President Donald Trump told reporters late on Thursday afternoon that he will “certainly consider” bringing back former national security adviser Michael Flynn into his administration after bombshell FBI documents were unsealed this week that showed that the FBI discussed whether to use its interview with Flynn to “get him fired” and to “get him to lie.” “General Flynn was under an enormous pressure and it was an artificial pressure because what they did to Genera Flynn was a disgrace, it was a total disgrace, it’s shocking,” Trump said. “What they tried to do to destroy him and to hurt this presidency was — there has never been anything like it.

Put General Flynn in charge of the FBI. I could be like Mordecai and Haman from the book of Ester.

Flynn’s long legal fight hasn’t been resolved, so his employment can wait for now. Have feeling that Judge Sullivan will not allow Flynn to withdraw his guilty plea in order to stand trial for that would mean Flynn’s lawyer could call Obama, Biden, Comey, McCabe.and Mueller to testify under oath about their illegal actions. More likely, Judge Sullivan will dismiss the case to protect the Obama regime, leaving Flynn forever tarnished with “who pled guilty to lying to the FBI” whenever he’s mentioned by a Democrat and MSNBC. So, wait on Flynn.
More important is prosecuting the DoJ and FBI officials as well as Obama for entrapping Flynn as well as dismissing and hopefully prosecuting Director Wray and FBI General Counsel Boente for withholding the exculpatory documents for 3 years. Far too many crimes were committed by and for Obama to go unpunished, and it is time for indictments and not more handwringing.

I like the idea of putting him in charge of the FBI. It may restore some of the integrity they threw away.
Also, he should be reimbursed for all the personal expenses he incurred trying to defend against this lynch mob. As I recall it was over 5 mil.

The next move is with a Clinton nominated federal judge who has been presiding over the Flynn case from the get-go. As said above, chances are whatever move he makes will have a big aspect that designed to protect the Obama-Biden crew. Whatever the judge decides to do, the big guy in the White House will hold the trump card in the end. Bottom line, since President Trump arrived in DC a gaggle of those Obama Clinton federal judges have consistently made politicized court rulings that have brought the reputation of the federal courts into question.

Re-hire Flynn? Are you freaking kidding me? The deep state is still knee deep in the corruption and evil criminal hooplah and not even slowing down whatsoever. So far, the deep state has ONLY been rewarded for their crimes and the innocent lives of Stone, Flynn, Carter Page and Papadopoulos are still destroyed BY the same deep state. I hope Flynn is not that stupid to go back to a place where his life can easily be re-destroyed by newer and stronger felons. What if the judge rules in favor of Flynn? He's still a pauper. He still has no pot to you-know-what in thanks to the Beltway felons. I hope he sues for damages with civil suits, tort claims, wins and makes at least 30 million in damages, builds a house in Alaska and has a totem built in his yard that is a giant hand, flipping off Washington and facing east-southeast. Damn, hasn't he suffered enough for cryin' out loud? And the guilty? They'll be showmen, front and center in the next Marxist administration. And, please show me ONE TIME in the past twenty years where a deep state destroyed person has been made whole again by the 535 elected morons or by the deep state itself. I'm just glad my classmate and fellow oarsman, Bob Harwood turned down the gig before Flynn was offered. Re-hire Flynn. Please. Fix the damn place for Pete's sake. And burn your red white and blue pom poms. They're useless without action on the part of elected Republican "conservatives."

Good. Do it, Mr. President. Maybe start by installing Gen. Flynn at WH Chief of Staff and give him some time to do any necessary "house cleaning". Then nominate him as FBI Director and get him confirmed by summer before AG Barr and Durham blow the lid off of Spygate. Then the badly needed fbi housecleaning can begin.

Yes, if he'd accept. It would be nice if President Trump had someone like him in his administration. The thing is, there are so many two-faced people in D.C., and Trump isn't two-faced and neither is General Flynn. I don't know how you get good people to work in government. They almost have to accept that they'll end up being martyred for the cause of loving their country. We need divine intervention to save our country, I think.

If Flynn ends up a billionaire as a result of this high-level criminal conspiracy, it won't be enough. I hope all of those who participated in this scheme go to prison. Hefty fines are in order as well. Now we know it was - in large part - the reason they went after him, as Flynn (in his new post) was in line to learn of and uncover all their misdeeds and criminal activity. The Obama administration was corrupt from the top on down - on many different levels - a chilling and unprecedented set of circumstances for America. Still difficult to comprehend or accept.

