Bill Gates slammed President Donald Trump’s decision to withhold $500million in funding to the World Health Organization, saying it's 'as dangerous as it sounds'. The tech magnate, worth $104billion, tweeted Wednesday saying the US' involvement with the WHO is more necessary than ever. 'Halting funding for the World Health Organization during a world health crisis is as dangerous as it sounds,' he tweeted Wednesday. 'Their work is slowing the spread of COVID-19 and if that work is stopped no other organization can replace them. The world needs @WHO now more than ever,' he added. On Tuesday night Trump announced he would halt funding

If little Willy is so concerned, he has the ability to make it up to them out of his own pocket. Or he could run for President with all of the charisma he has.

Gates proves that even if you are a billionaire, you may not have common sense. Why should US taxpayers fund an organization that actively lied to the world about the Chinese Flu?

You know it frosts me when people like Gates who wants the American tax payer to throw money at the organizations he favors which primarily exist to enrich themselves all under the guise of philanthropy. When you find corruption is endemic in these organizations American should pull funding. To allow monies to continue to flow to these organization would be highly irresponsible, if not criminal. So, let Gates fund whatever virtue signaling cause that suits him. Our President was right in pulling their funding. Their incompetence caused thousands of deaths. You do not reward that kind of behavior or you will just get more of the same. Thank goodness President Trump is stopping that foolishness.

Why don't YOU fund it, Bill? You never really earned all of those billions of dollars on the Windows products anyway, you have one of the few legal monopolies in the world based on other people's real talent and knowledge and you have the audacity to drop all support on something still in use just because you want to sell the new model and the new model is frequently worse than its predecessor. You OWE us. I'm getting really tired of this mouthy mouse dropping and his equally egotistical wife.

In the midst of a pandemic killing thousands, the leftist global cabal stays on course. They view it as imperative to continue aligning themselves with lying, totalitarian regimes and their WHO accomplices. The CCP owns this calamity. The WHO has the blood of thousands on its hands as well due to their deceit and corruption. Good move Mr. President. Tell the critics to pound sand and pony up their own dough if they feel so inclined. I want none of my taxpayer dollars going toward the UN or the WHO. Gates needs to shut up telling the rest of us what to do.

Interesting thing about Bill Gates, he, and Microsoft, were not engaged in politics until Bill Clinton's administration targeted Microsoft with a lawsuit. It forced Microsoft to use it's vast wealth to engage politically, hire lawyers, and lobbyists. It was all by design, get them to spend money on lawyers, then become politically active for Democrats (because it seemed the Democrats would be in control for the foreseeable future) to fend-off any future threats. Then, it signaled to all the other tech companies to ensure they too were politically engaged.

"The American food supply is strong, resilient, and safe," Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue assured Americans on Wednesday, "and in fact our food supply chain has shown tremendous agility in shifting production and logistics so suddenly from restaurant and institutional settings to retail settings" during the COVID-19 pandemic. There may be empty shelves now, he said, but "in the United States, we have plenty of food for all of our citizens." The new coronavirus is doing more than just creating logistical misalignment, though. Most meat is processed at giant facilities, creating a weak point in the production chain.

More than 20 million Americans lack “meaningful broadband service” as people turn to the internet for school and work during the coronavirus crisis, Virginia Sen. Mark Warner warned federal regulators. “Under the current circumstances, this lack of broadband access threatens to greatly—and potentially lastingly—exacerbate disparities in health, education and economic equity,” said Mr. Warner, a Democrat, in a letter to Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai on Thursday. He noted that 770,000 Virginians don’t have broadband access. Mr. Warner urged the FCC to take immediate steps to help close the “digital divide,” including relaxing restrictions on signal contours in rural and exurban areas,

The 2020 presidential race is about to be hit by an O-bomb.Former President Barack Obama is champing at the bit to jump into the campaign fray on behalf of his vice president Joe Biden, and is sharpening his knives for President Trump, his aides and advisors told The Post.“He is very eager to do this,” said a former senior Obama official who remains in regular touch with his old boss. “I certainly expect President Obama to be very active.”Though Obama has followed the tradition of past presidents in avoiding day-to-day criticism of his successor,

Joe Biden has begun putting together a transition team, which may decide to circulate the names of some Cabinet nominees before November's general election. "I don’t want to say we started thinking about it a month ago, we did, because that sounds like I was certain this was going to happen, that I would be the nominee. I don’t want it to sound like that, but it has to happen, and that’s why the transition team is already being put together,” Biden told about 150 donors during his second virtual fundraiser Thursday. The presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee's announcement suggests the two-term vice president and 36-year Delaware senator is

Over the last week, I have been emailing with an Ivy League professor who is deeply concerned about the damage being done to our country by governments’ reaction to the COVID-19 virus. Today she sent me this eloquent email, which I am posting with her permission. I just thought I’d send a few more thoughts your way, for whatever value they might be. I’m just so anguished by what is happening in the country. The policy response is so far disproportionate to the threat and is wreaking such unthinkable damage on our society and our economy. I don’t have the readership you have (or any non-academic readership,

Now, they browse nonfiction. Democrats in Congress have plundered the library of racy novels, dreamy fairy tales and bizarre science fiction paperbacks. They have even stoked their own psychotropic fever dreams. They have scrawled in the margins and defaced every book on the shelves, turning each one into a “choose your own adventure” mystery drama. While Democrats in Congress were entirely consumed with impeaching Mr. Trump, it now appears, the president was conspiring with the leaders of Wuhan, China, and the wild-bat delicacy industry to hatch a virus so deadly and uncontrollably transmissible that it would spark a global pandemic and shut down the world’s economy.

In a remote interview earlier today on MSNBC, Democratic presidential nominee-apparent Joe Biden had a sad anecdote to tell about the impact of the Wuhan-virus pandemic on one American dad. I'm pretty sure, anyway. [Tweet] In case you don't have all day to make sense of Biden's story, I made the effort to transcribe it for you. It was a time-consuming process, but I've done my best to make it error-free. Still, any mistakes in the transcription are my own. Lapses of logic, coherence, cogency, grammar, and the like all belong to Biden. One last thing before you read on. Biden was making odd slurping noises during his appearance,
