When I was an 8-year-old boy, I idolized and was inspired by the FBI. I wrote a letter to the director of the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover. I described my aspiration to be an FBI agent, to fight crime with him, to help him bring justice to the United States of America. A short time later, I received a short reply, signed (I have no doubt) by Director Hoover himself, in which he encouraged me to follow my ideals, to diligently study and to prepare myself, inspired for a life as an honorable American.

We expect treachery from our enemies. It is part of the game and not usually a big surprise.
Treachery from our friends is another matter. Such betrayal cuts to the bone and should not ever be forgotten.

This agency can no longer be trusted. They have proven that they are dirty and they along with dirty prosecutors would twist evidence around to convict an innocent person. I heard on the radio yesterday that Wray needs to be fired and Trump should replace Wray with General Flynn. Flynn would clean house immediately. I thought that he would be the perfect person to bring the FBI back as a trustworthy organization.

They have been at it for awhile. What was done to Lavoy Finicum, the Bundy's and others involved was a horrible miscarriage of justice. There are many more examples, bottom line is they trick people into "committing crimes" to suit their larger agenda.

Odd, short article from Wesley Clark. On one hand, it’s good to see someone condemn the corruption of the FBI for what it is and has done. On the other, it’s too bad that Clark could even name LTG Flynn in the article as the target of the FBI’s criminality.
There are a lot of ‘I’s peppered in the text. Clark is still stuck on himself.

I'm still waiting for all those agents so bothered by the misuse of the FBI by its leaders to come forward. So far, all I've heard is crickets.

Bottom line: Never ever speak to an FBI agent or anyone from the DOJ. Beyond name, rank, serial number and date of birth - give them nothing.

It's not uncommon for regular coppers to call them 'feebs' for good reason...they like to come in and stomp all over your investigations and pull rank...

I like Hannity, but he does one thing that drives me nuts. Every time he speaks of FBI corruption, he always qualifies it with the statement "I'm not talking about the 99% of decent, honorable people in the rank and file".
But General Clark finally got something right. When the leadership is corrupt and violates their oath and castes aside longstanding commitments to justice and objective standards it taints the entire organization. The rank and file have done nothing to right their ship. If I spoke with someone who declared they work for the FBI it would now trigger internal warnings of suspicion and distrust, even though I've not committed any crimes that I'm aware of!

The FBI has been dirty since its earliest days. Name the President and one finds political activity under the guise of law enforcement/national security. I'm sure Marilyn Monroe was a huge threat, as was Elvis, even John Lennon. Then there's Martin Luther King, Jr. It's not hard to catalogue their most egregious cases. But, they got Dillinger, and that makes it all right. They are the American Stasi and have been for decades. The Flynn case is nothing out of the ordinary.

The problem was, and apparently still is, with the politicized super FBI bureaucrats on 7th Floor at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Notice that the street level FBI Agents assigned to the Washington FBI field office intended to close the counterintelligence investigation that they were conducting into Michael Flynn after they found no evidence that Flynn had unlawfully acted as an agent for Russia. After that, those street level agents were overruled by the super bureaucrats at FBI Headquarters, who then took over the case, and railroaded Flynn.
Unfortunately what is bound to happen on into the future, as street level FBI Agents around the country, who are assigned to conduct important legitimate investigations contact and attempt to interview smart people, those people are going to refuse to talk with those FBI agents, or will only talk to them with their lawyer present.
If Attorney General Barr and US Attorney John Durham do not indict and convict those FBI Headquarters 7th Floor corrupt perpetrators for their criminal conspiracy to obstruct legitimate government operations, it is just common sense that such 7th Floor corruption will be a lot worse the next time around.

There was a general in the US Army named Wesley Clark, and he had a son by the same name. The source doesn't identify this person.
Given the age (Hoover was FBI leader last in 1972, which puts his birth year no later than 1964, seemingly too young for the son of a general born in 1944. This may be Gen. Wesley Clark, or just some guy with that name.
Whoever he is, he's right. The FBI is not worthy of respect today. At one time, they fought organized crime across state lines, when local police forces couldn't cope. There was a real need when county sheriffs and city police often couldn't cope with "motor bandits" of the 30s, and then the huge multi-state organized crime families of the 50s, 60s and 70s.
My recently retired FBI friend fought the KC organized crime families much of his career, linked to east coast and Las Vega mobs, but had been switched almost entirely to domestic terrorism work in the last 10 years, which he found dramatically less useful, and he told me so many times.

The FBI was conceived in corruption and has used fascist tactics throughout its history.
Never ever talk to the FBI.
