The media establishment has become an absolute clown show, with CBS News White House correspondent Weijia Jiang cast as the ringleader during Monday’s press briefing circus. Instead of asking President Donald Trump any relevant question as a means to better inform Americans amid the pandemic, Jiang opted for grandstanding with “Is Chinese food racist?”
“You’ve said many times that the U.S. is doing far better than any other country when it comes to testing. Why does that matter?” Jiang asked. “Why is this a global competition to you if every day, Americans are still losing their lives, and we’re still seeing more cases every day?”
I suggest the White House call CBS, and let them know that Ms Jiang is no longer welcome at the Press Briefings, and that they need to send an adult from now on...

I saw that conference. Just shameful. These reporters should be taken to the proverbial woodshed.

Enough with these "briefings." The "reporters" ask no questions of any relevance to anything. They just preen and try gotcha questions of PDJT. I am sick of hearing how many test we have performed, etc. Who cares. I test negative today and positive tomorrow and? Are we going to test every single American? People die everyday from some illness, accident whatever and we continue with our lives. Yes, I know it's the governors at fault but Trump's experts like Fauci gave us these silly guidelines. And enough with Fauci piping off on the NFL. Who died and left him in charge of everything?

I'm so confused. Wasn't it the media that kept comparing the US response to everybody else? Why can't we be more like Singapore, South Korea, Freedonia where I hear Rufus T Firefly is doing a great job with this. Then when Trump uses the global benchmarks to frame our relative success I becomes a competition. I'm so sick of these people.

Weijia Jiang apparently wanted to show that even Asia has "Kawens" (please to excuse humble observer's racist pronunciation of "Karens").

Just another low-integrity hack trying to make news ABOUT themselves by attempting to insert RACE into everything.

She removed her mask to expose her face and to expose everyone to her virulent germs. IMO, ANYONE who removes their mask should be escorted out by the Secret Service immediately and then charged with attempted murder. After all, the left says that if you don't wear a mask, you are trying to kill people.

The CCP has built a worldwide network of fellow travelers and paid agents in the media and government to promote their global ambitions. We are at war with them on multiple fronts and the sleeping giant of the American public is waking up to this fact. The Chinese people are their first and most oppressed victims.

I loved when the President told her to go ask China. That, I believe, is what set her off. He exposed the absolutely worthlessness of these gotcha gals.

China is the enemy. IMO, the motive of anyone named Weija Jiang are questionable. Perhaps she needs to live in China.

That question should get a "Next question?" response, and her press pass pulled.

I think Donald Trump should ask that reporter her name, then announce that reporter and her network should have to write lines before she and her network are allowed to attend another conference. There are all sorts of possibilities such as the first ten pages of Webster’s unabridged dictionary or perhaps a 10 page essay on what she thinks are inappropriate questions and why.

Loved it when President Trump bid them goodbye, turned his back and walked away. Hope they will expire from frustration. They should not even be in our country. We should all insist on respect for our legally elected president.

Is that it? Is that all they have? Endless preening and virtue signaling from the social justice warrior crowd. I think that journalism schools need to provide more time for student naps and crayon activites.

The reporters made fools of themselves on national tv. That is the news. Trump has to confront them, he has, and the nation has seen what fools the press really are. The press cannot defeat or browbeat Trump, who has won every single exchange. Let the press fire their empty shells, as they are destroying themselves.

Most of the reporters were polite and asked questions seeking information. This CBS News "reporter" was called on late in the conference and asked a gotcha question. And then she played the race card by removing her mask as if to say--I'm Chinese! He then called on another reporterette who hesitated when when the CBS reporter kept talking. Trump then called on a third reporter and the second reporter got irate because he didn't wait for her question. At that point he walked out. He did the right thing.

Put a number on each reporter's chair. The reporters should be identified by the number on their chair. No speaking out of turn!
