After a week of gaffes, it's happened. Joe Biden is dropping in the polls. According to Newsweek: Former Vice President Joe Biden's lead over President Donald Trump has fallen by three points over the last week, according to new polling data. The latest survey by Reuters and Ipsos found that Biden led Trump by six points among registered voters, with 45 percent backing the challenger and 39 percent favoring the incumbent. The former vice president also had a four-point lead among Independent voters. A third of the group (33 percent) said they would back Biden, while 29 percent said the same of Trump.

Comments:

That enormous mask, which was huge enough to have covered the massive behind of Nadler the Hutt, was not being worn to "protect" Dementia Joe. It was being worn to say, "Look at me!! I'm wearing my mask!!" It couldn't have been more obvious if it had been emblazoned with "Screw you, Trump!" across the front!!

Always national polls where CA and NY over weigh flyover country. But, as far as the Electoral College is going, Trump is going to win in a landslide.

I'm hoping Trump will take California. It was my daydream in 2016. Regular schmoes who didn't vote or just voted Dem because everyone in their family and friends did are getting a crash course in socialist utopia. Lots of them don't like it. An elderly friend, life-long Dem, asked me what the heck was going on - all of them were promising free everything for everybody. I don't think she's the only one questioning the decisions made by Gruesome Newsom. California for Trump 2020!

We are still fighting and not going to give up!!! California, time to turn RED (Republican--NOT Communist!). RED = Reject Every Democrat!! No more BLUE = Bigoted Lying Underhanded Evil-doers.

President Trump has the courage to say what needs to be said about what happened in MN. He needs to point out that things like this continue to happen in Democrat states, Democrat cities, managed into the ground by Democrat politicians. It is beyond time for blacks in America to make a change. They need to reject every single Democrat in America because they do not appreciate their loyalty and votes but instead work to keep them as a permanent underclass. Let’s have this debate now!

I like Monica Showalter, but I think she's reading too much into this blip in the polling. Let's not kid ourselves, we're in trouble. North Carolina and Arizona could well be lost. No 2016 blue states are going to go red this time around. The three rust belt states Trump won in 2016 - WI, MI and PA - have aggressive Dem governors (all elected in 2018,reflecting dissatisfaction with Trump) who will use every available tactic - vote harvesting, vote-by-mail - to see to it that their states revert to the "D" column. Don't make the mistake of using the last war as a guide. 2016 was what it was, but four years of media-fueled BS and tumult have made more of a difference than we'd like to believe. I earnestly hope I'll be proven dead wrong about that.

Increasingly possible that Plugs will be replaced by convention time. Also, it looks like this pandemic backfired on the Chicoms, the dims, and the msm. It gave folks in the blue states here plenty of opportunity to experience socialism at its best and now some of the lefty folks with a brain cell have put 2 and 2 together. While I don't expect my mafia birth state of Illinois to flip, other blue states whose lefty citizenry have been put through the ringer will have figured it out. This whole thing is weird. So many people have contracted this virus, but, I still have no friends or family who have had it. Services and business in Western Colorado where I'm at are fully restored. Except for having to wear a mask at the gym and the grocery store, everything is at it was before. But, the poop sure hit the fan earlier this week when our governor Polis discovered the Colorado Department of Public Health was cooking the books and presto chango, the number of reported fatal virus cases here decreased by 25% the very next day. Even, the Denver msm struggled with how to bury the story.

Monica, you are looking at polls? What a waste of time. So they are drifting in our direction. Why should we believe them now any more than we did before? What should we think when 2 weeks before the election there is a 90% chance that Biden will win and he is ahead in the polls by 8 points? Break it down like this: Women are unhappy with Gropey Joe's Reade encounter. Blacks are already #Blexiting and now Joe has gaffed his way into racially insulting them. Youth are not going to be enthused with a senile, soon to be octogenarian. Hispanics are also drifting toward Trump. Bernie Bros don't like Biden or the dem party. People don't trust Biden's ability to rebuild the economy. Biden's mental abilities are waning to the point of being alarming. The dem party is fractured and largely enervated. A major scandal is about to break over BO & Joe's administration with proven evidence and likely indictments and there is no Comey or Lynch to protect them like for Hillary's email issue. Overall, Biden is weaker and more exposed than Hillary was in 2016. She lost. Trump has presided over a spectacular economy that is likely to have started a rebound by November. Trump has brought back manufacturing jobs. Trump has been working to bring China to heal, something now very positively received. Trump decimated ISIS in months (When BO/Biden couldn't get the job done in years). Trump was an uncertainty in 2016 but has governed Conservatively and has strong and energetic support from Republicans. Trump did several Conservative things to solidify his standing; judges, immigration, trade deals, etc. Trump significantly reduced regulations. Trump eliminated the BOCare mandate penalty. Trump energy policies have made us energy independent. Trump pushed through tax cuts that the middle class DID get and recognize as a positive. Trump is favored to rebuild the economy (after the virus impacts). Trump defeated Mueller and impeachment when his opponents could come up with NO evidence of wrongdoing. Trump has kept many of his campaign promises. He does what he said he would do. Trump is far stronger than he was in 2016 and has the corrupt bureaucracy mostly on the run. He won then. Stronger Trump with a united and excited party vs. weaker Biden with a fractured, listless party. You don't need fake polls to figure this out.

