California Gov. Gavin Newsom said Monday that he and his counterparts in Oregon, Washington, Colorado and Nevada were calling for the federal government to provide an extra $1 trillion in aid to their coronavirus-ravaged states. “These budget shortfalls are so much bigger than any state,” the governor said at his daily coronavirus briefing, Deadline reported, referring to the Western pact, an alliance to increase the states’ buying power for medical supplies. Much of the aid will go to help public safety officials like policemen, firefighters and EMT’s, as well as to schools.
Newsom said this aid was needed because real unemployment

Newsome has enough money to pay for college tuition for illegals and pay for their health care insurance and treatments and give a $500 check to illegals because they didn’t qualify for the $1200 stimulus. And that’s just the beginning of why Mexiforniaco is in the red. The we have the high speed rail project. Paying for hotel rooms for homeless and providing free marijuana alcohol and drugs to them as well. Lots of money for this kind of thing. Need i go on? Never cut back spending. Only increase spending and raise taxes fees and charges and as a last resort cry like babies to the federal government.

There would have to be a lot of conditions. First of all, no more sanctuary state, no mail-in voting, no taxpayer money going to illegals and clean up the tent cities. Second, $1 trillion.....no! Way too much.

Colorado does little to help first responders and rips off a taxpayer funded grant program for it's own purposes. Now the state wants other taxpayers to pick up the tab to "help" these responders. Every time there is a proposal to raise taxes for any reason money for "schools" (read RedforEd teachers) is tacked on. This is just another way to shift the cost of democrat vote buying to someone else. Not only no, but hell no!

My husband has cancer. He is to have lab work next week. He texted his primary care doctor and ask if he should also be tested for Coronavirus. His message was forwarded to a person in the know so their reply to him was that was not necessary as he was not determined to be in the endangered group W.T.F?How is Governor Inslee deciding who gets to call the health related shots? Is he leaving it up to the University of Washington? Has anyone looked into how they have already spent the money they got from the federal government? Are they trying to up the death count by not protecting the vulnerable?

Oregon, because of the thriving economy, was projected to have a sizable increase in revenue. However, that was not enough for our Democrats so they added on another $1,000,000,000 in taxes, in the form of a gross receipts tax on businesses. Yep, businesses that were losing money would still have to pay the tax. Oregon's problem is too much spending. Before the shutdown 1/4 of the population was getting some sort of welfare. I can only imagine how many are getting some sort of welfare now. Oregon's budget short fall is self inflicted. I will be moving out of state in the future as it reaches third world status.

Funny, isn't Nancy's latest proposal only $750 billion?
Yet, these states alone say they need $1 trillion.
Much like when your local school district uses the canard of cutting the librarian, the nurse, and other items, UNLESS you agree to raise taxes again, only to be told shortly thereafter they still don't have enough - the new plan is to use police, firefighters and EMT's, I guess.
Yet, most of those are paid by local/regional taxes.

I knew there had to be a reason that Newsom was feigning good will toward Donald Trump. Just like a brat who thinks he can start being good two weeks before Christmas and he will get his wish. NO

No. Considering that the last batch of money that Oregon got went straight into the coffers of Portland, I really would prefer that Oregon and the rest of these irresponsible jackboot governors get nothing. Let them live with their actions for a change.

Not only no, but hell no. These states gleefully spent money they didn't have just for votes and union bribery for campaign contributions. They should deal with their own messes instead of passing it on to the other states.
