Reporter Asks Trump Asinine Question: Is
Chinese Food Racist? It Goes Downhill From
There

The media establishment has become an absolute clown show, with CBS News White House correspondent Weijia Jiang cast as the ringleader during Monday’s press briefing circus. Instead of asking President Donald Trump any relevant question as a means to better inform Americans amid the pandemic, Jiang opted for grandstanding with “Is Chinese food racist?” “You’ve said many times that the U.S. is doing far better than any other country when it comes to testing. Why does that matter?” Jiang asked. “Why is this a global competition to you if every day, Americans are still losing their lives, and we’re still seeing more cases every day?”

I suggest the White House call CBS, and let them know that Ms Jiang is no longer welcome at the Press Briefings, and that they need to send an adult from now on...

Enough with these "briefings." The "reporters" ask no questions of any relevance to anything. They just preen and try gotcha questions of PDJT. I am sick of hearing how many test we have performed, etc. Who cares. I test negative today and positive tomorrow and? Are we going to test every single American? People die everyday from some illness, accident whatever and we continue with our lives. Yes, I know it's the governors at fault but Trump's experts like Fauci gave us these silly guidelines. And enough with Fauci piping off on the NFL. Who died and left him in charge of everything?

I'm so confused. Wasn't it the media that kept comparing the US response to everybody else? Why can't we be more like Singapore, South Korea, Freedonia where I hear Rufus T Firefly is doing a great job with this. Then when Trump uses the global benchmarks to frame our relative success I becomes a competition. I'm so sick of these people.

IMO, ANYONE who removes their mask should be escorted out by the Secret Service immediately and then charged with attempted murder. After all, the left says that if you don't wear a mask, you are trying to kill people.

I think Donald Trump should ask that reporter her name, then announce that reporter and her network should have to write lines before she and her network are allowed to attend another conference. There are all sorts of possibilities such as the first ten pages of Webster’s unabridged dictionary or perhaps a 10 page essay on what she thinks are inappropriate questions and why.

The reporters made fools of themselves on national tv. That is the news. Trump has to confront them, he has, and the nation has seen what fools the press really are. The press cannot defeat or browbeat Trump, who has won every single exchange. Let the press fire their empty shells, as they are destroying themselves.

Most of the reporters were polite and asked questions seeking information. This CBS News "reporter" was called on late in the conference and asked a gotcha question. And then she played the race card by removing her mask as if to say--I'm Chinese! He then called on another reporterette who hesitated when when the CBS reporter kept talking. Trump then called on a third reporter and the second reporter got irate because he didn't wait for her question. At that point he walked out. He did the right thing.

Word broke nationally Tuesday that former Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan had suppressed evidence that Vladimir Putin was more interested in a Hillary Clinton win in 2016 than a Donald Trump win. My colleague Nick Arama covered the rumblings of that story in late April. Brennan, in fact, seems to the be the big fish under U.S. Attorney John Durham’s microscope, but not just because of the latest news about suppressing Putin’s preferences. Sidney Powell, the formidable attorney responsible for helping Ret. Lt. Gen. I mean “must see” from the standpoint of pointing and laughing, not that you should actually waste your time watching CNN. The network is hosting an “expert” panel on the coronavirus pandemic in a town hall format on Thursday. Who’s on the panel? Well, you’ll be less than shocked to learn two of the three people appearing are failed, former Obama officials who presided over disastrous aspects of Obamacare. You may be more surprised, though, that CNN lacks enough shame for the third participant to be none other than Greta Thunberg, the teen climate activist from Sweden. Yes, this is real life.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the Republican Senate caucus took House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s $3 trillion extravaganza of waste and delusion and declared the package “dead on arrival.” In truth, it was dead before it was born. Donald Trump doesn’t want another massive bailout bill and Mitch McConnell isn’t keen on the idea either. So, with an eye on November — and as a sop to their rabid, radical constituencies — House Democrats loaded up a “stimulus” bill with every left-wing fantasy, desire, wet dream, and “transformation” of the U.S. they could muster and threw it against a wall to see what would stick. Florida has long been an attractive destination for the elderly. Retirees and “snowbirds” who flock to the state comprise an important component of Florida’s economy, but a perhaps morbid corollary is that Florida is well-experienced in dealing with the deaths of its residents. It is therefore imperative that Florida have robust administrative processes for dealing with the ultimate event in the human life cycle. The state needs to efficiently cancel driver’s licenses and social welfare entitlements when residents pass away. Similarly, there needs to be an efficient mechanism to remove the deceased from the state’s voter registration rolls. Perhaps Ponce de Leon was right.