Biden in trouble? Biden backed into the nomination by process of elimination. He didn't win anything. Guess the lefties are still pulling for Comrade Bernie or some other hardcore lefty. We have seen some weak candidates for President in the last few elections like Hillary, McCain, Romney, but Biden seems even weaker than them. Instead of being out on the campaign trail, he has to hide in his basement. He cannot get any publicity. Trump is facing the same hurdle, but knows how to get everyone talking about him. The democrats had over 20 candidates for President, and the dirty little secret was no one of them was qualified.

Crazy Uncle Joe will be replaced, of course. That said: IMO all Dems are now compromised by the current round of senseless riots over George Floyd's murder. Remember that the 1964 Watts and 1968 Chicago riots contributed to Lyndon Johnson's "I will not seek, nor will I accept" resignation, Hubert Humphrey's defeat, and Richard Nixon's election. Biden is the Dem throw away candidate for this election cycle. The fourth column, aka the media. is holding him up with fake and rigged pols. Cuomo would be stupid to run in 2020 against Trump and lose. Then he'll be forever considered a loser. No Dem is going to beat Trump in 2020. Period. I would love to see all the bad Democrat governors around the country get the boot in their state. Add to Republican wins, 30 new seats in the House and handing Pelosi her walking papers as Speaker. Then in the senate increase the total Republican senators to 56. That's what I expect and it will require hard work and support by all.

On May 27, the American coronavirus death toll rose to six figures: 100,000 lives lost. That’s a very sad number, made sadder when we ponder that the virus prevents loved ones from saying goodbye in person and makes any funeral an extremely small event. America’s largest national newspapers have all made dramatic front pages out of the number. The New York Times came first on Sunday, filling its entire front page and three more pages with names of the victims. USA Today followed on Wednesday with an entire front page in black and white and photos of the dead. The Washington Post waited until we reached the horrible number

The idea that minorities vote Democrat is an ingrained assumption of American politics. But Mike Garcia — the son of a Mexican immigrant — is proof that Hispanic Republicans are alive and well in Donald Trump’s GOP. Earlier this month, Garcia flipped a Democratic congressional district in California — the seat formerly held by scandal-scarred “throuple” Rep. Katie Hill — into the Republican column for the first time in 22 years. Garcia, a 44-year-old former Navy fighter pilot, is now a newly sworn-in member of Congress, representing a district where more than half the population is nonwhite, 35 percent of it Hispanic —

Joe Biden refers often to his roots in middle and working-class America. Speaking in his birthplace of Scranton, Pa., last year, Biden stated: “We were raised to believe family, loyalty, treating everyone with dignity is what we should do, because a lot of us knew what it was like not to be treated with dignity by people with wealth.” However sincere his personal narrative may be, Biden’s actual politics tell a different story. Somewhere along the way, Biden chose to embrace globalism and the priorities of global wealth over the interests of the American worker. Comfortable in the highest reaches of government,

President Trump is heading back to the campaign trail after a three-month coronavirus hiatus. The president’s re-election effort is hosting two in-person fundraisers — one in Texas and one at his New Jersey golf resort — in early June, The Hill reported Saturday. Only 25 supporters will be allowed to attend — and each of them will have to pass a coronavirus test on the day of the event, administered by the White House medical unit and paid for by Trump’s fundraising committee. The group should have plenty of cash to cover the bill. Tickets for the outdoor gathering at the Trump National Golf Club on June 13 in Bedminster, New Jersey,

Video uploaded to Twitter shows the rabble-rousers descending on the iconic breakfast chain before an ad hoc group decision was made to leave it alone. “Not the Waffle House,” several protesters cried, with others shouting, “No, no.” Another man said, “Protesters decide to leave Waffle House alone. The riots were ignited after George Floyd was killed at the hands of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin on Monday.

No less than the New England Journal of Medicine has dealt a body blow to America’s growing army of mask fascists with the news that “wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection.” The reasons for this are both simple and logical: We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. Public health authorities define a significant exposure to Covid-19 as face-to-face contact within 6 feet with a patient with symptomatic Covid-19 that is sustained for at least a few minutes (and some say more than 10 minutes or even 30 minutes).

Should Trump get his druthers, social media companies will be liable for the content published on their platforms. In other words, Cousin Merle's inane Facebook ramblings will now be Mark Zuckerberg's problem, along with the darkly meandering thoughts of billions of other souls. Twitter set this gamesmanship in train by attempting to fact-check a claim by the president that mail-in ballots are ripe with fraud.
