What is wrong with Nancy Pelosi? House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) suffered a bad brain freeze on Sunday during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union.” The look on Jake Tapper’s face says it all. 80-year-old Nancy Antoinette stuttered and forgot her own Governor’s name on Sunday.“My own Governor, um – uh-uh-um Gavin Newsom’s been so spectacular,” Pelosi said. It's what happens when you are 79 years old and dementia is setting in. She needs to be home with her family instead of spreading her TDS and hurting America with it. We really do need some age and term limits on our politicians.

That is so crazy! The two leaders of the Democrat Party have late stage dementia. How in the world do they think they will be able to run the country! If Biden wins, we are in big trouble. He will be a figurehead and someone else will be ruining (running) the country behind the scenes. That will be someone who has not been elected. I am really scared that they will be able to steal the election. That is what they are working on right now. Socialism here we come. This lockdown is just the beginning of the end for our Republic.

Pelosi also claimed that Trump’s China and European travel bans were ineffective because, although they stopped foreigners from entering the USA, they did not stop returning US citizens from entering the USA. Pelosi opined that for the travel bans to be effective Trump should have kept returning US citizens out of the USA. But in reality what Trump did was lawful in that Trump used the immigration laws to stop foreigners from entering the USA, but that since US citizens are exempt from the immigration laws Trump had no authority to keep thousands of returning US citizens out of the USA as they traveled from foreign countries who had asked all foreigners to leave. If Trump had tried to stop US citizens from coming back to the USA, Pelosi and the Democrats back then, would have been the first out of the gate to oppose that Trump action. In fact Pelosi and the Democrats opposed both Trump travel bans claiming they were racist and xenophobic. While both foreigners and US citizens could have been infected with COVID-19 upon their arrival in the USA, the largest percentage of travelers at the time from China to the USA were foreigners who no doubt would have brought a lot more COVID-19 into the USA. So in accordance with his authorities at the time, and up to now, the President did what he was authorized to do under the law. Remember Pelosi and the Democrats have been against Trump even keeping illegal aliens out of the USA.

Now that the Democratic ticket has been set and the (virtual) convention is about to launch, it's a good time to evaluate how tilted The Washington Post "Fact Checker" is when it comes to not just Trump and Biden, but to all Republicans and all Democrats. To get a sense of the overall tone, I counted up how many "Pinocchios" were awarded to politicians of both parties. Willie Brown is 30 years older than Harris and was very married at the time. It was public. It was an embarrassment. With Joe Biden’s photo metaphorically the definition of the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, voters will decide in November whether they want Harris to be their president some time in the next four years.
