The Department of Justice is reportedly dropping its prosecution of former National Security Adviser General Michael Flynn (Ret.), according to the Associated Press.
(Snip)
The news comes a week after new evidence released to Flynn’s lawyers showed FBI agents apparently attempting to trap Flynn into lying to them, hoping he would be prosecuted or fired. The evidence also suggested they knew he had not committed a separate crime.
Earlier Thursday, prosecutor Brandon Van Grack withdrew from the case.
Flynn had been director of the Defense Intelligence Agency under President Barack Obama but was fired. He then joined Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, shaping its foreign policy and introducing Trump at rallies.

Congrats to Gen Flynn and Ms Powell. I guess the DOJ realized that their best hand was to fold.
Too bad there's nowhere for Gen Flynn to go get his reputation back, but I hope President Trump invites him to the WH and a public welcom!
Now on to the civil suit of Flynn vs Comey et al. and their criminal prosecution.

The FBI charged a process crime, while totally undermining the process.
And, while we are at it, the Judge should apologize too.

Good. Now I hope he sues, and wins, recompense for all his legal expenses, loss of income, emotional distress, wrongful prosecution, etc. I realize the taxpayers will probably be on the hook to foot the bill, but I really hope those responsible for this cruel hoax get their just rewards. And not just firing, loss of pension, whatever. Jail time.
Papadoulas and Roger Stone up next. You listening, Mr. Barr?

The rotten judge in this case, Sullivan, said in open court that Flynn committed treason.
the judge has to approve the dropping of charges.
what will the rotten judge do?

I am far from a bible scholar, but I believe that Job lost everything, and then reclaimed it and more. I hope the general finds happiness and is able to let go of the anger that I would be feeling.

I believe it was last week, General Flynn posted a video on his Twitter account--apparently the first tweet in a long time--of an American flag flying in the wind. What many people did not pick up on (but I noticed) was that first, the flag was flying one way, and then the winds shifted, and the flag flew a different direction.
I took that as Flynn saying that the winds were changing, not just for him, but for America, too. Here's one proof of that. I pray for more!

Sidney Powell is so smart, so strong, and SO much for what is right and good. I saw a long interview and discussion with Mark Levine on his show and was super impressed. What a wonderful lady!
Congratulations for Gen. Flynn, and I hope that he SOON becomes a WH advisor.
And yet, when will the PERSECUTORS be punished by loss of law licenses and such? When will the creators and perpetrators of this MONSTROUS injustice be put in prison? Comey, Strzok, Brennan, Rosenstein, about three dozen that I am aware of - whole long list of FBI, DoJ and CIA thugs need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
And some need to be charged with treason, this was not just some minor error. It was a giant plot to prevent a person from being elected President, and then to cripple him, a coup plot. That is treason.

The VP slots for Hildabeast or Moochelle just went up in smoke. It is clear now what a corrupt enterprise the Obama administration was. Stay tuned for coming attractions

This is great for General Flynn. Hopefully he can sue the government for damages and that will expose even more of BO's minions and get him a nice payday. I'd love to see the sanctimonious Comey hauled into court. BO as well. The "no scandal" administration meme may be over and the most scandalous administration EVER might be started. Hope BO will enjoy his new legacy.

Not so fast #1...by the time Ms. Powell is done with all the criminal perps in this case they will be:
1. Bankrupt
2. Up for indictment on a host of crimes
3. Crying like the babies they are
4. Turning on each other to save their hides
5. Put bad news for the perps here...the list is long
and most of all
6. Flynn will be super rich and laughing all the way to the BANK!

Everyone of the prosecutions from Mueller should be dropped and the people released, including Manafort, Stone, and their records expunged. They will all be released just like Scooter Libby, and many years after the damage done to them.

Someone on Rush suggested Flynn should become the new FBI director. Did Flynn have a bad first attorney? His new one is sharp and tough.

#20 asks: Did Flynn have a bad first attorney? Yeah, you could say that (as the understatement of the year)! Eric Holder works there. Does that tell you anything about Covington?

And now - -
- - and now the DOJ will have plenty of time and manpower - - to prosecute Little 0bie and his slimy henchmen.
Let the indictments begin!

So, now we see DOJ dropping cases against Flynn and the Russians do to totally groundless charges. What makes anyone believe the cases against Manafort, Papadopolous and Stone are any different? Unfounded! These cases need to be re-assessed by the DOJ and see what evidence comes from tainted sources and how the targets were set up.
Congratulations General Flynn and Sidney Powell.

Since the FBI had no legitimate predication or basis in law to commence investigating Flynn, or to essentially sneak into the White House without following established procedures just as the Trump Administration was entering office, to in bad faith interview Flynn in order to remove him from office for political purposes, everything after that became fruit of that poisonous tree.

This is THE turning point. Up until this point, the deep state plotters, the whole Democrat crime family, and their enemedia co-conspirators have continued to smirk and act like THEY were really the ones still in charge and that they could still come after you and somehow get you no matter what. I guarantee that there are sphincters tightening all across the fruited Fruit of the Looms as we speak. Offshore bank accounts are being checked. Graceful exit plans being made. And email servers being bit-bleached. This changes everything.
I just saw the interview of President Trump. Cold anger. Resolve. No clever Twitterisms. He was firing off "treason", "human scum", and the reference wasn't to mid-level apparatchiks but included the word "Obama" in every target group.
Game on. And I believe it will no longer be defense.

The top of the FBI needs to be overhauled. The entire organization needs to be reviewed to see if highly questionable tactics are being routinely rewarded - think Mueller and Whitey Bulger. The reputation of the organization has been destroyed and the field agents know it and are clear that it is damaging their ability to perform their law enforcement duties. That requires a new FBI director who can be trusted to be determined to eradicate corrupt behavior anywhere within the organization. Perhaps General Flynn as director with an assist from a team of consultants headed by Ms Powell (at $2000 per hour or whatever Mueller's people were getting) is the solution. And the DOJ pursuing criminal penalties for all the coup participants.

#4, we don’t need apologies. We need some very big heads to roll. 0bama should be the first one indicted but that’s a pipe dream. So go after the rest of them - Biden, Comey, Strzok, Page and everyone else involved. Nothing less than long prison terms will do.
