Hollywood is seeing a wave of staff reductions from the corporate suites to the theme park turnstiles as entertainment giants including the Walt Disney Co. and Endeavor implement layoffs and furloughs in response to the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.
Just how bad is the carnage? In Los Angeles County alone, 14,000 entertainment-related workers saw their jobs evaporate in less than two months, according to a new report from tech news outlet dot.LA. Meanwhile, Tinseltown could see even more bloodshed in the second quarter, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Tinseltown is a hotbed for rabid know nothing libtards. They're finally reaping what they've sown. How's it feel Tinseltown to finally live by your own dreams for the country to become Venezuela?

These arrogant feces were laughing and buying Japanese cars back in the day when GM was laying off workers 10,000 at a time and thousands of supplier companies were dying.

I really do feel for the average Jill/Joe working to make someone's dream a virtual reality. The issue is the people a level or so up have squandered any good tidings from the rest of us by developing thin gruel and then having the nerve to rub our noses in it and tell us we just didn't know what we wanted. That doesn't take into account the political side of being brow beaten with everything from LGBT to Save the Whales issues and , again, how they know so much better and incorporate that into the work output that WE expect to entertain us, but they expect to indoctrinate and demand huge sums of money to do so. Well Charlie, those days are over. The tops crusts will be fine on their already wealth. but the guy that had to go along to get along needs to start finding a useful position. If I was truly cruel, I would tell them to learn to code.

Schadenfreude doesn't begin to express my delight in their distress.
Those pampered air-heads need to lose their mansions and go back to working day jobs as waiters and waitresses. . . .
Oh wait, they killed those jobs.

Not all in Hollywood are celebrities but even the behind-the-scene workers who I know from there are insufferable liberal jerks. This calamity should make a few of them re-evaluate their belief system.

If you want a laugh, check out the afternoon women's shows (don't ask; I catch them as I pass through the living room) which are now done with celebrity guests on their blurry-shaky cam and no live audience. Without all the woo-hoo's and screams it really shows how vapid and boring these shows are and always have been. Then again, we're long past the standard advertising and marketing revenue stream to keep these shows on the air. They'll be back supported by the elite for their propaganda value.

No longer able to play make-believe for a living, the denizens of Hollyweird are suddenly forced to enter the real world.

I feel bad for the poor chump working the popcorn stand in the theaters or the guy running the rides in the theme park. Above that level the rest of them (especially multimillionaire actors can go stick it. The product they have been producing is terrible. They can not come up with something original (only remakes). In addition, contrary to what they think, they are far more stupid than the average Joe on the street. So keep your moronic opinions to yourselves.

I feel for the low-level workers who were hypnotized by the fake glamour of hollywood and moved out there to work but the movie stars and the millionaire moguls responsible for all of the stupid, obscene movies that make these people think they are somehow better and smarter than the rest of us can all jump off one of their famous cliffs with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. They will not be missed. That goes for Harry and the fake princess as well.

Hollywood is no longer any kind of entertainment King as it was decades ago. Crappy sripts, vulgar language, overly sexual scenes and nothing but CGI graphics. Ta ke a look at the first Star Wars that was released in 1977. Fantastic fantasy film, not filmed with vulgar language, sex and CGI content. WB Cartoons of the 40's were masterpieces of art. Original music for each one and animation done the old fashioned. Class al the wayy.
