Cannot bring myself to open up this article. OP's post tells me all I need to know. What a lowlife, patronizing piece of crap this Biden is. Sad to say, but even if PDT makes a few inroads with black voters about 85%, maybe more, will vote for Biden - believing that they are somehow empowering themselves.

Both the host and Biden made very racist comments during this interview. I thought blacks wanted to be judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character, but I guess I was mistaken. If Biden wants to be elected to lead and unite America he needs to drop the identity politics. Not all blacks think alike despite what Biden expects.

Bet Joe can't name 3 specific things, policy items, he's done since he was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1972. That would be 48 years, or about 2 generations, FOR African-American communities. Trump mentioned, "what have you got to lose" by voting for him, and boy did his policies deliver with the lowest African-American unemployment ever, and that was in a 3-year period. I'll bet he can do it again, as long as he also maintains the Senate, and takes back the House.

HBO host Bill Maher argued that impeaching President Trump turned out to be a mistake because it "emboldened him." The host's remarks came during a conversation with director and liberal activist Michael Moore, as they both argued that the president has gotten out of control since he was impeached by the House of Representatives and acquitted by the Senate. Maher went as far as to say that “impeachment turned out to be a horrible thing,” explaining that doing so set forth the course of action that has resulted in Trump firing a multitude of inspectors general whom he claimed to no longer trust to fill the position.

The city is joining others around the world in begrudgingly authorizing its homeless encampments by marking safely distanced spaces for tents and other makeshift shelters. In San Fransisco’s Civic Center, about 80 tents are now lined in tidy rows on a wide street near San Francisco City Hall, part of a “safe sleeping village” opened last week. The village is one of two Mayor London Breed has planned to open, with another coming to the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood.

Ratcliffe will replace Richard Grenell, who has been the acting director — Grenell has held the post since February, while retaining his role as U.S. ambassador to Germany.Unfortunately, for Democrats, Ratcliff is expected to maintain the same commitment to transparency as Grenell, who reinforced that stance in a Twitter dust-up with Rep. Stay-home orders that extend too long could cause the U.S. “irreparable damage,” Dr. Anthony Fauci warned Friday. Strict crackdowns on large gatherings and other orders, such as for home quarantines, were needed when the coronavirus first hit the nation, but those rules can now begin to be lifted in many parts of the country, Fauci said during an interview on CNBC. “I don’t want people to think that any of us feel that staying locked down for a prolonged period of time is the way to go,” the member of the White House coronavirus task force said.

Every state and local politician who imposed lockdowns pursuant to the COVID-19 pandemic claimed their decisions were based on “the science.” In reality, they ignored the advice of leading epidemiologists, relying instead on statistical models produced by “experts” with histories of wildly inaccurate projections. The most notorious of these oracles was, of course, Neil Ferguson of Imperial College London, who claimed that coronavirus could kill 2.2 million Americans. Based on such apocalyptic predictions, combined with overcautious warnings from Beltway bureaucrats like Dr. Anthony Fauci, all but a few governors implemented economically destructive stay-at-home orders — despite the reservations of respected epidemiologists who questioned the logic of lockdowns from the beginning.

There are so many angles to the FBI-Michael Flynn imbroglio, and most have been covered in great depth across a divergent set of viewpoints. But one aspect that has not been covered, and that opens up a wider lens into FBI policy, is the fact that the FBI refuses to audiotape, much less videotape, interviews of witnesses or suspects such as Flynn. That policy is counterproductive and makes no sense in 2020. The FBI needs to take itself out of the J. Edgar Hoover era and align itself with modern law enforcement best practices.