General Flynn must be compensated, fully, for his financial losses and offered the opportunity to rejoin the Trump administration. President Trump needs a man like Flynn.
Also, all the guilty parties that precipitated, facilitated, and continued these expensive proceedings should be sued and made to repay the taxpayer. That goes for the Mueller witch hunt too. Why should the taxpayers be made to pay for their crimes?

I have a suspicion that once this problem is all cleared up, Ms. Powell and Gen. Flynn have a very good civil case for damages against the US Govt. and individually against a whole bunch of people ... I suspect after all is cleared up in the case of Flynn vs Comey, et al, Gen Flynn will be well compensated and Ms Powell will be the wealthiest lawyer in the USA on the continengcy fees alone.

After Flynn answers one question: Did you lie to the FBI, or when you pled guilty?
Trump's biggest problem throughout his administration has been personnel. He doesn't need to compound it with one more mistake. Flynn made his own bed, overtaken by his own hubris. Even Comey saw that coming.

One of the reasons the Deep State IC was after Flynn, is because he dissed Obama by not agreeing with him I believe on the Iran thing, AND, Flynn realized that the IC needed to be revamped because it wasn't working as efficiently as it should have been. At least all this according to Lee Smith in The Plot Against the President. So, if he went back Trump should put him in charge of revamping the IC. Sweet, sweet revenge.
But you know what boys and girls? Only President Trump would dare to bring him back into his government. Like he stood with Brett Kavanaugh when no other president would have, he is standing with Flynn. God let him win again in November.

Do it Mr. President. If only to stick a finger in the eye of the Swamp, along with the chance to right a wrong. I don't believe this gets said enough, but Kudos to Sydney Powell for being such a bulldog of an attorney. Her bare knuckles are set on hard stun and she is going to get them. Love a comment from one of my fellow Ldotters, she uses the 'you can't hit me, I'm a girl' ploy against these cretins of the swamp. Great description of a true fighter.

Every time a President is elected, the political appointees are supposed to submit a letter of resignation to the newly elected President. When elected in November, President Trump should accept every one of these resignations of Obama/Clinton appointees. If they fail to submit letters of resignation, they should be fired.
It is a shame he did not do this when first elected.

After he's exonerated, I want to see General Flynn endlessly on TV, even if he can't get past the Fox opinion shows (Wallace will never interview him). Also want to see him as an integral part of the campaign. As for the administration, I hope the president stays silent on the subject until Flynn's exonerated.

Everything has moved on since then. The game is now China, and he has no expertise there. We don't need to be dragged back into "new and improved" Middle East Wars 2.0.

This was Trump's way of telling everyone there ain't no way Flynn is ever going to prison. I hope the judge does the right thing and throws the case out with prejudice, but knowing the judiciary is as corrupt as the rest of govt, I doubt it.

#9, "misfits"??!!, hah, they are carefully selected and groomed operatives, placed in key positions to permit them to use their government powers to prevent any usurpers like Trump from being elected. Outisders with ethics and patriotism could interfere with the corruption and treason which is the real business being done by about 75% or more of Congressmen and Senators. They had to build up protection against their being caught, or just replaced.

Flynn should collect whatever money he has coming to him and just leave Washington DC for good. At least that is what i would do. It's an honor to be considered for a white house job, but I would suspect Flynn and family have had enough drama, betrayal and intrique for the rest of their lives.

Michael Flynn is a career intelligence officer. Right now the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) is being run by one of Trump’s trusted supporters on an acting basis, who could easily move on to another high level position in the Trump Administration. The big reason that Obama, his crew, and the intelligence bureaucracy did not want Flynn to be President Trump’s National Security Advisor is that Flynn was well versed in how the intelligence bureaucracy operates and has plans to reorganize the entire federal intelligence bureaucracy. Neither Obama, his crew, or the intelligence bureaucracy wanted their “Ivory Towers” to be torn asunder by Flynn. So while you never know, but I would not be surprised if Flynn is exonerated, that Trump then nominates (in the spirit that what goes around comes around) Flynn to be the next DNI with a Presidential “Green Light” to carry on reorganizing the federal intelligence bureaucracy.
