On Saturday two California doctors of Immunology went on with KERO News 23 in California and made a video disputing the official state coronavirus policy in California.Doctors Dan Erickson and Artin Massihi said their facilities have tested over 5,200 patients for the coronavirus throughout the county, making up for over half of all testing in Kern County. According to their data, the death rate of the coronavirus is similar in prevalence to the flu. And they believe only the sick and elderly should be quarantined and that businesses should open. They also revealed that the state of California is pressuring doctors to pad the COVID-19 numbers.

Dan Erickson, DO, and Artin Massihi, MD, who are ER doctors, own and run an urgent care company in Bakersfield, CA. Bakersfield, population 383,000, located in Kern County (pop. 900,000 appx) in the largely agricultural San Joaquin/Central Valley. Although Hoft characterizes them as “immunologists”. I can find no mention of that anywhere else. They have been called “ER doctors” or simply “physicians" Meanwhile, their colleagues in the same area disagree with these two: BAKERSFIELD, Calif (KGET) — Two local doctors spoke out Thursday, rejecting Dr. Dan Erickson’s call to re-open society, and to end to the shelter-in-place order for people not showing symptoms. “This virus is not a virus to be taken very lightly,” said Dr. Navin Amin, an infectious diseases specialist who has resided in Bakersfield for more than 40 years. On Facebook Live Thursday, he shared his expertise on COVID-19. “It is a killer virus,” he said. “It spreads very rapidly, and it doesn’t spare anybody,” Amin continued. Interviewed by his daughter Dr. Nimisha Amin, herself a medical doctor, the senior Amin was emphatic. More here from other doctors in the same area: https://www.kget.com/health/coronavirus/local-physicians-reject-doctors-call-to-re-open-society/ Erickson and Massihi are not sufficiently qualified to make such a sweeping statement. I see them as publicity hounds, like many who have used the COVID-19 crisis to bring attention to themselves.

According to anecdotal information from people I know elsewhere, that forcing by the state in Cali is indeed going on. There is no doubt about it. There is money involved for the state, so more virus deaths the better for their vault. Diamond and Silk also started questioning the numbers and how they are compiled as well on Fox. After asking embarrassing questions on their last appearance, they have been let go from Fox. The censorship of truth continues.

Yep #5 but those pearl clutchers gotta clutch them pearls. Hand wringers gotta keep the panic alive. Some things NEVER change. To hell with the economy, to hell with closing hospitals and furloughed nurses and doctors, to hell with small businesses dying in record numbers. The data we are getting shows lots of infection, single digits even showing symptoms, and tiny percentages of death almost exclusively among the elderly, those with preexisting conditions, and especially those in long term care facilities but facts be damned. The narrative must be maintained to keep the sheep in line.

So #3, did you watch the entire video or, more importantly, did you listen to what was said...? These two doctors were simply relaying what they had observed and what they had heard from others in the medical community with whom they had spoken. I heard nothing that sounded like it was eligible for the tinfoil hat brigade. In fact, it was very much aligned with common sense, and what most of us were taught in health classes and biology before schooling became a propaganda exercise. You then cite the expertise of another physician who comes out of the gate with the scary nonsense that this virus "...is a killer virus...and it doesn't spare anybody." I'm sure that my neighbor who just recovered from COVID or the multitude who show antibodies but never got sick would take issue with that statement. Thanks for playing - better luck next time. greyseal

The gov't is paying the medical profession for C19 treatment. Ergo, any non-insured service will be reported as C19 related and the C19 numbers soar. If it is gov't subsidized we will see more of it accompanied by an increased cost to taxpayers Like student loans?

These doctors cited their test results which echo the results from studies done by the Stanford University and USC and results from widespread testing in New York. So their views are worth consideration. Studies that suggest the infected mortality rate is 1 to 2 orders of magnitude lower than reported and in line with a severe flu. However the lack of acquired immunity and ease of spread make it a more threatening killer. Flattening the curve was a good idea to stop the exponential increase, infinite house arrest is not. People will still die, but with development of treatments and manufacture and deployment of needed supplies and without the exponential growth the resources are available to give victims a fighting chance.

I have trouble believing that there is no immunity acquired if you get this disease. This may be true, but I think that there is something going on here, in the microbiology, not in the insane politics, that we don't get yet. Seems like the antibody tests may be not specific enough, and perhaps giving false postives on antibodies from some other corona viruses. May account for "no acquired immunity".....you actually didn't have COVID-19, you had a similar virus with similar antibodies....will get a milder case of COVID than some, but still get it. Inadequate specificity in the antibody tests will drive all sorts of weird 'conclusions' --- caused by bad testing data.

The info those doctors spoke about last night are issues that have been raised more than a month ago. It's not just California doctors, but this stuff is going on everywhere. Everyday the number of dead due to the virus is pronounced. Some doctors say as many as 15,000 should be removed from the coronavirus death number because of pressure from government officials.

President Trump was interviewed on the coronavirus crisis by Reuters on Wednesday. But he also offered an interesting quick take on the Navy's official release this week of three videos showing U.S. Naval Aviators intercepting UFOs in 2004 and 2015.“I just wonder if it’s real, that’s a hell of a video," Trump said. That might seem like a lighthearted comment designed to shut down further conversation. And it is. But Trump's particular choice of words should pique our curiosity for other reasons.First, he is reinforcing the fact that the U.S. military and intelligence communities cannot explain what these objects are.

It is an increasingly common statement, in comments sections, in social media posts and from callers on talk radio programs, “I think I had COVID-19 back in [name your month].” This is an important phenomenon for public policy. If they believed the experts, if they trusted what their governments had told them, then would people make that statement? Governments around the world saw COVID-19 start in early March and shuttered their economies, claiming it necessary to stop its spread. To ponder if one had COVID-19 before March is to doubt that narrative, and that pondering is amplified by those who tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies.
