Joe Biden says "The Breakfast Club" host Charlamagne tha God was "baiting" him leading up to his controversial "you ain't black" remark during their interview last week. The presumptive Democratic nominee was pressed Friday by CNN anchor Don Lemon on what kind of "leader" he would be as president for black Americans in the wake of his May 22 comment and, this week, his sentimental response to the tragic death of Minneapolis man George Floyd. "The leader I've always been," Biden told Lemon.

Have you read in the Bible that what comes out of your lips comes from your heart? Joe Biden, you have excuse after excuse ready for use when you say something disgusting like this. I look at your actions from previous years and you were not baited in anything. This is your lack of character.

It's another example of Joe not being able to handle even the slightest critique. The Breakfast Club is Democrat-friendly but does ask some decent questions of its guests. Crazy Joe had no idea how to turn these questions to his advantage. Dems better keep him locked in the basement until Nov. 3.

Sociopathic narcissists never accept responsibility for their actions. They are blameless, always. Biden is a repulsive man, a pathological liar, a typical democrat, and I believe “Dr.” Jill Biden wants to be First Lady more than she cares about this travesty of putting a man with obvious onset dementia on public display for all to watch his obvious cognitive decline. To my mind, she is cruel. Or maybe as the brilliant Whoopi Goldberg suggested, she wants to be Surgeon General.

I get it that it is great sport to hold Old Quid Pro Quo Joe up to ridicule. And I agree he deserves all of it to some extent. However, some of us who have dealt with relatives in the beginning throes of Parkinsons, Alzheimers or just plain old age senility and we recognize these symptoms. A confused thought process, rising & then lowering of emotions that don't warrant it, snapping at innocent parties, and yes ... even meanness and name calling. Then, following chastisement, the oldster gets sullen and sulky, has hurt feelings and complains out loud they are misunderstood and now unloved. It never gets better, it only gets slowly (sometimes quickly) much worse. His family should be ashamed. But guess what? Blacks will still vote in droves for Joe and other Dems despite everything Trump has done for them.

Really doubt Charlamagne is a Biden supporter so he may have been baiting him. That doesn't given Biden any justification for his remark however. Biden screwed up, and now refuses to take responsibility. Typical politician. Charlamagne won the round because he got Biden to come out of his shell and show the real Joe Biden which isn't pretty, and now everybody knows the real Joe Biden.

American hope and horror 4 replies

Few American days were starker in their contrasts of hope and horror. Saturday, after all, saw the dichotomy of a bold American leap into space, and a brutal lurch into profound civil unrest. The horror of mass rioting in more than 30 major cities absorbed the nation's attention. Hundreds were arrested, perhaps thousands, with some of the nation's most famous streets became scenes of unbridled battle. The saturation of cell phone video cameras gave us a running tally of the mayhem. Imagery of burning police cars, smashed out windows, and warring Americans. Of camouflaged soldiers moving to support overwhelmed civil authorities. Of hyperventilating partisans on Twitter.

Campaign staff for Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden are bragging about their recent donations to a far-left organization that bails out rioters arrested in Minneapolis. Reuters reported that 13 members of the Biden campaign recently posted on Twitter about their donations to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, a group that uses such donations to pay bail fees of rioters arrested in violent protests. A Biden campaign spokesman declined to answer whether the donations to the Antifa-aligned group were officially coordinated with the Biden campaign.

There is no right to burn down your neighborhood, but it’s always an option. Freedom means choice, and real freedom must include the choice of self-destruction — but not destroying someone else’s neighborhood. Especially not when the neighborhood is mostly black and poor. That is what the privileged whites of antifa are doing by instigating disorder and destruction in Minneapolis’s 3rd precinct and elsewhere. ‘Every single person we arrested last night, I’m told, was from out of state,’ says Melvin Carter, Mayor of St Paul. Why do they keep doing it? Decade after decade, generation after generation, progressives keep making the same, elemental mistake: They downplay, excuse, and in extreme cases even encourage urban rioters. We’ve been down this road before, and it’s a straight stretch of highway with no twists whatsoever. It would take a moral moron to get lost on it, and yet somehow progressives keep managing to do so. This isn’t hard. The people of Minneapolis are right to be angry about the savage death of George Floyd, but rioting will not bring him back or honor his memory, and the riots will make everything even worse. Joe Biden needs a running mate. The presumptive Democratic nominee for president has spent the pandemic campaigning on his own, usually from his basement. Frequent blunders, glaring lapses in memory, and even saying during an appearance on The Breakfast Club, "If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or for Trump, then you ain't black," are enough to make a supporter cringe. It's not a good look. In March, Biden announced that he would select a woman as his running mate. The pandering was exhausting from Day One. Joe Biden’s questionable competence demonstrates Democrats’ unquestioned faith in the Swamp. Biden’s recent mega-gaffe was just further evidence that his supporters do not expect Biden to govern the government; they expect the government to govern him. Therefore, their nominee not being up to the presidency is not a negative, but a positive, to Democrats — it guarantees he will not get in the way. That’s it?! Transcripts of the infamous calls between Michael Flynn and then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak reveal what was already known: The conversations between an incoming administration official and a foreign representative weren’t treason, they were perfectly normal. The Obama administration had just sanctioned Russia for its meddling in the 2016 election. Flynn is requesting that Kislyak lobby to keep Russia’s response “reciprocal” because he didn’t want things to escalate — particularly in the fresh days of new leadership.
