents and the local police department after law enforcement raided a bar on the city’s Near West Side. Detroit was still recovering from a previous race riot 24 years prior. “It stands to reason that businesses will be far less likely to invest in areas where there's a fear of social unrest. That's presumably the biggest long-run negative effect,

What began as a peaceful protest in Cleveland on Saturday—over the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer— turned violent as the day progressed, prompting Mayor Frank Jackson to issue an 8 p.m. curfew and to request National Guard reinforcements to protect the city from rioters. Corbo’s, a tiny family-owned bakery in the city’s historic Playhouse Square district, took matters into their own hands, brandishing their firearms when rioters came calling. In a video captured by Rob Rash, rioters and looters can be seen approaching Corbo’s Bakery, taunting the owners and threatening them with iron rods and a large pylon with a heavy metal base.

The cider-gulping, mustached-waxed, butterfly-tatted antifa and Black Lives Matter rioters nearly turned their looting and car-burning sideshow into a Dallas-level bloodbath on Saturday afternoon. In 2016, in retaliation for police shootings nationwide, a protester and trained sniper, shot 12 Dallas police officers, killing five. In Seattle, riotous thugs “honored” the memory of George Floyd, who was killed while in Minneapolis police custody earlier this week, by blocking Interstate 5 for most of the day in the busiest downtown portion of the freeway. The death by cop of George Floyd in Minneapolis was grotesque, a clearer example of police brutality that has otherwise rarely been filmed for all to see. Even if, as has been reported, Floyd did not die of asphyxiation or strangulation as it appeared, his death was without a doubt caused by that officer’s cruel and unnecessary action and the inaction of his fellow officers who stood by and watched. That officer has been charged with third degree murder and the other officers have been fired. Judicial due process will ensue, both state and federal.
