Good news: Ric Grenell won’t

Having proven himself a gutsy, crafty, fearless warrior able to engage and stare down the worst the deep state has to offer as acting DNI, bigger things lie ahead for Ric Grenell than a return to his “mere” ambassadorship to the dominant power in Europe. (snip) Here is a hint as to what lies ahead for Ambassador Grenell, coming from President Trump’s interview with another fearless figure, Sharyl Attkisson (snip) If it keeps going the way it's going, I have a chance to break the deep state. (snip) Another hint came from Joe DiGenova, who has proven to be the most insightful and informed commentator on Obamagate.

Grenell has ALWAYS been extraordinary and I truly hope Trump realizes how smart and COURAGEOUS the man is and gives him his due. (He was an extraordinary ambassador too Germany as well: calm, intelligent and effective.)

As much as I enjoy listening to Joe diGenova and his wife, Valerie, i believe that they are used by senior FBI, DoJ and possibly WH officials to spread the hopeful word that indictments for a host of Obama directed illegalities are about to be issued. Then, weeks turn into months and then months into 3+ years and still not a single indictment or guilty plea. But by telling us that justice is close a hand, we’re content to wait. And wait. But waiting for these never to be fulfilled charges turns into frustration. Now the word from Joe is “June”, which will surely come and go without any charges being brought. If John Dunham actually has impaneled a grand jury in Hartford, there would be sightings of Clapper, Brennan, Comey and other targets. Instead, nothing. And i don’t believe Wuhan virus face masks prevent the press from identifying them, their attorneys and their black SUVs.

I suspect Trump May choose Grenell as VP and successor. Much as he values and respects Mike Pence, he’s going to need another bomb-thrower to complete the destruction of the Deep State. I think he has made that pretty clear.

From your keyboard to Trump's ear #1. Grenell has been a most useful and fearless warrior on the nation's behalf, and Trump's as well. Could be that Wray figures that his little foot dragging investigation will save his bacon. Now that both Barr and Trump are on the same page regarding Wray, his resignation as Ambassador bodes well for the determined cleanup warrior.

If the FBI Director were elected, I think Grenell would beat Wray 100 to none.

Fox News, and other cable networks, run a COVID death count ticker on the side or bottom of the television screen just as they show the major stock indices during the business day. Why are they so obsessed with deaths from the Chinese virus? (snip) As states and cities reopen, expect each new death to be trumpeted by the media, with panel discussion by “experts” discussing Trump’s recklessness and disregard for American lives. Dr. Deborah Birx, has already noticed and it’s no coincidence that major media outlets are in no hurry to interview her lest she let the death count cat out of the bag.

President Trump is an extremely smart man who calibrates his speech to about the seventh-grade level in order to make sure all Americans, not just excessively verbal college graduates, understand him. His uncomplicated speech patterns lead leftists to the erroneous conclusion that Trump is stupid. That mistake, plus Trump Derangement Syndrome, explains why leftists instantly denigrated the predictions Trump made when the virus first broke in America. Before Sunday, of Trump’s three most significant predictions, two proved correct. Now there’s news out of England that the virus’s low infection rate is making it hard to put together a vaccine trial

The headline of a recent Baltimore Jewish Times article reads as follows: "Jewish Republicans Tackle a Thorny Question: What To Do About Republicans Like Steve King?" A saner question might be, "Why should Jewish Republicans — or any Republican, for that matter — have a problem with Iowa congressman Steve King?" Certain Republican insiders, using The Republican Jewish Coalition as a wedge, are trying their damnedest to defeat King in a June 2 primary. In doing so, they not only threaten to unseat one of Israel's most solid defenders in Congress, but also risk creating a backlash against Jews.

From the beginning of the Michael Flynn case, Judge Sullivan has been hostile to Flynn. By December 2018, based upon a misreading of the facts, Sullivan accused Flynn of conduct amounting to treason and said that he felt “disdain” and “disgust” for what he believed Flynn had done. Sullivan’s behavior, however, went from hostile to bizarre when the Department of Justice, having uncovered massive wrongdoing the FBI’s and DOJ’s handling of the Flynn matter, moved to dismiss the case. On Saturday, though, Judge Sullivan managed to escalate from bizarre to . . . well, maybe paranoid is the correct word.
Latest warmist scheme: Record ‘climate change’

Perhaps inspired by the success of Coronavirus fearmongering in impoverishing the formerly prosperous West, global warming enthusiasts are beginning to agitate to list “climate change” as the cause of death on death certificates. The widely observed practice of listing Coronavirus as the cause of death for anyone who died with it, not necessarily of it, has worked wonders in scaring people into accepting previously unheard-of abrogation of constitutionally guaranteed rights. The seed for this propaganda offensive was just planted in a spinoff publication of The Lancet, the formerly prestigious British medical journal that has fallen to the forces of political correctness.

Watching an actress worth $200 million go into an orgiastic state because Dr. Anthony Fauci, the "coolest guy on the planet" has agreed to chat with her and pontificate about his lucrative, 40-year-old pet theory on vaccines, is beyond depraved. That's what happened when fading Hollywood A-lister Julia Roberts put on a serious-looking pair of specs and "interviewed" Fauci in the fawning Hollywood style. Roberts, an actress, outdid any fawner in the entertainment industry press. And it was disgusting. After all, 39 million Americans are out of work

Kayleigh McEnany is only 32 and has been the White House press secretary for just six weeks, but she’s already proving herself to be one of the best press secretaries in remembered history. This is impressive considering that, in following Sarah Huckabee, she has had big shoes to fill. Over and over, when Democrat party operatives disguised journalists try to catch her with “gotcha” questions, McEnany comes back at them with facts. On Friday, McEnany hit the White House press corp with a homework assignment intended to get them to direct some of their questions to Obama. McEnany’s gift is that, like Trump himself, she’s a happy warrior.

Governor Andrew Cuomo’s nursing home mandate, which helped to cause the deaths of thousands of patients, is just the tip of the iceberg. The residual effects from the governor’s onetime decision to force nursing homes to accept virus-positive patients will soon form an avalanche of problems too insurmountable to overcome. As usual though, it’s the mainstream media -- both left and right -- that gets to pick winners and losers when it comes to any unfolding story. This is a shame. Not only do the media often push misinformation about crucial issues, they are obsessed with theoretical outcomes and not actual causes.

It looked like a good day for General Michael Flynn when the Department of Justice, having learned how corrupt the previous administration’s case against Flynn was, moved to dismiss the prosecution. (snip) On Thursday, the appellate court, acting through Judges Karen Henderson, Robert L. Wilkins, and Neomi Rao, issued an unexpected order (snip) Although I hate optimism when staring at this type of order, the fact that the court wants briefing suggests that it’s inclined to grant the mandamus petition. Otherwise, it could simply reject the petition without giving a reason or, perhaps, could say the petition is premature

I was looking for articles showing that those who predicted deadly failure due to Governor Brian Kemp's decision to open Georgia were wrong. I found such an article at Business Insider, a widely read online news outlet. Diving into the article, though, revealed that it wasn’t reporting the news at all. Instead, it provided a perfect example of how the media shape and distort the news in service to a Democrat narrative. When Governor Kemp announced three weeks ago that he would start opening up Georgia, the media had a field day.

It happens in the Trump White House. It happened I think 16,000 times the year before last. What’s a crime is leaking it, but unmasking isn’t.
